2025-01-25 10:29:52 +0000 UTCWhile openings with no spoilers are pretty cool Pretty much EVERY japanese mainstream show puts spoilers into openenings as they are supposed to enhance the manga coverage NOT replace it so about 90% of people who watch these already know exactly what is gonna happen.

2023-12-06 10:33:51 +0000 UTCThe reason why openings always spoil so much is because at the end of the day, the anime is just there to sell the manga (and the magazine that publishes it) so they operate under an assumption that the viewer has already read the manga. Plus the anime OP has become sort of an art in of itself, like a super high budget animated music video.
