I'm three weeks late here but Ground Zero isn't a fan name, it was his Hero name during pre-production of the manga.

2023-07-20 07:05:18 +0000 UTCI'm a week late but Bakugo wasn't (just) being edgy with his hero name! He's actually incorporating his name "Bakugo" into his hero name "Bakuhasatsugou" (at least, that's how I think how it would be written in romanji, but I'm fully unsure as I am not a Japanese speaker). He's using the same characters in his name and his quirk, which gives him something... explosive and murdery lol. Let's just say it has some Japanese wordplay/pun work going on xD (kinda like how Tentacole's name has the same characters as 'tentacle' and 'octopus')

And she didnt change her main focus, she still ultimately wants to be a reacue hero, but she just wants to be more broad. If you already figured that then i humbly apologize for assuming.

Its like how there are superheroes which are off shoots of each other but have similar and different names. Think something akin to Batman and Batgirl, both are active heroes but Batgirl pays homage to Batman.
