BIG UPDATE - New Epithet book underway, another lemonade stream, and more!

Hello, all. This is going to be a busy Summer!

I've been pretty quiet on the Patreon because I've been focusing on several different projects. The major one is writing Epithet Erased's next book, the novelized Museum Arc (EP1-4 of the animated series). The working title for the book is Breaking Silence and Bo has started on the illustrations. The above illustration is for the first chapter, and I've included all WIP versions from my initial crappy sketch to completion.

All Epithet books will have illustrations and audiobooks just like Prison of Plastic did. I'd like them to have hard copies, but publishers are evil so we'll see. It's entirely possible I might move to a digital release model to speed up the process in the future.

Breaking Silence is on its third draft now and it's sitting at around 48,000 words. Amy and several others are currently reading through it and leaving notes. The EP5-7 book, working title Epithet Erased: Cowboy Colors, has also been started, though I'm waiting for feedback on the first book to conclude before diving all the way into it.

I'm considering showing off previews of the writing for Patrons as I go, but I'm not sure exactly how I'd do that. Let me know if you'd be interested in seeing that or if you have any ideas!

The books will expand on the world and give certain characters more depth. Breaking Silence expands on Sylvie and especially Mera. Here's some promotional art of her family by Rhea.

I've also been spending a lot of time writing support conversations for Winds of Change, the big Fire Emblem-inspired project I tinker with every few months. The support conversations alone are 170 pages... And they're not even half done. Oops.

So that's been fun! I'll make a video about this in... probably 2.5-3 years.

I've also been cutting down footage for the next Sky Pirate Girlfriends-style edited video, which is going to be the long awaited Path of Radiance-Radiant Dawn video. I spent the last two weeks in the background watching through around 70 hours of footage. I've cut it down to ~3 hours now. I'm going to be working on that as a secondary project when I'm not working on Epithet.

In streaming news: I just started a discord channel for Jello Plays Games. It is just for updates. There are no text channels because none of us want to mod a community, but YouTube notifications never work so this is a place you can go to make sure you get 100% of our live pings.

Also, I'll be doing yet another Lemonade Tasting Stream for charity on June 20th, which is my birthday, as is tradition.

I've moved to Toronto so there's enough new regional lemonades to warrant another taste-test. We'll be raising money for LGBT+ charities (probably the Trevor Project but I haven't officially locked it in yet) with an eventual goal of hitting $150,000 total. We don't need to hit that goal in this stream (and I don't expect to), but we'll have an ongoing donation project over the next few months with the lemonade stream being the start of it.

And finally, for $5+ patrons Book Club will be resuming this month with Yokohama Shopping Log. This is a nice, easy one-installation reading. Looking forward to seeing you there!
