POLL - Yam + Jello Anime OP Lecture Scheduling

Amy and I have spent over a year watching thousands of anime openings, trying to rank the actual for-real best 100 Anime Openings of All Time. And we did it! We finished. We've got our Top 100. We also have several thousand hours of study and opinions to share with you all.

Eventually I will release a polished video with the full list on the main channel. When that happens, a companion video will go up on the Patreon. The companion video will be Amy and I talking about why we ranked the openings the way we did with more specific examples than we could ever fit in a reasonable timeframe and longer examinations of not just the top 100 we picked, but dozens of others that make for good examples of why things didn't make the list.

Amy wanted to do this on a stream so people could ask questions lecture-hall style and we could react to them live. So! The only way we can set this up is to do a stream with our full list months in advance of the actual video.

To set this up, I am going to do the following, in the following order:

1) Schedule a Patron-exclusive live stream for $5+/mo patrons (that's this!). This way, if you are interested in participating, you can let us know what days you are likely to be available.

2) Amy and I will stream the lives tream (possibly two.) This will be a massively long stream. Just watching the 100 openings by itself is an hours-long endeavor. Talking about all of them could last anywhere from 5 to literally 9+ hours. We're almost certainly going to do this in multiple sittings, possibly over multiple days. NOTE THAT THESE STREAMS WILL NOT BE ACCESSIBLE ONCE THEY ARE DONE. Because we are streaming anime footage and anime songs, it is almost guaranteed that copyright issues will take down the video and endanger any channel we try to host it on. The goal of these streams is to have chat interactivity and so we can record your questions during the stream so we'll have the footage later on.

3) After the stream is taken down, Jello will eventually edit both the stream lecture AND the final video. The video of the top 100 itself will be released on Jello's main channel. The lecture will be exclusive to $15/mo patrons, because this project easily took over a thousand hours. So $5+ patrons are welcome to participate in the initial stream, but the polished final archived version will only be accessible for top-tier patrons.

If you are interested in watching our list and/or being part of the lecture so we can ask questions, please let us know what days of the week you are generally available. Mondays are the only days Amy is guaranteed to be free so that's the best day, but we're keeping options open. This is likely to occur in 2/3 weeks. We will make an announcement with the link to the stream once the dates are selected.
