The Patreon Pilot Podcast (4-25-2015)

With the sloppiest logo you can think of (click it to listen/download), here’s something tentatively called “The Patreon Pilot Podcast!” Obviously, music’s temp, name’s temp, lots of things are temp. A Tumblr Q&A Podcast is currently up at as $250 goal on my Patreon, and we’re obviously a long way from hitting $250. As a bit of an incentive, I decided to provide a taste of things that could be. Well, sort of; this being a pilot and all, future episodes will probably change quite a bit as I get my footing. For instance, in this episode I decided to venture in to the podcast by myself, but in future episodes (if those materialize) I may seek out a guest or two. There’s also potential issues of a name, RSS feeds, legit intro and outro music, etc. But I’m taking baby steps, here. I need to get my podcasting legs (or get them back?) This episode covers five questions in all. Unfortunately, I have this problem where when I hear myself talk, it ends up sounding kind of like nonsense, so I have no idea when I ramble for too long. Only way to fix that is a trial by fire, I guess. Questions Answered: 1. Do you sometimes feel as if the gaming industry is getting worse? 2. What’s the deal with all these Japanese games being released in the US but only for playstations? 3. With the introduction of Google Video/YouTube, did you expect it to have a large effect on video games? 4. Why are Sonic fans so obsessed with story? Sonic has never been high art when it comes to that. 5. What do you think about Steam letting mod developers sell their mods?
