August nominations open + a short update

Hey all, slightly different plan for the poll this month. You are still welcome to sumbit anything you like, however I will only be picking my five personal favourites to move to the polling round, and from those you will only be able to vote for one!

I've been feeling a bit burned out these last few months as I have a lot going on, but this past couple of weeks have kind of hit me like a ton of bricks plus my mum is in her last few days of being here before she goes to the great big portrait gallery in the sky, so I just kind of need to make sure next month's poll art sparks joy in a way that properly speaks to me.

Normal service will resume in September. Please don't offer condolences re my mum. TL:DR it's complicated and I've already made my peace.
