Naera's Last Chance

This was starting to get pretty serious, Naera had to admit. The guy knew his stuff, that much was for sure, but she still refused to believe she couldn't rise to the occasion. She could beat him. At the moment she was holed up in one of the cabins. If nothing else, she'd hear him come in. No more surprises like the first two times. Thinking back to both instances was enough to quicken her heartbeat. It also gave her this...warm, tingling feeling. Wasn't sure what that was about, something about the weight of him coming down on her, or that...thing shoved up between her legs like it was, but whatever it was, the less thought about it, the better. She trotted over to the windows and looked out. No signs of him. But she still wasn't entirely comfortable in here. Really, the place was surrounded by woods, and there was really no rule that she couldn't just hide among the trees, like she was used to. They were still, on the property, right?

Good idea.

Naera trotted for the front door, twisted the knob and swinging the door open, stepping out onto the wooden dec -

"EEK!"

Naera felt herself being yanked back into the darkness of the cabin, Draysil's powerful, brown-and-grey furred arms wrapped around her entire body.

"Alright Naera, I think that's enough."

"W-wait, hang on...just...one more chance!" pleaded the doe, desperately clinging to the door frame. "I'll get it, I'll do better!"

Was he in there with me the whole time!?

"Sorry, but I can't waste any more time with this, I'm a busy guy," concluded Draysil, prying her fingers from the frame. "Still a lot of time left over but, I can probably keep you in here a half hour or so, that'll eat up some time. I'm not all that worked up, anyway."

"But...what, I...a half hour?!" Naera chittered, as her grip weakened.

"Maybe more, if I feel like it, I mean, if you're not gonna learn to be a decent runner, then you might as well at least get good at this part...it's bound to come up, a lot."

"Wait, just gimme...just wait a minute, I...gimme one more - AIEEE!"

With one final yank, the female's fingers slipped from the frame, followed immediately by the climactic slam of the door. Whatever protests and frantic bargaining she had left to offer were now muffled by the cabin walls which sealed her inside with the ornery old buck. The sound of her panicked voice was only muddled further as it disappeared deeper into the cabin, toward the bedroom, the first of many stations where Draysil would repeatedly teach her perhaps the only lesson than he still could.
