The Land of Devabhumi is a distant place nestled in between the sea and sky scraping mountains. It is a land where gods and mortals live together, boons and curses change the destiny of its inhabitants, and senses are easily overpowered by the diversity of the landscape.
Magic is elusive, but it still dots the land, presenting itself as brief but powerful energy that is tucked away from the grasp of most mortals. Those that are able to channel this magic are rare and are called Jadugar, or spellcasters. These Jadugar use the help of magic to build towering palaces, crystal forests, and flying vessels that pierce through the sky.
Out of all the magic, fire in particular is sacred among the people of Devabhumi. Those who are able to channel it and conjure flames are rare, and their power is dangerous...
This is one of many portraits that will find their way into Devabhumi, a D&D 5e campaign setting based on Ancient India. This setting book comes with 100+ pages of lore, 6 new races, a Karma mechanic, and much more. Sign up to be notified when this project goes live here.
