Twisting Path

Hello again, everyone! This week's map is the Twisting Path (11x16), a mini forest map with hilly, rocky terrain for your players to scramble over. As always, I like to imagine a creature standing at the top of the hill chucking projectiles down onto the players as they climb, but considering the scale of the map (which is the size of 2 sheets of printer paper if you've forgotten) I'd think the combat might not be an arch mage throwing down meteors. Instead, maybe this one is more on the scale of a couple goblins throwing rocks or some rascally village kids with slingshots considering that everything on this map would just about fit inside an NBA basketball court (10x19).

This little maps have plenty of room for a combat, I think, even if you aren't printing these out for use in smaller spaces like libraries or bars. It feels pretty rare for combats I've taken part of to take place in spaces larger than this, if I'm being honest, so these high-detail mini maps should be plenty useful in most scenarios, I hope.

While the tiny maps are cute and all, they aren't for me. I love my large Neutral Party maps! Any chance we might be going back to those soon?

Really like this one. It may not be flashy, but it'll fit in most campaigns, and the terrain makes it much more interesting to fight on than just a flat plain. I can see myself using this a lot for random on-the-road encounters.
