Twisting Path, Expert
Added 2025-09-09 15:56:49 +0000 UTCHello once again, everyone- this week's map is the Twisting Path (11x16), a classic forest map in miniature. One of the nice things about making these little maps is that I can focus in on the finer details and give each area closer attention. Looking back at my old maps, there were huge chunks that were just about empty, just grass or a few scattered rocks. I think these maps were large for the sake of being large, they could have been a fraction of the size just as easily considering how many grid spaces were essentially empty. But anyway, this is talk for the Behind the Scenes post- you're here for your extra variants.
Your bonuses these time are Autumn and Haunted! Yes, this is me expressing my current vibe, I'm ready for summer to be over. You'll recognize both of these palettes if you've been around this Patreon for a while, though this Autumn palette is a little more subdued than usual, a bit less colorful than many of my Autumn map. Even so, I think the colors here are plenty autumnal and will do great for anyone looking to nail that vibe in their campaigns!
