The Volcanic one will be great for giving you another extreme environment to slot this map into, and if you want you can easily fill this room with even further environmental challenges, like toxic gasses from the vent or dangerous heat.
The Cracked version is included as an earlier stage of the regular map, letting you surprise players who maybe aren't so careful on thin ice, or perhaps allowing something from below to case some of the floor to drop away. Once you swap, I bet players will be a bit more cautious about how they move about in this room, they might suspect that you've got another stage of this map with even less ground to stand on, giving you room to mess with their heads. Fun!
