Infested Caverns, Expert
Added 2024-08-12 19:24:37 +0000 UTCI'm back again, this time with a nice cave map, the Infested Caverns (40x40)! This one has lots of space for multiple encounters, giving you room to lead up to a bigger fight, probably with a big spider.
Your alternate versions of this map are Enchanted and Subdued, 2 maps on opposite ends of the vibrancy spectrum. The Enchanted one I think gives the map a very funky energy, like there's some wacky magic at play in this cave that maybe has had an effect on the bugs living inside. On the other end, the Subdued version feels very dusty and grim, like the forest is dying and this is just another wasting part of it. It's fun how the colors change this map so drastically, huh?

I JUST decided to use the infested crypt map for a small side quest. Now I can tease a larger spider and a larger infestation for later... great looking map!
