Forest Portal
Added 2023-04-17 16:00:54 +0000 UTCThis week's map is the Forest Portal (35x30), a circle of standing stones which, if properly activated, trigger a mystical portal! Or not, that's up to you- I've included multiple versions of this one so that you might have a bit more to work with here, such as variants where the runes on the stones are simply sparking or entirely off.
I was thinking that perhaps some wouldn't want any magical effects for their encounters (the rocks alone could be intriguing enough to build a story around), or maybe the portal itself might be a little too heavy-handed for the combat you have in mind, so in either case you have some alternatives to work with! Hopefully the collection off all three cover most bases- as always my goal is to make my maps as useful as possible, it would be a shame if you couldn't use a map because some element in it worked against your plans.

Hey! I was wondering if we could get a series of taverns with some exteriors, like stables and such. Maybe have some of them be mid-barfight or spontaneous fire? Thanks for all your hard work!
