Heya, everyone,
Hope you all had fun exploring Elderwick Manor and confronting the Lord and Lady of the manor!
This week I had some requests to revisit the old adventure hex system I used quite a while ago (in Valley of the Conquered King, for example) These are basically interesting keyed locations on a hex crawl map, using three sentences mostly, and tied together through an adventure matrix to generate fun adventure outlines. It was originally inspired by the old Dragonlance campaign setting box.
I also had some interesting questions and requests about the setting for Spider Crucible (a larger series of mini-adventures that I plan to revisit/edit soonish!) I thought it might be fun to combine those two requests and present a little more of the larger setting in which it is set. This is actually a favorite haunt of my son when we run our GM'less games, so I put him to work playtesting this.
Enjoy hex crawling through the Spidercrawl Frontier, and if you encounter the hill giants Broca and Braca, be sure to collect their gold teeth!
Cheerio,
John
