Heya, everyone,

Hope you enjoyed reading some of my Solitary Musings last week!

This week I had great fun with the format I used in Pyre of the Ember Lord and writing up three quickstart locations I used to test out some new rulesets (Beyond the Wall and The Hero's Journey) I really like the way play spins off from the selected keywords in this method.

One of these quickstart locations revisits the spacefaring fantasy of Visitor from the Maelstrom, which goes way back. Fun to be able to show you a map of my favorite tavern in this spelljammer-inspired setting :)

The Troll King's Brood features a not-so-fatherly troll trying to find a new caretaker for his unruly trollish children and preparing for a wedding.

Conclave of Captains has space-faring captains being betrayed during a meeting on how to handle the growing pirate threat in a lucrative frontier asteroid belt.

The Twilight Seedling is all about a fringe druidic sect sealing themselves away in a secret vault to prepare for the day the natural world is destroyed by power-hungry wizards.
