Mark of the Fox Demon

Heya, everyone!

This week I had lots of fun playing around with an oracle seed loosely inspired by Deathwork's creative suggestion: Nekomimi.

The theme of this suggestion had me thinking about the Tales of Sakura adventure toolkit I wrote quite a while ago which is based around a loose fantasy version of ancient japan. I created the Mark of the Fox Demon oracle seed using this toolkit and enjoyed playing through it using Scarlet Heroes and Mythic GME.

My own game featured a lot of political intrigues and scheming, so I thought it would be fun to use some progress clocks as seen in Blades of the Dark and enjoyed the experience. They also match the goal vs. obstacle style solo play I am enjoying lately quite nicely.

Anyway, enjoy getting to the bottom of Moriya Kodama's mysterious murder, find out if the clan leaders deserve their fate, and try not to blow up the Cherry Blossom empire in the meantime, or do! :)
