Hope you had fun last week with the automatons in Wondrous Skyship of the Clockwork Community.
This week's upload was inspired by Deathworks' creative suggestion 'Silence', a bit of Lovecraft, and a fascinating story I read about astronauts sometimes hearing strange noises. It also gave me a chance to experiment with a new oracle seed format inspired by a few of my older more oracle-styled resources: The Homunculus Heist and The Bladed Prison.
The story framework in the Cosmic Silence is one that I am really enjoying in setting up my solo games lately. It consists of giving your character a clear goal and a series of three or more obstacles of increasing intensity to overcome in order to achieve that goal in an ultimate conflict/climax. It's a subtly interesting variant on the three-act structure.
Anyway, enjoy trying to solve the predicament of being the last remaining astronaut in the Cosmic Silence!
