Ancient Ruins
Added 2019-05-24 14:08:19 +0000 UTCI'm back this week with another one, the Ancient Ruins (30x30)! This map is one of my choices, and as usual, whenever it's up to me I always end up making forest maps (typically with ruins mixed in). This one's a little reminiscent of my old Forest Ruins map, one of my personal favorites, but with some aspects of one of my newer favorites, Riverside Ruins, and in all I think it came out looking very cool.
The adept version of this map is a little different than usual- I replaced the river with a stream of lava and swapped out the palette to make everything look more volcanic. I think it has a Link to the Past vibe (maybe the mini-ziggurat is a gateway to the dark world?), so check it out!
