The Empress’s advisors warned her of the reputation of surface pirates, but Ashera only had eyes for the charming rogue and his fascinating tales of high adventure.
He begged her to show him the ancient Tidal Pearl of her people, and awestruck, they made love underneath its shimmering blue radiance.
However, Longtooth McCoy could not pass up such an opportunity. He stole the Tidal Pearl and made his way to the surface even as Empress Ashera’s palace crumbled around him.
Unbeknownst to him, the Empress carried his child. A little girl that would be forged into her instrument of vengeance, and instilled with a cold hatred of her father, captain Longtooth McCoy...
Heya, everyone!
Hope you all enjoyed braving the high seas of adventure in last week's Cutlass Cove. I've been a little busy with the kids starting their holiday, so this upload is a little later than I had hoped!
The Silent Empress adds a little fantasy, a dangerous third faction, and a little extra backstory to the mini-setting of Cutlass Cove, as Longtooth's McCoy daughter comes looking to avenge her mother! Who doesn't love a good revenge story :) Its also a continuation of the oracle format, which I really like as a free-form style of play!
Enjoy boarding the Silent Empress, or using it as a starting point for adventure. You should have no trouble placing the ship in whatever setting uses ships, like Planescape or Spelljammer etc.
