Cutlass Cove has always been a hornet’s nest of pirates, smugglers, and other elements attracted to a lawless life on the high seas. It was originally founded by marooned pirates who built the settlement from driftwood and shipwrecks in deep coral caves.
Although quickly gaining a fearsome reputation as the most wicked port in the world, several nations actually keep official delegates in Cutlass Cove. Its unique location making it a vital port of call for longer trade routes.
For some, like the half-orc pirate-captain Longtooth McCoy and his crew of roguish misfits, this official importance might just save their lives...
Heya, everyone,
Hope you had fun last week climbing Mount Totemic! I thought it would be a fun idea to use my hack of the Location Crafter for the small pirate-themed game setting I'm currently enjoying!
Cutlass Cove is a randomizing location featuring two bitter enemies struggling in the most wicked port on the high seas over a tragic accident. Or was it? In my game, the scarred survivor with amnesia was a really fun element!
You should have no trouble at all converting it to whatever setting or genre you prefer, I could definitely see this as a fun sci-fi setting as well!
Anyway, enjoy and game on!
Cheerio,
John
