General Manbane's Warband

Travelers tell of remote towns surrounded by improvised battered palisades made of sharpened logs. Daily life consists of enduring constant attacks, desperate food shortages and running out of other vital supplies.
While some mention an enormous half-ogre general called Manbane, others speak of Manblight the half-ogre warlock. There even those who claim to have seen both together leading ogres into battle.
It is whispered that, once a town’s defenses are breached, the ogres search out children and take them away in large sacks. Whoever is in charge of the ogres appears to have something more sinister in mind than simple destruction.
Unfortunately, your own travels in the next few days will take you through the towns of the troubled northern reaches.

I hope you all had fun trying out my version of Wildspace in the Spelljammer inspired Visitor from the Maelstrom!
This upload was inspired by a short playthrough of an earlier setting I made called Valley of the Conquered King and features the shenanigans of the half-ogre bad guy Manbane. Only this time, he also brought his little brother Manblight the warlock along for the ride!
General Manbane's Warband is an interesting 3-tiered Random Encounter Table with a story background wrapped around it. You should have no problems fitting it into any setting that has remote towns and the possibility of an ogre threat.
PS. Still working on Martijn Jansen's suggestion about a large outdoor marketplace, but as I was already working on something larger with that theme, it will be a little longer.
