Goblin Battle Tactics
Added 2019-08-02 01:31:31 +0000 UTCWhen I'm running my solo games, I like to be suprised by what happens storywise. When I use a GM emulator and oracle system, I find this happens quite naturally.
However, most of my games are focused on story and characters, rather than pure combat. Although, i certainly love a good heroic battle from time to time. :)
Recently, I've been experimenting with building a kind of template that fits the combat behaviour of adversaries, but allows for the eb and flow of your battle to deliver convincing actions.
This Goblin Battle Tactics table uses a three phase setup with increasingly dangerous but fitting tactics suggestions. This allows me to have my fun with combat encounters, while not having to overthink them, and still have room for creative interpretation of combat events.
Also, I'm trying out a new artist for my resources, so let me know what you think of the art in this resource.
