The New & Improved WW Patreon!

It's finally happening!

My Patreon has a new tier system and new benefits, and I'm excited to be sharing these new updates with everyone. The good news is it's all good news!

The Patreon will continue to focus on live videos, but the video style will be different. Instead of being spammed with short single-song videos, you'll get videos of longer-form chunks of live shows usually featuring multiple songs and including all the goofs between them. Some bonus videos might be all goof. Some will be with the band. In addition to that, extra Q&A videos will be available as well. Of course how much you get will still depend on your tier, but all memberships have been improved on significantly!

The other good news is that the way this change works means you can ignore this if you want and nothing will change except now you'll get basically all the same stuff plus extra!

Here's a breakdown of how it works:

I have the cognitive capacity of a small group of ants with a disrupted pheromone trail, so apologies if I do a bad job explaining. I'll first explain this: I am just closing one tier and changing the names of the others while upgrading content, not adding new tiers or changing how much you'll pay.

Members of Tier 1 & 2 are now members of the new "MOUSE" Tier!
Mice will receive the same essential benefits moving forward, but current Tier 2 Patrons & future "Mouse" Patrons will still have exclusive access to the Tier-2-Only chunk of the 2022 live video library. In case that's confusing, basically Tier 2 has been renamed "Mouse" and anything they get moving forward (but not retroactively) will also go to people who joined old Tier 1. That way they don't have to switch tiers/pay more and they get to be sort of grandfathered into being Mice, but people who pay extra still get extra. Y'all will get a couple videos a month like before, but longer ones with more varied types of focus!

What was previously Tier 3 is now, as you might guess: the "RAT" Tier
Rats will get what Mice get, plus an extra video, plus a Q&A video, as well as access to previously published behind-the-scenes videos and blog posts. If you're a current Tier 3 member, you'll now get the benefits of what will soon be called RAT!

Tier 4 is now the "MOTH" tier, which will continue to receive everything in the lower tiers, plus another bonus video, plus merch discounts, and a little art gift in the mail every 3 months for your first year. You'll also get a bonus video, sometimes music and sometimes an extra Q&A.

Tier 5 is now called "CICADA."
Cicadas will continue to have access to everything in the lower tiers, plus higher discounts and merch gifts, plus the library of recordings, and since we're out of new instrumental or live recordings to share (although maybe I'll post some sneak peeks/demos at some point!) you'll be getting a bonus Q&A video every month as well! There's also other benefits that will come around here and there, like extra early access to stuff when there's stuff to access extra early, and sneak peeks that may include home studio demos of unreleased music now and again.

The above descriptions are the core features, but as always there may come times where I have a little something extra to share with Patrons!

So basically it's this: Tier 1 and 2 have become Mice. Tier 3 have become Rats. Tier 4 are Moths. Tier 5 are Cicadas. The benefits are mostly the same, with an increase focus on bigger and better videos!

If you're at all confused by any of this, I totally get it. Patreon is weird and it's not like I'm not. I hope I explained it relatively well, but if the foam of the caffeine-resistant brain fog I am lugubriously sloshing about in is as murky as it probably is (which it definitely probably is) please feel free to scream in the comments and I will give the utmost effort to clarifying the overflowing ladle of alphabet soup I've just slopped into your lap while shouting "hope that explains it, that'll be ten dollars, you're welcome."
