2025-11-05 04:17:50 +0000 UTCPretty harsh there on the half drunk kid who has been providing unstinting emotional support to his grieving girlfriend for a year only to be told their relationship is BS for getting slightly upset and walking out. Also I thought it would be pretty clear the hunter who was hit by the flying squirrel and had his stuff stolen might have gone to the police - pretty sure that's why that scene is there.

I think he's well aware that Nancy blames herself but he's also a teenager, has also had a few to drink and has the sudden bombshell of his girlfriend saying their relationship is a lie that she maintains to pretend everything is normal. That's really not a good thing to hear and, honestly, just walking away is better than having a blazing row with a drunk girlfriend. Not everyone is a wonderfully capable therapist, especially not half-cut American teenage guys ;-)

They also often wore denim and leather, usually a leather jacket (with or without a denim vest over it) and denim jeans. NWOBHM band Saxon even had an album and title track named after that. The cool doctor at the institute is the same actor, Paul Reister, who played the corporate weasel in Aliens whose company wanted to use the xenomorphs for bioweapons research.

2025-10-29 06:17:03 +0000 UTCI disagree, there was plenty of lead up for the fight as we see how Nancy has been struggling with the guilt she feels about Barb and we see that Steve seemed a little like he didn't want to be involved with Barb's parent's diner. Also, they are high school kids... do you not remember how dumb and oblivious we all were during that time of our lives.
