Movie Poll: Action +1 (corrected a mistake)
Added 2025-08-25 13:21:27 +0000 UTCDidnt realize there was 2 movies called Red that was 2 years apart and the poll included the wrong one, but also dont want to disregard votes that went to the actual 2008 one and not the 2010. So this action poll now has 1 option that isnt action. Apologies for the confusion.

It is fun. It’s a futuristic take on Rocky.

2025-08-30 17:10:33 +0000 UTCDown the road, hopefully you'll consider a great underrated film, Real Steel (2011). Has Hugh Jackman and Evangeline Lily in it, it was produce by Steven Spielberg... Great movie...

2025-08-27 03:38:30 +0000 UTCApocalypto hopefully gets some love later. What a crazy movie. The entire first 20 minutes or something is completely without dialogue and they used a CRAZY AMOUNT of extras in bespoke makeup, hiring an unprecedented amount of locals for authenticity. Truly impressive film from the most surprising of directors imo

2025-08-26 17:02:14 +0000 UTCI recommend 3 Men and a Baby, directed by Leonard Nemoy, relatively close to your Star Trek chronological timeline.

2025-08-26 16:51:20 +0000 UTCHoping the Count of Monte Cristo holds onto win. I've been suggesting it for along time. I love that movie. My second choice on this poll would be R.E.D., but technically there is not two "Red" movies. 2010 one is short for "Retired Extremely Dangerous = R.E.D.) Still wishing for these reactions in the near future... 1. Secondhand Lions (You'll love it, but probably never win a poll. Great all around movie, action, comedy, heart) 2. Little Shop of Horrors (1986) 3. Fallen 4. Young Guns 5. 187

2025-08-26 10:21:45 +0000 UTCThe Count of Monte Cristo is so, so much fun. I've loved it for a long time and never even conceived it'd get a reaction on this channel. Here's to hoping it hangs on for the win! Other recs for the week: Perks of Being a Wallflower Manchester by the Sea Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri Sideways The Royal Tenenbaums Cheers!
