In Nassau there is an underwater area called the Bond wrecks. I did a hotel scuba orientation and for the dive we went to that area. Saw a car on the bottom but was told the airplane for Thunderball was too deep.

I'm in my late 60's and this is my favorite Bond movie definitely, and I saw this as a 9 or 10 year old in the movies and it was the greatest thing I ever saw, and no other Bond's come close. Goldfinger is my 2nd best of every Bond movie including the most recent ones. It's difficult I think to impress on young people like yourselves in 2025 how big James Bond was in the 1960's. It’s based on the novel by John LeCarre who actually worked for the British intelligence service. The film “Tinker, Taylor, Soldier, Spy” (2011) is also based on a LaCarre novel.
