FAQ / Common Troubleshooting:
Access Restricted - Some users are getting Access Restricted messages even though their accounts are on the correct tier. Please check if the browser you are using is logged into Patreon with the correct email address. Especially on mobile/tablet devices, while you may be logged into the Patreon App with the correct email/account, once you click on the link and it opens up a browser window, the browser itself may be logged into Patreon with a different email/account. The Patreon App and the Browser are not connected in their login, so please go to Patreon.com on your browser app and double check if its logged in correctly. Additionally, Chrome and Safari tends to have trouble with cookies and cache, but Firefox does not and has worked 100% of the time. If the issue persists after double checking and clearing your cache, please reach out to us in the Tech Support Chat.
Unable to Rotate/Full Screen the video - This seems to mostly (or exclusively) with iPhones and Safari browser. To solve this, instead of clicking on the Uncovered link from the Patreon App (which will open the link as an overlay that cannot rotate), copy the URL instead and paste it into your phones actual internet browser address bar. When the video is playing that way, you can full screen and rotate normally.
Unable to do Picture in Picture Mode - This feature is browser and device specific, users have reported that browsers like Firefox and Chrome can do PiP with the browser as a whole, while other browsers like Safari that does not have said feature will have to utilize the phones Split Screen mode instead.
Unable to Cast/Airplay from phone - Have to admit that neither of us has ever used Chromecast or Airplay so it was something we hadn't considered at all until now, and we apologize for the oversight. But from user testing and discoveries, it seems that most phones have the innate ability to cast the entire screen onto TV's and other devices, and some browsers like Firefox and Chrome also have the ability to cast the browser app itself. Safari does not have this ability, but we've been informed that iPhones themselves do have the ability to Airplay the entire device screen.
Here's what we're currently working on:
We are continuing the conversion of all our older content into Uncovered versions, classic covered Patreon version will continue to exist and be produced just like it always has been.
We are looking into alternatives for the player embedded in our site, our primary focus is size of storage and bandwidth limitation vs affordability.
Cataloguing everyone's feedback and any bugs thats been discovered for fixing. Updates are being continuously pushed every day, if you randomly see 500 Server Error, its likely due to bad timing with an update at the exact same moment. Wait a few minutes, then clear cache and refresh should solve the issue.
Some of the first batch of Uncovered Versions created had audio levels that were too low, those will be fixed as soon as the rest of the catalogue has been converted to Uncovered.

hm.. i just checked the version and im not seeing it, is there a particular moment you noticed this? because the sync i did was in 3 parts. first is that the footage of our reaction is the same file as the covered Patreon version, so i just frame matched against the strip of the movie thats visible in the middle to match it. second i use the end of the movie, when the credits roll and we react according with our usual 'the movie ends lets start chatting'. lastly i also use the 1 2 3 play to sync the movie file. and its the same file used at the time of recording. all 3 should lead to an exact sync.

But I did notice that your recent release of the Uncovered Version of Rango is a bit out of sync. Your reaction comes first and then about 4 seconds later we see what you reacted to. Wouldn’t bother me if the delay had been the other way around. I know you guys have been hard at work at these, but maybe you can add this to the list of videos that need a bit of tweaking, after you finish converting the others. Thanks!

2025-07-06 22:41:29 +0000 UTCHi WastedPo, the access works as following. 1. both TV shows and Movies have a Patreon Version that requires your own copy, and an Uncovered No Sync version where you dont need your own copy. The latter is linked in the description of each post. 2. TV Shows of either version requires Cinephile tier or higher. 3. Movies of either version requires Bingers on the Wall tier or higher.

In the descriptions for both the Cinephile and the "Bingers on the Wall" tiers, it says: "There are 2 versions of every unedited reaction. The version where you dont need to have your own copy to sync is a link in the description," which almost implies that either tier gives access to the reactions where you don't need your own copy.

Log out of the Patreon account that may be logged in on that browser, then log back in with the correct account/email address. After that, return to the Patreon app, hold down any Uncovered Version links you want to see and and select "Open in Browser". it should then do the usual verification prompt and proceed normally.

2025-06-16 15:29:44 +0000 UTCI had no issues when I started copying and pasting the link into my iPhone’s browser aside from the fact it doesn’t save where you left off if you have to switch to a different app on the phone for an extended period of time. That was the nice thing about the Patreon viewer especially when watching longer format shows like Ted Lasso and needed to break up viewing by episode. I am sure you will get that sorted. Cheers!

Just a simple HTML page sorted alphabetically that can be searched in the browser with ctrl-F would be fine. Searching for particular old episodes on Patreon or trying to navigate through collections a few items at a time doesn't work well.

I can watch it for a short period of time before it just goes black and the phone turns off. Is it the time that I have allocated before lock screen etc? iPhone.
