About the pharmacies. Probably different for each country/area/state. In Finland, all pharmacies uses a nationwide computer system for prescription stuff. It's regulated. Here you get your meds in like 2 minutes where ever you go. Only difference when getting drugs that are made on site. Never used those so IDK.

ProIndy

American Reunion too please! It's alright if you don't watch the spin-offs but if you do I'd recommend Band Camp.

ShittyShittyGameGang

Just chiming in to add to the “Watch American Reunion” crowd. It is just as good as the others and is a great look at where the characters we all have come to care about are now. It also has some hilarious moments that you will probably enjoy.

Maniacalmouse

:) I enjoyed watching this with you both quite a bit!

Logan Kerlee

I agree … American Reunion is a much better ending to these stories. Also, Eugene Levy is amazing in Best In Show. Fantastic movie for you guys to watch. Check out the cast!

Anthony Fumai

Not even planning to watch but based on how they talked about it in other videos they didn't like it I assume?

dys

That's actually an amazing album. Laid is great but the best track from the album is Sometimes (Lester Piggot).

Simone's Coconut Squire

i think you guys would enjoy Porkies probably the best of the 80's teen sex comedies

rictus grin

The song in the intro and outro I remember was great, It's called Laid, by James. But I thought this version was a cover because it sounded different to me, I listened to it on YT and it sounds like this version for some reason took out some of the reverb on the vocals (I'm a sucker for some reverb), maybe I'm tripping, but it just didn't sound as good. Anyway I added it to my 90s one hit wonders playlist.

MacGuffinStuff

You guys should watch Rat Race (2001) it’s a fantastic ensemble comedy with a very famous cast! It’s hilarious.

Emily G

Splash was a good Eugene levy film. Also tom hanks.

Fattydoe

That is one horrendous cover of “Laid” at the beginning and over the end credits….gawdawful. Mr. Flaherty is played by Fred Willard who you saw in “This Is Spinal Tap,” “Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me,” “Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle,” “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy,” and he was the live action CEO of Buy N Large in “WALL-E.” As Brien Kliver mentioned below, the seaside hotel where the wedding takes place is the Ritz-Carlton but the interiors were filmed at the Rose Hills Foundation Conservatory for Botanical Science of the Huntington Library and Gardens, near Pasadena, California: “The glass and steel building was still under construction at the time of filming, so it was possible to completely dress the Conservatory as a luxury indoor wedding spot. The dance floor was constructed over what is now a fish pond with tropical plants. The house and grounds have been seen in plenty of other movies, including Coming To America, The Wedding Singer, A Cinderella Story, Starsky & Hutch (2004), Indecent Proposal, The Nutty Professor (1996), Memoirs of a Geisha and Serenity.” https://movie-locations.com/movies/a/American-Pie-3.php

Schitt's Creek is so great and it's one of the most bingeable shows, I flew threw it in maybe two days, couldn't stop watching it.

MacGuffinStuff

I thought this one was pretty bad but the ending saved it. Out of the 3 we’ve watched her so far, the first one is still the best.

REDR58

Eugene Levy is near unrecognizable in Almost Heroes (1998)

Drew

Best In Show is another fantastic Eugene Levy movie.

Lou Gallucci

You should definitely watch Schitt's Creek. While his character is nothing like Mr. Levinstein, Eugene Levy is fantastic as well as the rest of the cast.

Levi Curry

I hope you get to American Reunion soon to finish off the series, IMO it’s a lottt better than this one and has better jokes, story and heart to it, and serves all the characters better

PeppermintWizardOfAus

American Reunion is the best one

Martin Roca

When George said his prescription was prepackaged I feel he may have told everyone what it is without telling us what it is... He obviously uses prescription strength condoms.... NOICE George... nice... ;) Way to brag in that low-key way where you're not doing it outright, but still letting us know "yeah... that's how I get down..."

akaTheBARON

I’m realizing… I don’t like these movies and maybe I never did. I don’t like these characters and I don’t care what they get into. This was a slog for me. Why do I own these?!

djKENTO

Do the next movie American Reunion it's better than this one. Original cast as well.

Critical87

Eugene Levy was great in Splash.

Justin Bulkley

Just a heads up this wasn’t the end of the American Pie saga. American reunion is also the same cast and oz and heather are back. It’s worth watching. It’s better than wedding.

Joe D

Speaking of SCTV and Rick Moranis, a great movie for Canadians to watch is Strange Brew. Plus he's coming out of decades of retirement to do Spaceballs 2.

David Zabel

If you guys want to see a great Sean William Scott movie where he plays a different character please get Goon (2011) on a poll. And no, this is way before the current meaning behind that title, plus its a Canadian movie.

Jacob

That building is the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Half Moon Bay, California!

Brien Kliver

You really need to watch the tv show “SCTV”, it’s like the Canada version of snl and introduced Eugene Levy, Martin Short, John Candy and Rick Moranis

Matt88g

Eric Allan Kramer (Bear) played the first live action Thor in 1988, he was also Little John in Robin Hood Men In Things...

Monica Alarcon

There's a couple of people in this movie that are also in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and both of their roles in that movie are great. I believe that's also the next movie in line for you guys in the View Askewniverse, (Clerks, Mallrats, etc) and once again will mention Dude Where's My Car? for a goofy stoner movie starring Seann William Scott.

Mavs4177

Since Natasha Lyonne is missing from this one, some of my favourite movies of her's that I'll suggest are "Slums of Beverly Hills" (1998) and "But I'm a Cheerleader" (1999)

Cincassette

Also love American Reunion. I think it was released around 10 years after this one so it really felt like a reunion with beloved characters. probably would be best to let some time go by if you're planning to do that one.

Polecat21

Well I thought I would never use the uncovered version but I just couldn't find the theatrical version of this movie so let's try it...

Monica Alarcon

DISCLAIMER: This is a joke. Please throw me no shade ;). George, your answer about waiting at the Pharmacy: Because Canada, man!

Grandalf

Guessing they have not seen the series mad men? Mrs. Draper actress is in this movie.

Davy Jones

The fact that Stifler was the focal point of the entire movie is why this is my least favorite of the franchise. I love him but he should be enjoyed in moderation. Since it's American Wedding, the focus of the movie should've been mainly on Jim and Michelle.

David Zabel

Are you in the US? I’ve never waited even half that long for anything at any drug store, other than to get a booster shot or something.

REDR58

I'm assuming after recording this you guys noticed there is American Reunion which is the final movie of American Pie(excluding the Band Camp and those others as they only have Eugene Levy returning from the main cast of the original movies)

Guillermo Antonio Ricci Alvarez

I don’t think I’ve ever waited more than 1-2 minutes for anything at any pharmacy? I don’t take any medications (despite my age, whatever that is) but I do pick up prescriptions for my parents sometimes and most of the waiting comes simply from standing in line with other customers in front of me. Also, all of the prescriptions my parents need come from the pharmacy at the local grocery store and their order is called in or renewed by their doctors and they say it will be ready by whatever time /day and then I just go over and get it that day. Plus, the grocery store has (2 separate) apps that I can use to place and pick up a food or drug order. I haven’t been to pick up medications at a stand alone drug store (CVS, Rite-Aid) in ages, other than to pick up a Covid test or something that was out of stock at the grocery store. Any non-prescription/over the counter drugs are just hanging on racks or on shelves, for both the grocery store or standalone places. I still do get carded with certain OTC medications but they card people to buy spray paint at hardware stores too, so whatever.

REDR58

I literally was asked to wait to the side after standing in line for 20 min to get a box of over the counter Sudafed. It took another 10 min for a pharmacist to give me a box. And no I wasn't making meth.

AC10

George!!! I can answer this!!!! Because they get paid by the hour.... And they don't give a fu&#!!! A combination of the two. That happens here in the USA also.

AC10

George: "Patreon... Any of you guys pharmacist??" What the hell is happening!?!? 😮😮😮 LOL!!! George is talking about measuring medicine in a jar while Simone is holding a jar of presumably alcohol and quickly sets it down... Hehehe

AC10

We're going to corrupt Simone so bad she may become a nun.

AC10

Oh dear God...

Movíe runtime?

Monica Alarcon

I definitely heard "thrush grape"

Ashton Lewis

Heck yes!!!!!!! I actually love this movie ( I love all the American Pie movies ) so I’m looking forward to watching you two react to it. I will definitely be watching the uncovered version though, I’m really enjoying those versions.

FWPJR.

About your question George: in pharmacies in my country, you do get the pre-packaged med boxes in a matter of seconds or couple minutes when it's your turn to get served. However, hospitals and clinics usually have their own pharmacies intra-muros. Also, people go there in person without pre-order. Unless they need a very specific prescription requiring a specific order.
