2025-06-12 01:09:05 +0000 UTCThis is regarded as middle-of-the-pack when it comes to the original films, so I'm glad to see you both so excited and engrossed. There's a lot of jokes about the "Odd-Even Rule" when it comes to the Star Trek films, so that means fans often find excuses to pick at this one in order to fit the meme. People often talk about how "Of COURSE Spock comes back" in this movie as though his death was a gimmick, but originally his death was supposed to be permanent when they were making The Wrath of Khan. It was only towards the end of production that they had the idea of bringing him back , since it was only after his great experience on-set that Nimoy even considered returning to the role at all.

Star Trekkin' is a novelty song by the British band the Firm. Star Trekkin' parodies the original Star Trek TV series and the TOS characters. The music video is complete chaos and hilarious insanity. It would make for such a weird but funny reaction.
