The penguins didn’t try to take the ship back to New York because it had run out of fuel in the first movie. The ring on the old lady‘s (Nana) cell phone sounded like a wired rotary phone and not a dial tone sound! “Bronson” and “George Peppard” are references to action movie star Charles Bronson (who I think George is familiar with) and Peppard who was in Breakfast at Tiffany’s and was probably just as famous for starring in the action TV show “The A-Team” in the 1980s. George definitely let’s watch Black Panther 2 here! “Fosse and Robbins” is a reference to Bob Fosse and Jerome Robbins who famous dancers and choreographers. Fosse directed the movie “All That Jazz” (1979) which was semi-biographical and starred Roy Scheider (from Jaws). George, zebra skin is black and the white and black coloration of their fur is determined from melanocyte cells in the follicles: https://www.britannica.com/story/are-zebras-white-with-black-stripes-or-black-with-white-stripes “Dam busters” is probably a reference to the 1955 British movie “The Dam Busters” which is based on a WW2 operation by the British.

2025-06-09 05:31:49 +0000 UTCA very bizarre animated movie that has a similar animation style to “Heavy Metal” (1981) is “Gandahar” (a.k.a. Light Years) (1988) which is available on Amazon Prime. The English dub features Glenn Close, Bridget Fonda and Christopher Plummer. It’s weird, but interesting.

And its not a "well of some have them, why can't they all" or "since some don't have them, why do any of them have to have them" sort of thing. I'm good either way. Strictly just curious. Is it just if you feel it's needed like with heavy accents, too loud or too quiet, so case by case?
