I wonder if Bridge on the River Kwai is on this list because it's mentioned in The Wire.

2025-05-30 05:20:54 +0000 UTCDefinitely, with Night of the Living Dead winning, you should react to the 1978 Dawn of the Dead and the 1985 Day of the Dead for its 40th anniversary. The 1990 remake of Night of the Living Dead is one of the best remakes out there. Also, you can follow it up with a reaction to Return of the Living Dead for it's 40th anniversary. Return of the Living Dead actually uses Night of the Living Dead as part of its backstory. It's also one of the best horror movies and one of the best zombie movies around.

2025-05-29 12:16:01 +0000 UTCOne day, and this day may never come, Mary Poppins will be watched. :D And then "Saving Mr. Banks", the movie about the making of Mary Poppins and then "Mary Poppins Returns".

2025-05-29 10:13:45 +0000 UTCVeo3 looks like a ridiculous advancement. We should crowdfund a subscription price and make a very meta horror movie about a man and woman who watch movies while people watch them watching movies, being stalked by a creepy obsessed patreon fan mad that their movie never wins a poll. They could be chased all over a beautiful scenic location -- someplace like maybe Vancouver, Canada -- until the woman finally gets fed up and KOs the creep with a surprise android night punch. Then for bonus meta points, in the end they realize that they are in a movie themselves. Either that, or we could create something with talking cartoon animals.

2025-05-28 00:15:12 +0000 UTCGot around to watching a couple of movies I've had on my watch list thanks to fellow Patreon subscribers, so I'm gonna also add in my vote for them and a couple others! - Sneakers (Think kind of like WarGames, but more sophisticated!) - Inside Man (A Spike Lee directed bank robbery film with a terrific cast!) - Triangle (This movie is just a mind fuck. I have nothing else to say about it.) - Incendies (Another Denis Villeneuve masterpiece. Really nothing else to say about this one either.) - The 2024 Watchmen Chapter I + Chapter II (An animated adaptation of Watchmen, that while I still haven't read the comics, appears to be more true to them and adds so much insight to the universe that Snyder's cut didn't!) Oh also, a couple stoner comedies you guys have got to get around to doing in the future! - Smiley Face - Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back Oh, and how could I forget... one of my favorite movies of all time: Paris, Texas
