The Waterboy - Uncovered Version

Comments

Speaking of ER, you guys should do The Pitt. Its amazing! And it would probably test if Simone could work in an ER 😁

The Real Andrew Kim

Deuce Bigelow starring Rob Schneider

Charles Brackett

This was a favorite of mine growing up. Also parts of it were filmed in Florida, and some of the practice sessions were apparently filmed at my HS so that's kind of neat to be like "i used to do stadium runs on those steps all the time!"

Jay Willis

Regarding “a hero or a goat.” Back in the day, a “goat” was a term of ridicule. If you watch old Charlie Brown cartoons you’ll hear it a lot. A goat was someone who screwed up in a spectacular way at a crucial moment and thus could be blamed for losing a game (no nevermind to the fact that they weren’t necessarily to blame for the circumstance existing in the first place).

Matthew Abbott

“I do know one thing about football; a touchdown is worth 7 points” Oh, honey…

Matthew Abbott

I love this formats but yes it would be better if all were just like in "History of the world part I" the movie was on the whole screen and Simone&George on each side of the screen that was in my opinion just perfect

Just have to say, I had a job where we sold rolled up posters. When they were being swapped out for new ones, we had to destroy the old ones...by taking a box cutter and cutting the rolled poster from end to end, shredding multiple layers and making it unusable (I hate corpo nonsense waste like this). One day I was tired...and my finger was where the box cutter was gunna be (ring finger, left hand) and I now have a wonderful scar from the corner of my fingertip cuticle, in a crescent around to the inside of the first knuckle. Didn't hurt, but my co worker got more scared than I'd ever seen him before as I calmly asked where I should go to stop bleeding on everything. P.S. Love the new format, you guys are awesome! :D

I know you’re trying out different formats and layovers for these new videos. I don’t really care for this one with the movie being so small.

BigGuy209

I wonder if Kathy Bates has trouble sitting down. She definitely acted her ass off in this movie. (I’ll see myself out now) 👋🏻

Jared Winn

Before the movie an episode of Cinebinge……George- his a re-hydro maniac! Simone- A what!? Did you just made that up!? 😂😂

FranciscoGios

I'd vote Funny People for the next Adam Sandler movie.

Polecat21

Bobby’s dad showing up at the end is very common in real life. A lot of times athletes say their dads leave early. Then show up when they become famous and expect money.

Kenny Shoulders

You HAVE to get George to watch "The Craft" :) The best easter egg / ironic clip is at the football camp. LT (Lawrence Taylor, a real footbal player) had gotten arrested in 1996, 2 years before this movie, for purchasing crack. So it was a joke. Then he got arrested again for the same thing in 1998 in late November. This movie had been out for almost 3 weeks. So the joke became reality. Again.

Phyllis Diller, the comedian, said she used to soak her hair in beer. She stopped because she kept cutting her neck on the lip of the can.

Skyruff

Considering Adam and Chris Farley were best friends so i have no doubt it was a nod to Chris's legendary skit.

While watching this movie I was wondering which would be recommended more by the patreons in the comments; The Longest Yard or Hot Chick.

Steve kephart

Hero or goat as in scapegoat. The one blamed for it all.

Jonathan Eaton

Enjoyed the reaction. Adam Sandler’s “The Longest Yard” is a remake of the original starring Burt Reynolds. Both are good and worth a watch. Also “Friday Night Lights” . More serious movie, but a football classic. And a vote for “The Replacements” starring Keanu Reeves and the late Gene Hackman. If you want to see some more American football movies. Hope the new uncovered versions are working out for you.
