Not a fan of this post. Not against QC fan-porn but Jeph's settled this ages ago and the answer is "none of your damn business".

Just because of this comic I looked up Questionable Content on Rule 34, where I found a full-frontal of Claire. I won't spill any beans but it settles the question of did she or not.

I think it reflects the internet-fame that is familiar to Jeph. Streamers, youtubers, influencers, activists and others can all gain a narrow kind of global fame.
Also the world is small. I grew up in a tiny town in Maine. I moved around a lot, everywhere I lived, there were people with a connection to the tiny state, usually family. Now I'm back in Maine, and meeting people with ties to all the places I used to live.

This gets back to Marten's immediate friend group turning into a very influential and powerful association on a global scale.
Hannelore, her parents, and Station.
Faye and Bubbles are turning into a political center for AI rights.
Roko and Yay are going to be part of that too.
Sven connects to the music scene.
Marten's mother is pretty famous.
Aurelia the streamer.
Several others, too, including Anh the influencer and Emily the ditzy genius...
