Rerouting

I mean, yes,

Rerouting

Comments

I don't know what relationship I'm rooting for more to happen, Roko/Yay or Pintsize/Moray where it turns out pintsize is being earnest but doesn't know how to do it appropriately.

Mark

For all we know, Yay already has a body in Cubetown. How long was Liz in frame before anyone noticed her?

Zygo

I like how everything Yay does has a plausibly deniable second objective, but Roko anticipates both and neutralizes the deniability. "Yeah yeah Yay, you are aware of and care about my mental health, and it's plausible that you picked up Crushbot audibly as well as electronically, but also we both know there was never any chance you were going to walk in through the front door. Do you want the hairpin my hairstyle doesn't require so you can pick the locks on the back door, or not?"

Zygo

Nice callback to https://questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=3973 😜

Watson

A mysterious, multiply-embodied, astonishingly powerful intelligence, and Roko sees right through them. We love it.

Ursus Ridens

I think you may have come along after it was fixed, because I was also on a PC browser (Firefox on Windows) at the time, and now it's not doing it anymore. So hurrah for the code monkeys at Patreon, they seem to have cleared it up.

JCfromNC

I'm on the browser on a PC and don't have this issue.

Adam Standridge

It seems to be fixed.

Joseph Bonnar

I'm not getting that response on hitting "like". Then again I'm on a browser on my laptop. This is not encouraging me to use my phone (& browser) for Patreon.

ValdVin

a Blazing Saddles callout was the last thing I expected today or in this place. thank you.

Joe

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, friend. I think it suits them perfectly. What do you think would suit them better? I want to see them in an a-line sundress.

Orion Rhine

Yay, love the top. not keen on the baggy pants. doesn't seem to suit you.

Joe

Looking at the comic again, what you suggest would seem to be within the realms of plausibility. Crushbot is very tall.

alphanor

Is it the same look as Iris was doing at the party?

David Durant

I don't think he would need to get very far off the ground. We don't know Crushbot's height exactly, but he is a foot or two taller than Bubbles while he's sitting down, which means when standing he could easily have four or five feet on Roko. Just falling over backwards while she was close behind him would be all it takes.

BookBeard

Just noticed Yay's new hairstyle, and I love it! And not just because it's the exact hairdo I'm growing my own hair out into, either - it suits them, too. 😁

Taellosse

I have never understood how Crushbot slipping(?) on a crate of bananas could have projected him high enough in the air to land on Roko?!? How do you get a couple of tons of robot that high in such a short time and over such a short distance? Sorry if I'm missing something important.

alphanor

As someone who was looking forward to a Roku/Crushbot interaction, Yay using it as an excuse to sneak in the back way feels way more in character.

Darius Jenai

I'm having none of these first world problems

Not that Patrick Foltz

What you did there, I see it.

Sorastro

Or....or.... Hear me out. Love blooms.

Sorastro

I was going to say something about a "strip-off" but instead I'll just get my coat...

David Durant

Already fixed

David Durant

You wouldn't punderstand.

BobC

Whut in the Wide Wide World of Sports is goin' on here?

Hugh Eckert

Love that strip...

Hugh Eckert

Yesss, Preciouss, plotzessss...

Hugh Eckert

I can't see the plotz from my Porsche

dcy665 .

Ditto here. It is discouraging me from reading the comments or hitting Like.

SilverbackRon

I'm having the same problem.

jonesnori

I know Roko plays it off as Yay looking for an excuse to sneak in, but I love that they are showing concern for Roko, even if it might be only half-genuine.

Matt Pedone

Yup, to no surprise Patreon is broken again. Grudgingly I have to admit that the new-comments-at-the-top layout is really rather good but the site has a long history of going wrong - albeit not often for very long. I'm sure they'll fix this.

David Durant

Also getting this happening for a day or so, in Firefox on a Macbook.

Sean Kinlin

I’m using Safari on my iPad, and it hasn’t done this to me. (Yet.)

Nancie

One day I'll beat Bookbeard to linking a strip. But not this day.

Pete

I mean, sneaking in is the best after all.

Doc Gumby

Wow that's a ways back at this point. I forget how much stuff happens.

Randall Norman Pick

Using the app on android, no glitches... Come to the dark side 🍪🍪

Brenda Allen

I absolutely love the idea of Yay sounding like Elim. It fits perfectly. 💕

Carrie

Yes! I think so too!

Carrie

They don't even have to do that, Davus Otho. It seems like they can run at least 5 at any one time, and have a minimum of 7 (although apparently "there's like at least 8 or 9 of the fuckers"): https://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=3418 https://imgur.com/zjXef1Z

David Paul

Pintsize still heard it. When it comes to innuendo, his hearing is impeccable (even if he does have to make it up himself sometimes).

David Paul

Good point! What's the point of having all those bodies if not for something like this.

Clifton Royston

FWIW it's not doing any of this weird stuff for me, on Firefox. But also I tend to leave all Javascript disabled with Noscript except for the bare minimum needed to make sites work.

Clifton Royston

And that's how I'll hear it from now on.

Peter Jensen

Double Trouble from She-Ra :)

Stephen Wells

I love Yay's raver pants

djellafine

I had been wondering what would come of this, we knew Roko and Yay were on the way, so I was wondering if something about Crushbot was going to come up. ~<3

Mitsuki Ayane

seconded. ~<3

Mitsuki Ayane

FWIW Roko's new body looks very similar to her old, intentionally so. Just adds a butt logo.

Pejo

omg this works so well

Pejo

This is happening to me as well, but it only just started recently. Let's not immediately ascribe maliciousness where there may just be error..

Amanda L

We're getting to some mighty slim plickens here...

BobC

That would be almost incredibly stupid, William. So I'd rate it as being at LEAST a strong possibility.

Joseph Bonnar

Well, the app (on iOS at least), has its own suite of annoying glitches, too. Maybe they're trying to get people to stop using Patreon altogether?

William Cole

I sort of understood the "jump to the top" thing when I posted my comment, since they're sorted by newest first. But doing it every time I like a comment is just as annoying as it can be.

JCfromNC

EXACTLY!

William Cole

Moments later... https://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=2126

BookBeard

God... I have fallen into the Questionable Content hole... tell my family I love them.

Shawn K. Younkin

Probably not, Miyaa.

Joseph Bonnar

I've got the same problem. The same when I respond to a comment or make a new one. This is on a browser, not the app, and I wonder if it's intended to "annoy" people into using the app.

Joseph Bonnar

Yay Doesn't Actually Have to move. They could just have a body at cube town and a body in northampton, and then switch between the two. (aka put one in sleep mode)

Davus Otho

For Yay, absolutely. Yay would fit in so well in Cubetown, they should really consider it. (But Roko is unlikely to want to move, and Yay is clearly not going anywhere without Roko.)

Clifton Royston

Okay, this is weird and annoying -- every time I "like" a post, it jumps back up to the top of the page, which is pretty problematic for something with as many likable posts as this.

JCfromNC

Meanwhile, the thought plickens.

Clifton Royston

You know, kinda

Bagge

Yay is doing GREAT at being normal

Bagge

Flour plotz?

BobC

There’s like a “I’m Sorry I Haven’t a Clue” joke about Lionel Blair in there somewhere.

Miyaa

Nice to see Yay looking out for Roko.

Thisguy

I can't here my plotz when I'm with you

Thomas Baxter

Is there enough time to make out my last will and testament?

Miyaa

That's the impression that you get?

BookBeard

Maybe you shouldn’t add that much flour to the plots.

Miyaa

Once again I am disappointed in my 7th grade grammar and English teacher who would only wear roller skates to class in the Spring and Fall season. (Yes she was properly dressed otherwise.) She never taught us about loath/loathe!

Miyaa

Yay strikes me as someone whom Imagine Dragons are their favorite band.

Miyaa

The plotz thickens...

BobC

Yay looks like me on my way to see The Mighty Mighty BossToneS in 1995

Not that Patrick Foltz

https://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=3900

BookBeard

Can someone post the link for the Roko crushing incident? Thanks!

Norris Preyer

I think I like Yay even more each time I see them.

Yelling Bird

Metal Gear Solid State

Creeperkry

That's it! I couldn't quite figure it out but yes!

Not that Patrick Foltz

Yay is clearly a back door bot

Not that Patrick Foltz

Post of the year

Not that Patrick Foltz

CRUSHBOT HAS BEEN DENIED CRUSHBOT'S OPPORTUNITY TO APOLOGIZE FOR BANANA CRATE INCIDENT. CRUSHBOT'S HOPE FOR CATHARTIC DISCHARGE OF REPRESSED GUILT HAS BEEN CRUSHED. CRUSHBOT CAN ONCE AGAIN APPRECIATE THE IRONY.

BookBeard

Securitybot is going to catch Yay trying to shimmy in a bathroom window. Yay will be put in the same penalty box as Pintsize. The Age of Man ends shortly thereafter.

William Cole

Yay being protective and thoughtful like this is sweet :) also are they getting hotter? Their hair looks great

Chelsea

So either Yay has forgotten about that, isn't considering it, or just REALLY wants to use the back door. :)

Joseph Bonnar

Wait, lemme think a bit. Roko got a new body after her little Crushbot incident, didn't she? So WOULD Crushbot know her now? ESPECIALLY since the last time he saw Roko she would have been 12 feet in diameter and 3 inches thick.

Joseph Bonnar

This isn't going to end well, is it? :)

Joseph Bonnar

TIL

Shinymelon Fearnow

He used to be a gardner.

Daryl Sawyer

Yay is, in their own way, being very protective of Roko and her emotional state, and I could not love them more.

Populuxe

I wasn't always a tailor, you know.

Sorastro

Yes I believe they are

maninblack

Loath should not have an e in this context! Loathe only gets an e when it's an active verb. If you ARE loath, there's no e. Fun grammar facts with Emi, wee

Emirenaexo

Yay: "We shall be taking the back entrance." Okay, but use plenty of NLG#1

Todd Ellner

While I don’t have a specific voice in mind, I totally hear Yay’s speaking cadence being similar to Garak’s from DS9.

Taigan

I initially read Plotzes as it were smeaghol saying plotting....

Matthew DeVries

All I can say is thank goodness Yay didn't say "taking the back entrance" in front of Pintsize.

Adam Friedlander

I wish real VIPs worked that way. Yay is so adorably mischievous, affectionate toward Roko, and weirdly creative in their imagination.

Andrea Andrew

Stage entrance: For Performers Only

Andrew

"The rabble prefers to rouse amidst itself" is absolutely something I would say and now I really hope I get the chance to use that phrase someday

Ashbury Haight

Aww, was hoping Roko would go with the abridged black dress.

Miyaa

Yay wants to show off so bad and roko is not having it. Which I think, is why yay likes them so much.

Tannerbot

Every excuse is valid for Yay

Raymond Tremblay

Taking the back entrance, Yay? Okay, but remember: Stage door Johnnies aren't ragIng over you with gems and roses.

ValdVin

Honestly surprised Yay didn't go heavier on the rave gear

Elberik
