I cannot do full length reaction videos for every single series (due to the prolonged time it takes to edit and process them). Since this series has started off with some slower episodes (and I'm doing full length reviews of Watchmen, The Mandalorian, and more in December), for now, I won't be doing hour long videos for HDM. However, that could potentially change, if there are enough people who are interested. Hope you enjoy everyone!

Lyra acts a little more mature than the Lyra of the books, I guess a bit more settled. The only character I feel has been terribly miscast is John Faa, he's supposed to be a big imposing fellow, and this actor isn't that. I guess he is fierce enough but I don't get enough presence from him and Farder Coram overshadows him. I do like how they are incorporating some book 2 elements so we'll be well prepared when we get there.
