Penny Dreadful Season 1 Episode 3 Full Review and Reaction!

Same. Heating pad is my security blanket when I'm in pain or struggling through something <3 When I watched PD for the first time I remember being completely intrigued by everything each of these characters were doing. The dialogue and visuals in this series are both so gorgeous!!

Hahaha awesome! Well, I am happy to do cozy bed reactions for PD if everyone here is up for it! It definitely is considerably more comfortable (even with the risk of cats appearing at any moment). Also, my heating pad is my lifeline when I don't feel well! I was really impressed by Rory Kinnear this episode! I'm excited to see where things will go with his character. I also think that the dynamic between him and Frankenstein is going to be considerably more interesting than the one that would've existed with Frankenstein and Proteus (RIP). So, the twist at the end of episode two and the use of Proteus in the first couple episodes is really paying off already, in my opinion. I do understand Malcolm's impulse regarding Vanessa here. Additionally, even the Egyptologist from the museum that Malcolm consulted with said it would probably be best not to tell Vanessa what they'd uncovered - and he didn't have the additional motivation of trying to save his daughter! All that being said, I honestly feel as though Vanessa would've agreed to be "bait," if she had known the truth. But maybe Malcolm wasn't so certain about that. Not sure. Regardless, it's clear that both of them are willing to go very far in their efforts to save Mina! Hopefully, Ethan can handle it - because he seems to be having a hard time with their choices so far!

It's like the idea was right there on the surface of my mind struggling to get out for a couple minutes! lol

I'm not confirming or denying, I only say that because that was the exact reaction during that whole thing lol Can we do all PD reactions in this setting? Because thats totally me watching PD :) I even have the black fuzzy prop pillow, soda and heating pad ❤ Rory Kinnear is so amazing in this role!! Regarding Malcolm, we have to remember our core cast have all made it clear that thet have their own personal motives for being thre. When they all took that oath to trust one another that's the moment it changes from "I'm in this for my own motives" to "okay, we're in this together" and then Malcolm does come clean to Vanessa. That being said we know all these characters are capable of betrayal. Plenty more suprises in store. I love you're doing this show. Thanks xox 💜
