I got a moth orchid about 2 months ago that I’ve managed to keep alive so far. I love the way the flowers look

My mom is very into plants, so I've found a lot of houseplants second-hand haha. I have a couple African violets and Christmas cacti, and after repotting they started to bloom for months at a time (so they've been fun to watch!). The Boston fern might be my favorite, but it's always shedding leaves (my cat snacks on it). Inch plants/tradescantia are low maintenance, and there are so many colors! Air plants are fun too, but I've lost some from over/under-watering lol

There is always putting a sheet over your head and going as a ghost. But remember to cut the holes out for eyes, or it looks sus. Plus you can't see.

I made you guys the hats. I will make you crochet plants not for $1000 😹 you just gotta give me a little time to get them done but they're on my list now. So keep your eyes on the PO Box.

I especially love Raven ZZ plants! A very spooky plant. Another spooky (and pretty uncommon) one is the Devil’s Backbone! It is so low maintenance and so nice. I also love my Fatsia japonica because it feels like an indoor maple tree and has been unkillable so far. My last recommendation is the purple oxalis because they let you know when to water them and it is fun to watch them open and close!

I need some Halloween costume inspiration in the worst way! It’s so hard being in that 28 year old gap to find costumes. I’m going to hit the thrift store today, fingers crossed I find costume gold 👻

As a lover of all things plants, crafts and spooky...perfect intro.
And, as a person who once tried selling on Etsy, fuck that place. Go to local craft fairs/vendor fairs. Especially if you are looking for crochet things, fairs always have lots of those booths.
Pothos, ZZ plant and Red Aglaonema are my my favorites that have similar needs to Monsteras. Your aerial root on your monstera can go in water and it will turn your leaves extra green but you gotta change that water often. You could also let her fuck with your other plant, direct it towards that soil and see what baby they make.
The main reason to not group your plants together is because of one plant get a diseases, they all do. But you do what you need to do. I too go by Nat's philosophy with plants, thrive or die bitches. I cuss at my plants, shake them when they look too still and overall abuse them the way a mother needs to.
