IT’S TIME FOR INKTOBER AKA HAUNTOBER AND HERE IS YOUR PROMPT!!! This year, we’re expanding past creatures from our episodes and including concepts from listener stories and beyond! If you choose to participate in Hauntober, don’t forget to tag us in your creations so we can repost! We had so much fun looking at all your art last year on the Season Finale, so let’s do it again!

What is "Inktober"?

Inktober is a global art challenge that involves creating a new drawing every day in October. The challenge was created by artist Jake Parker in 2009 and has since expanded into a worldwide phenomenon, with people creating their own versions of the prompt each year.

How do I participate?

Look at the infographic above. Each number represents one day in October (e.g. 1 is October 1st, 2 is October 2nd, 3 is October 3rd, etc.). Each number has a phrase or topic next to it. This phrase is your writing prompt for the day! You can create any art you want inspired by that topic using any medium you want. Then, post your creations to social media and don't forget to tag us so we can repost your art! You can also e-mail us your art at LetsGetHauntedPod@gmail.com with the subject line "Hauntober / Inktober Submission".

What if I'm a couple days late posting the art for the day?

That's totally fine! Hauntober is all about having fun and drawing images from iconic LGH episodes. Take your time and when your art is ready, post it and we'll repost it and even feature it in our Season 6 Finale episode at the end of the year!
