Release of update v0.50

Even a little ahead of schedule, the release of v0.50 is here!

Content

The new content in this update is an expansion on the Mage-story. The story picks up right after Sarah leaves Bagrad, after her decisions to betray her mentor Xan.

This update is part of a special 2-parter called "The Hollow World", which dives deeper into the world in which TSSR takes places. The other half of this 2-parter will feature in the next expansion of the Warrior-story.

How do you get to the new content?

Simple! Play through the Mage-story, through Bagrad, and betray Xan. Everything after that point will be new content which you are free to play/explore at your own pace.

I feel happy with how this update turned out, and I hope that you will all have fun exploring the new content in this update!

Looking Ahead

So, what's next after this?

As per usual, I'll get back to you all with an post next week on what the next update will feature. Right now, it's actually a balancing act between what I will update, but I should be able to give a definitive answer to you all by next week.

What I can guarantee is that I will be able to push out the next update by August/next month. The exact date, of course, is still too early to tell, but I feel very confident that I will manage August.

Special Shoutout

In addition to all the new content, you might also notice some improved grammar in this update. I've talked before about how proofreading is sadly one of those things I can't prioritize in order to keep a solid production pace.

This means that when supporters take the time to voluntarily point out mistakes, it's all the more valuable to me because it lets me continue to improve the quality of the writing while also pushing out new content.

With all that said, I wanted to offer up a special thanks to Nes from the Discord who really went above any beyond in offering up possible improvements. Credit where credit is due!
