51)Perfection? Not For Me: Ch.51

A grunt escaped my lips as Glorio threw a high kick, pushing his leg away while leaning back as he swung his other leg around. Ducking down and hopping to the side as he kicked down, I punched right as he shot, dispersing the blast outwards.

“Huh, destroyed my arm. Not bad,” I murmured as I stared at the mangled bubblegum-pink flesh, easily reattaching and twisting it back together as Glorio lowered his cannon.

“Yes, but you're not using Kaio-Ken so it doesn't matter.”

“Yeah, but most people aren't able to take me on whether I use it so you're still doing a good job,” I spoke with a smile as he ruffled his hair, chuckling at his grumbles before looking over to where Panzy was busy lifting her…is that a cannon?

“Wait, was she making a cannon for you? Like an actual cannon?”, I asked as I looked to Glorio, who shook his head before I turned right as she fired it into the sky.

Watching as the blast kept on sailing, I quickly appeared in front of it before it could leave the atmosphere, a Death Beam piercing through the blast and making it explode prematurely.

“Panzy,” I began as I appeared beside her with a raised eyebrow.

“Yes?”

“Why do you have a nuke?”

“Oh, remember how I wanted to see if I could make a gun that could pierce anything?”

“And that's it?”

“Nope! This is just a prototype!”, She said as she dropped it with a groan, a ki barrier shooting from my hand and enveloping the cannon just as it exploded with a deafening boom.

“It lasts one blast?”

“And explodes because the energy core I use is far too unstable. I've asked Mom to help, but she and Shiar are busy with something else so I was stuck on my own.”

“And Shin?”, I asked, looking at where she was pointing only to smile as I saw the Supreme Kai in question along with the Old Kai and Kibito peeking out from the tree.

“Did…did it work?”

“No, it still exploded.”

“Ah…I suppose that means back to the drawing board,” I heard him mutter, realizing why Panzy and the godly trio have been missing for the past month since the Kai meeting.

After the Old Kai and I had returned from the meeting, it had been nothing but creating planets, training with Glorio, hanging out with Panzy and spending some wondrous time with my wives.

'I'll never get used to saying that. My wives…Man, I got lucky,' A little under five years ago, I was barely as strong as Post-Namek Saga Goku and now I believe I am in the top 20 strongest beings in the multiverse.

Oh, how times can change.

“Well, do you need some help with the cannon? I have the free time.”

“Really?”, She asked excitedly, cheering as I nodded with a smile while crouching down. Snapping my fingers, the ki bubble floated closer before the debris in it began to burn until only the core remained, though it was a bit cracked when I floated it closer.

“See how it's cracked? The moment you activated the cannon and inject it with the spark you need to activate it, that overloads the crystal because it's not a stable material to use on its own. Think of it like you using a Join Bug except you eat it whole and expect there to be a different result.”

“So…what you're saying is that I need to find a second type of reactive core that will meld well together with the first core and create the reaction that I need?”

“That along with maybe making it a pistol instead of a cannon. If you do that, you'll have your own Infinity Ray.”

“…Cool! I'll go and get started on it right now! Thank you, Dad!”, She said as she took the core and gave me a quick peck on the cheek, to which I smiled as I created a clone to keep both ki barriers around the core and the cannon active.

After all, I may have taught her how to unlock her ki, but I don't think she's strong enough to suppress an explosion powerful enough to decimate a planet.

“Do you think it's a good idea to give her a gun that can shoot through anything?”

“Not in the slightest, but it's either that or let her explode into bits when she tries to figure it out on her own. At least this way, I can make sure she doesn't die the second she turns it on,” I said with a smile, chuckling as Glorio shook his head before feeling out for Towa and Shiar's energy.

I was a bit confused at why they were on the other side of the planet before I vanished, reappearing beside them right in time to see Towa giggling while Shiar looked a bit nervous.

“I really don't think we should be doing this.”

“Oh, quiet you. Besides, do you understand how excited he would be if we did this and surprised him with it?”

“That or I could be quite angry if you did something I didn't want to happen,” I answered as I crouched beside them, raising an eyebrow at the holographic image of Earth in front of them while Shiar squeaked as Towa yelped.

“Huh, didn't expect you to make that cute noise. Maybe I should scare you more.”

“You do that and I'll chop your dick off.”

“I'll just regrow it. So, why are we looking at Earth?”

“Towa, you still there?”, I blinked as I heard Bulma's voice, slowly looking at the hologram and then at Towa who didn't say anything.

“Hey, Bulma. It's Cuu. What are you and my wives planning?”

“Oh, nothing much. You don't have to worry about it.”

“That just makes me worry about it more. You sure I shouldn't know?”

“If you wanna know, ask them and not me. I know nothing,” The bluenette answered from the other line and I looked at the godly duo at my sides, to which Towa looked away with a teasing smile while Shiar gave an apologetic smile as she shook her head.

“Huh, looks like I won't hear after all. Anyway, how has that husband of yours been?”

“Oh, don't remind me of that idiot. Since you took him and Goku with you, it's been a weekly occurrence for the two of them to vanish on the weekends and return on Monday.”

“Let me guess, Chichi's not happy with it?”

“You kidding me? Considering I'm paying Goku because I'm grateful he's keeping Vegeta busy on the weekends and paying her since she's babysitting Trunks and Bulla for me to let me do my inventing in peace, she's doing fantastic. They've even bought the mansion right next to ours so she's closer and so that I can go check up on them when I take a break.”

'Huh, that's…that's a lot different compared to how their lives were in Super. I guess the Goku of this universe is a lot smarter than the one from the anime.'

“I'm glad to hear they're doing okay.”

“Yea-Oh, right. I almost forgot. Whis said that he wanted to see you for something about Lord Beerus and a Lord Champa guy. He said he would tell you through your Telepathy thing, but he wanted to see your reaction in person. Who is this Champa guy anyway?”

“That would be Lord Beerus' twin brother,” I answered, chuckling at the clatter that was most likely her falling over in shock before standing up.

“Well, I'll leave you to my wives since they seem to be planning something that I can't know about.”

“Of course you can't, but I will say that you will love it. You like surprises, right?”, Towa asked with a smirk and I nodded as I rolled my neck.

“Yes, but nothing too extravagant. Otherwise, I might just start attacking people out of reflex.”

“Good. Before you go,”

“Hmm?”, I asked as I turned around before blinking as she hopped into my arms, Towa capturing my lips in a searing kiss while I held her bountiful ass in my hands.

“Mwah! Have fun~~”, She said with a teasing smile as she hopped down, to which I nodded before smiling as Shiar stood beside me with an expectant look.

Leaning down, I tilted her chin upwards before laying a soft kiss on her lips, letting my divine ki flow through my lips and into her body before pulling back slowly with a chuckle as she let out a throaty moan.

“I'll see you ladies when I get back.”

“Good, we still have to consummate the marriage and all that,” Towa waved with a smile and I chuckled before vanishing, reappearing beside the Old Kai who jumped while holding a hand to his chest.

“Must you do that all the time?”

“And scare you like that? Always. Anyway, I'm heading off to Beerus. Anyone want to come with?”

Me! Me! I wanna meet him!”, Panzy said excitedly as she walked over and I held my hand out, sending my consciousness outwards and locking onto Beerus' ki instantly.

“Kai-Kai,” With a thought, Panzy and I reappeared beside Beerus in a mere moment, the god of Destruction simply turning his head to me before looking back at where Goku and Vegeta were sparring in their God forms.

“I see you got Whis' message.”

“I did. Also, this is my daughter Panzy. Panzy, this is the god of Destruction Beerus, but Lord Beerus is more what he likes.”

“Huh, he looks like the Germanderie's race,” Panzy murmured and I raised an eyebrow as Beerus scoffed.

“I am from their race, but unlike them, I'm from the more powerful variants that existed over one billion years ago.”

“Okay, how old are you?”

“I am one of the oldest beings in existence. Do with that information as you wish.”

“And yet you're not strong enough to beat me with one hand tied behind your back?”, I asked with a raised eyebrow and he simply looked amused at my question.

“Have you ever slept for a few hours too long that your body feels weak and it takes a while for it to wake up? Think that, but it takes years for me to fully wake up and unleash the true force of my power.”

“So, what you're saying is even when you're not trying, you're still holding back.”

“Yes, but I will admit that you are right now you are but a step short of my true power.”

“Oh, hello, Lord Cuu.”

“Hey, Lord Whis. How have you been?”, I asked with a smile as the angel appeared beside me, Panzy waving with a smile as she walked over to where the Oracle was floating around.

“It has been quite the pleasant time, though I distinctly remember you promising me an All-I-Could-Eat Ramen buffet in exchange for my training, yes?”

“Uh-huh, and I took you to five of them, did I not?”

“Without me?”, Beerus asked with a frown, to which I shrugged as Whis gave a sly giggle.

“I suppose you did. Very well, I'll allow Lord Beerus to explain the exciting news while I see whether or not Goku and Vegeta are still keeping the same tempo.”

“You can do that from here and you know it,” Beerus said with a frown, but Whis seemed to be ignoring him as he floated away while I turned to Beerus as he huffed.

“So, what is this exciting news?”

“Champa and I are having a tournament. A five on five tournament like the ones from Earth and the winner gets two prizes.”

“Custody over Earth is one, I'm assuming?”

“Yes, the winner gets Earth and the second prize are orbs he says are Super Dragon Balls.”

“What makes them Super?”, I asked, already knowing the answer as Beerus scoffed while crossing his arms.

“Supposedly, they're the size of planets and considering that the wishes get more powerful the larger the orbs are, Champa believes they can grant any wish in existence.”

“Well, that's quite the prize, but it also confuses me. If our universes are twins of each other, should we not have our own pair? And if we don't and we know that Namekians are more prevalent in Universe 6 and 7, doesn't that mean that the seven orbs are scattered across our two universes and that he came into our universe to steal our share?”

“So, what you're saying is that Champa found three of the seven balls in his universe, trespassed into ours to get the other three and is now struggling to find the seventh one?”, Beerus spoke with a frown and I could feel the raging destruction oozing from his body as I released my own ki to quell his for a bit.

“That is what I'm saying, but let's not get angry. After all, instead of doing something yourself, you can show him up by showing how much more powerful Goku and the others are.”

“Oh, that is true. Yes, with your training, they will show him just how strong my universe is in comparison to his.”

“Our universe. Also, how many planets have you destroyed since you woken up? And I mean planets that you were supposed to blow up, not ones that you blew up because their food wasn't delicious,” I said, shaking my head with a sigh as Beerus didn't answer and kept his eyes away from me.

“Beerus, you understand that you cannot slack off as a destroyer, don't you? Either you start doing your job or I ask Lord Zeno for a replacement.”

“You dare?!”, Beerus snarled and this time, the planet shook and the skies darkened as his eyes shone with an ominous red.

“I dare,” I answered back, my ki rising up and just barely matching his as the two of us glared at each other while I could feel our energies clashing and pushing against each other.

“You go forward with that and there will be no need for me to worry about not killing.”

“You forget that I am a god of creation. I can simply sever my consciousness and create a new body right as you go to destroy my form as it is. You on the other hand will be erased from every point in the space-time continuum the very second I tell Zeno about you,” I answered with a frown, the god staying silent before I let out a soft sigh as he pulled his ki back.

“A few months ago, you would have been shaking in your boots in the face of my power.”

“I would have, but now I'm your equal. That's the one thing you have to keep in mind.”

“I suppose it is. What are the planets?”, He asked and I smiled as I placed a hand on his shoulder, closing my eyes before we vanished and appeared floating in front of a desolate planet.

“This one was supposed to have been destroyed…twenty thousand years ago? You really are a lazy bastard.”

“Shut up,” He grumbled as he dropped a Sphere of Destruction down upon the planet, the two of us watching as it touched the ground before erasing the entirety of the planet from existence itself.

“Next.”

“My, my~ You actually managed to get Lord Beerus to do his work? I must say that's a task I had deemed entirely impossible,” Whis spoke with a teasing smile as we appeared back on Beerus' planet and I chuckled while Beerus rolled his eyes.

“Don't you start too. I'm going back to rest.”

“And miss the tournament between Champa and you?”

“Wake me up when it starts,” Beerus grumbled as he continued walking, Whis and I sharing an amused look before I looked over and laughed when I saw Goku hiding Vegeta while Panzy pointed her gun at them.

“So, I should turn this down?”

“Yes.”

“Before you do that, Panzy, mind pointing it that way?”, Goku asked with a nervous smile and Panzy blinked before giving a sheepish giggle as she nodded and turned the gun to the planet in the distance.

“Oka-Hey, Dad! Look at what the Oracle helped me with!”, She said excitedly as she turned the knob on the side of the pistol and pulled the trigger.

However, I quickly vanished and reappeared beside her as I saw it light up from the inside out, wrapping a hand around the pistol and raising it high up into the air just as it exploded with a deafening boom.

“…Well, you're almost there, but I think we'll leave the Infinity Ray for now,” I murmured as I pulled my hand back, regenerating my arm while Panzy gave a sheepish giggle and nodded at my words.

“It's good to see that even gods struggle with their kids,” Goku said with a grin as Panzy went back over to the Oracle and I shook my head with a sigh as I looked over at where he and Vegeta were standing.

“Children are menaces no matter the species. Anyway, I hear that there is a new tournament that you two would be taking part in.”

“Right! Yeah, but the only issue is that it's five on five and right now, Piccolo, Vegeta and I are the only candidates we have.”

“What about Gohan?”

“We asked, but he doesn't want to and Chichi doesn't want him to be a part of it. She says he has to focus on his study.”

“Got it. Well, I got two others, but one is a king and the other is his right hand man so I'm not sure whether or not they'd want to join in.”

“Really? How strong are they?”, Vegeta asked with a furrowed brow and I smirked before shrugging.

“Well, the last time I saw them was a little over a few months ago and at that time, the two of them would have gone toe to toe with you two before you got your divine ki.”

“What? Really?!”, Goku looked excited at my words while Vegeta looked a mixture of doubtful and excited and I chuckled before nodding as I crossed my arms.

“Yep. Granolah is a pretty strong fighter and Broly is a powerful Saiyan that was strong enough to go toe to toe with my weaker clones that you struggled against.”

“W-Wait. You said that this Broly guy…is a Saiyan?”, Goku asked, his eyes wide along with that of Vegeta's as I blinked before nodding with a grin.

“Right, I forgot to say that! Yeah, Broly and his father Paragus are Saiyans that were banished to Planet Vampa by your father at the day of his birth because he had a power level over ten thousand at birth.”

“Impossible!”

“Hey, I'm just repeating what I saw on Frieza's system when I took his empire over. Also, I'll say that Paragus doesn't have that much love for you and your father. That said, I can get you two to meet them, but don't expect them to be all friendly.”

“Well, we'll still appreciate the help,” Goku spoke with a smile and I looked at Vegeta before chuckling when I saw him nod even as he frowned.

“Hatred or not, they're mature enough to understand that the fate of our planet is at stake and they are a peace-keeping organization.”

“Right. Get over here and I'll teleport us to the throne room. I'll introduce you and then everything after that is you guys.”

“Got it!”, Goku nodded as he placed a hand on my right shoulder, Vegeta placing his hand on my left right as I locked onto the familiar presence of Granolah.

“Kai-Kai,” The next moment, we reappeared on Planet Imperia, right in front of Granolah who immediately fired a barrage of ki blasts at me with Bonyu and Garana doing the exact same.

I didn't say anything as they noticed it was me and quickly stopped, Bonyu and Garana putting their pistols away while Granolah narrowed his eyes at me.

“You know, a message that you're going to visit is nice now and again instead of just popping out of thin air.”

“Yeah, but your reactions are hilari-Bonyu…is that a bump I see?”, I asked, looking at the red-skinned woman with a sly smirk as she blushed at my words. She had slimmed down a bit since I last saw her, but I was surprised when I saw the bump and looked to Granolah to see him looking away.

'Oh, my god. My people are growing without me.'

“Hey, Granolah! I felt C-Cuu!”, Cheelai waved with an excited smile as I turned around before blinking at the sight of her baby bump as well as the ring on her finger.

'Forget Granolah and Bonyu! Broly works fucking fast!'

“Hey, Cheelai! I see I'm being greeted with surprise after surprise.”

“Yeah, Paragus was the one who held the ceremony for u-What am I saying? It's so good to see you!”, She squealed as she hugged me and I laughed as I hugged her back, pulling away with a grin before remembering the two people with me.

“So, what's with Bright Orange and Mr. Grumpy?”, Granolah asked with a raised eyebrow as he sat on his throne, making me finally notice the golden crown with red rubies on his head as well as the smaller throne at his side for Bonyu.

“Right, Bright Orange is Goku and Mr. Grumpy is Vegeta. They're the Saiyans on Earth that I told you guys about.”

“The ones that almost killed you before you got so strong? Huh, glad to see they don't look weak.”

“Vegeta, no picking fights,” I spoke up before the Saiyan prince could, rolling my eyes as he huffed before watching as Goku stepped forward.

“Hey, I'm Goku and I have something to ask of you guys.”

“What makes you think we'd listen?”

“Because if you don't, a god of Destruction is going to take our planet.”

“…Cuu, what have you brought to our planet?”, Granolah asked with a sigh as he looked at me and I cleared my throat and spoke.

“Well, allow me to start from the beginning.”

A/N: Early upload~!! Finished work early so I decided to just write early and upload it.

Anyway, we're kicking off the Tournament arc though I'm not sure it's going to be a problem for Cuu since he's just there to watch and nothing more.

Next chapter: Tournament Starts.

P.S. the Tournament arc is just going to be a place where the mortals are showing off what they've attained so no Cuu interference.
