The Monke King: Ch.27
Added 2025-05-01 20:37:33 +0000 UTCI had to admit that I truly did enjoy the look of awe on most of their faces as I floated down and the look of pure shock on Vegeta's as I had shown him levels far beyond just simple Super Saiyan.
“H-How?”, Piccolo whispered in shock and I grinned as I landed on the ground, pulling my energy back in as I crossed my arms and let my tail sway behind me.
“Well, I had struggled against the Androids for years when I remembered that King Kai was still there. He then put me into contact with Mr. Popo and he let me use the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, which is where I trained to master Super Saiyan to its full extent before I learned and achieved Super Saiyan 4.”
“Oh, right! I forgot about that!”, Dad exclaimed, making everyone blink as I smirked and nodded.
“Wait, what is this Hyperbolic Time Chamber thing?”, Krillin asked before he along with everyone was shocked at my explanation.
“It's a room cut off from the space-time continuum where one could train for an entire year inside and only one day passes outside. The gravity intensity, temperature, air pressure and elements change constantly and even if you're strong enough, it is a nigh-infinite white void so most tend to lose their minds from isolation very quickly.”
“Wait, so you're telling me that we have our own thing and we haven't used it?”
“Like Dad said, he forgot about it,” I answered with a shrug, to which everyone just slowly turned to the culprit who gave a sheepish smile before Piccolo shook his head.
“Of course you did.”
“I have a question. If you had already achieved Super Saiyan 4 by that point, what was the use for finding out Super Saiyan 2 and 3?”
“My perfectionist side didn't want for me to just have 1 and 4. I needed to have 2 and 3,” I said and Tien just blinked at the casual answer to his question before I turned to Cell when the Android spoke up.
“Apologies, King Gohan, but I fear that any more talk about the Super Saiyan transformation and its evolved states may result in you accidentally revealing some crucial information that must not be revealed.”
'Oh, he's scared I'll talk about Trunks?', I thought to myself as I saw the look in his eyes before he smiled as I nodded.
“I understand, Cell. Actually, we don't have anything else to do in this timeline, right?”
“You have given the medicine to Mr. Goku and warned them about the Androids that will appear in three years. I believe that is all?”
“Cut back to that last part. Who will appear when now?”, Yamcha asked and I realized that in my haste to show off to them, I may have almost forgotten to talk about the actual reason why we're here.
“…Oops. Uh, to put it as simple as I can, the Androids are going to be near South City at 10 AM on May 12 in 3 years' time. When they do, do not hesitate to destroy both Androids, understood? This is not one of those times where you can talk them around, Dad. These are Androids that were made by an ex-scientist from the Red Ribbon Army that resents you for destroying it.”
“So, your days of going around and destroying the Red Ribbon Army are coming back to bite us in the ass, huh?”, Krillin spoke as he looked to Dad, who had a slight frown on his face as he looked at me.
“I understand, Gohan.”
“Vegeta, I can see that look in your eyes and let me tell you this. You had Super Saiyan when the Androids came and you were without a doubt the strongest being in the universe at that time,” As I spoke, everyone rolled their eyes as the Saiyan prince looked smug at my words before I continued.
“And you died within a second. They did not waste any time on you because they did not feel like you were worthy of their time. Do not underestimate them,” I said, but I could only shake my head as the Saiyan prince scoffed even as he looked just the slightest bit nervous.
“Then that means I wasn't strong enough, but I will be. In three years, I will have surpassed even your feeble Super Saiyan 4 if I have to,” I have to admit that his bravado honestly impressed me and reminded me way too much of Trunks' own brave soul whenever the fellow hybrid got too confident.
“I have to ask one question. Why didn't you just go back even further in time and stopped Gero before he ever creates them since you have a time machine?”, Bulma asked and I just gestured to Cell who decided to speak up.
“As you know, any changes that are made to the past will result in an alternate timeline forming after the nexus point. Doing that would mean that you all are weaker against any potential threats that may come down the line. Therefore, we will give you the advantage you need to face your own battles and nothing more.”
“Well, at least we got time. Three years is a long time and more than enough for all of us to get stronger,” Dad spoke and I nodded before glancing to Yamcha as he muttered something to himself.
“Androids that are going to kill us all? Damn, I should have just gone with baseball.”
“King Gohan, I believe that with the warning done, we must make preparations to leave.”
“Wait, you guys can't stay even for a bit longer?”, Dad asked and I furrowed my brow before shaking my head.
“Unfortunately, not. Any change that we make could range from having little effect on the timeline to rewriting history itself. I'd rather just go back and make sure nothing changes more than we want it to.”
“Come on, what else could happen?”, Krillin asked with a smile and I simply turned my gaze to Vegeta, who was muttering out training regiments and how weak Super Saiyan 4 would be.
“Hey, Gohan While you're still here, think you could give me the specs on them? Like weapons systems or stuff like that?”, Bulma asked and I raised an eyebrow before shaking my head.
“The two I fought did not use any weapons at all, but older Bulma already gave you everything you need on that flash drive. Seriously, though, kill them both the moment you see them and not a second later.”
“We hear you, son,” Dad spoke and I noticed the slightly troubled look he tried his best to hide before nodding with a smile.
“Then I guess that's all from me. Cell?”, I asked and the Android nodded as he placed a hand on my shoulder, Dad's eyes widening as I lifted my right index and middle fingers to my forehead with a smirk.
“Is…is that…?”
“Like I said, I went to Yardrat just as you did. Good luck to you all and little me, don't worry, you'll get strong. Just do what you want and the rest will come. Goodbye,” With that final word, an Instant Transmission carried both Cell and I halfway across the planet, both of us instantly suppressing our energies to make sure Dad couldn't follow.
The normal guy we appeared besides looked horrified as Cell turned to him before I floated up while transforming back into my base state, the Android following as the two of us made our way to the outskirts of the city we were in.
“Cell, how many more times can we use the machine?”
“We have enough for three more trips, one of which we need to keep to get back. What did you have in mind?”, He asked and I grinned as he took out the capsule and made the Time Machine appear.
“How would you like to finally get your Perfect Form?”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Run, Gohan!”
“Should we not help?”, Cell asked as the two of them stood on top of a rocky outcropping, staring down at where Androids #17 and #18 were killing off the Z-Fighters.
Gohan didn't say anything as he watched his younger self taking a horrified Bulma and a crying Trunks away from the massacre with tears in his eyes before shaking his head when he saw #18 gleefully stepping through the chest of Krillin.
“No. It is…Hah, it is unfortunate, but this is part of our timeline. We can't change it.”
“Very well. Am I allowed to go now?”
“Yeah, and Cell?”
“Yes, my King?”, He asked and Gohan smiled as he looked back down, readying himself to enjoy the coming massacre.
“Protocol Glutton. You are free to do this as you please.”
“It would be my absolute pleasure,” The Android hissed as he dropped down from the mountain, the King sitting down on the edge of the mountain while both #17 and #18 spun around when their fellow Android crashed into the ground with a deafening explosion.
“Hello there, brother and sister~”, Cell's voice was filled with malice as he rose from the crater his landing had made, amusement, anticipation and hunger dancing in his eyes.
“What the hell are you supposed to be?”, #17 asked and #18 raised an eyebrow as she pulled her leg from Krillin's chest with a sickening squelch.
“Another one of Gero's science fair projects?”
“I suppose one could say that, but unlike you two, I was made to be imperfect and can only be perfect after I absorb a certain two individuals.”
“Let me guess, us?”, #18 asked as she crossed her arms with a smirk and Cell's grin widened as he nodded.
“Very astute, sister. You were always the smarter one, but unfortunately, that intelligence didn't come with foresight.”
“So, you've come to absorb us, then? That's your grand master plan?”
“Oh no, no, no, brother dearest~ My plan is far more enjoyable than just that. You see, I was reprogrammed by a certain brilliant scientist and through her, I was given new…directives,” As he spoke, Cell began to walk closer, each step making the pressure increase more and more while both #17 and #18 felt the Android's energy pushing down on them.
“Directive 1: Serve King Gohan. Directive 2: Protect humanity. Directive 3…”, With a single step, the Android vanished and appeared behind #18, slamming his knee into her back with a vicious blow
“Glutton Protocol: Devour all of humanity's enemies!”, The ground around #18 and Cell erupted as the woman was sent flying through a rocky outcropping.
#17's eyes widened as he launched at Cell, throwing a punch that the Android caught effortlessly. With ease, the Android spun while twisting #17's arm, a pained grunt escaping the humanoid's lips before he was slammed face first into the ground.
“You see, the original Cell was told to seek perfection. Me? I seek annihilation. I don't need to absorb you to win, but I will and before I do…” Cell picked #17 up by the back of the neck, letting him drop for a brief moment before delivering a harsh that sent the Android flying towards his sister.
“I'm going to make you scream,” #18 growled as she held up a hand and fired a ki blast, but instead of blocking it, Cell simply raised an eyebrow as the blast exploded against his chest and did nothing.
“You're going to scream and it…it will be oh-so-beautiful~”, The Bio-Android whispered as he shifted into the Turtle Stance, his gaze filled with hunger before he shot forward.
#17 and #18 both roared as they launched themselves forward, both throwing a punch that the Bio-Android easily caught with a smirk.
Pushing both back, it was thanks to his months of training with Gohan that he easily dodged around their attacks, perfectly parrying each blow with surgical precision while his smile never wavered.
His movements were deliberate and taunting as if he was dancing instead of smirking and Cell found himself enjoying every second when he saw the siblings getting more and more frustrated with his ease.
“Is that all?”, He asked, catching #17's left hook and twisting his arm again, kicking #18 back before taking it further and snapping his brother's arm this time with a harsh snap.
However, he quickly turned and grabbed #17 by the mouth, holding him up so the Android could see the sadism dancing in his eyes.
“No, brother. Don't give in so soon. I have not even started with our little dinner~”, Cell whispered before he was tackled away by #18, smiling amusedly as she grabbed his neck before slamming him into the ground.
#18 roared as she dragged the Bio-Android through the ground and into a mountain with enough force to shatter the landscape around it, but as she kept her grip tight, her eyes widened when she felt him vanish.
“Lovely~ I just love it when they resist~”, He whispered in her ear as he appeared behind her, not a single mark on his body as he wrapped his arms around before heaving backwards.
With a violent grunt, #18's eyes went white as he suplexed her into the ground hard enough to crater the ground. However, Cell was not done as he rolled with the movement, lifting her up before spinning her around and slamming into the crater with a harsh power-bomb.
“Stop toying with us!”, #17 roared as he shot forward, his broken arm hanging limp and blood dripping from his mouth as he charged ki to his uninjured arm.
Cell just stared at the blast of potent energy in his brother's hand before he smirked and appeared in front of #17, a silent gasp escaping #17's lips when Cell punched forward and stabbed right through his chest.
“Fine, enough games then,” As he said that, his tail opened like a flower and #17 looked horrified as the tail wrapped around his head and shoulders, his terrified screams echoing in the air as the tail lifted him up and absorbed him.
“Feel honored, brother! You are the first step towards perfection~!”, Cell exclaimed with glee, ignoring the angry ki blasts #18 was shooting at him as he fully absorbed #17 and let out a roar.
His body was covered in a blinding light before his muscles bulged, his exoskeleton shifting while glowing lines began to pulse around his form.
“Hahahaha~!! Yes!! This is it!!”, Cell's voice sounded a lot deeper as the light faded away, revealing his new dark-green humanoid form with a more muscular build, his wings gone and now having feet that resembled shoes instead of having his toes out.
Cell grinned as he took a deep breath, letting his newfound power wash over him before slowly turning his gaze to a terrified #18, smirking as he stepped towards her with a calm smile.
“You should see your face, sister~ Where is all of that mocking bravado from earlier?”, Cell asked, watching gleefully as his ki surged outwards and made the woman stumble back.
“What the hell are you?”, She asked, trying to be defiant even as Cell could see the nervousness dancing in her eyes.
“I am evolution made manifest. I am Gero's dream perfected by a higher cause, not for ego or domination but for retribution, and you, sister dearest, are next on the menu,” #18 screamed in desperation as she lunged at him, throwing heavy blows that would have shattered the body of the average fighter.
However, for Semi-Perfect Cell, they were no more than love taps as he easily pushed them to the side, her movements looking as if she was in slow motion before he moved.
A backhand sent her flying into the distance only for #18 to gag as Cell appeared in front of her flight path, catching the Android by her throat and lifting her up with an effortless smile.
“King Gohan was right. Watching you fall is quite entertaining,” Cell spoke out loud, #18 gritting her teeth as she tried and failed to kick at him to let her go.
“K-King G-Gohan?”, She asked before her eyes widened as she saw the figure slowly descending, Gohan only giving her a stoic look before her view was obscured by Cell's tail opening up and sucking in as well.
Gohan didn't say anything as he saw Cell absorbing #18, simply crossing her arms while his clothes fluttered gently in the wind.
The light of Cell's transformation lit up the area as his power washed over the very planet, letting out a roar of triumph as his body shifted, smoothed and forced itself to its final perfected form.
“P is for Protecting the people through their pain~ E is for Erasing each threat to his reign~ R is for Rising, a King's right hand~ F is for Flattening his foes on command~! E is for Ending the chaos and lies~ C is for Crushing all treacherous ties~ T is for Thrive~ what the strong shall procure~”, Perfect Cell sang, slowly turning to Gohan before the Saiyan hybrid smiled amusedly as Cell chuckled and fell to one knee while bowing his head.
“My name is Perfect Cell and I'd like to say…Hello~”
A/N: I said I was going to do a Team Four Star reference with Cell, but I thought I'd do it in this one~ Cell has his Perfect Form, Gohan has warned everyone and we're heading back to go face off against Buu~!!
…Whenever that guy wants to show up.
Next chapter: Back in the Timeline and Showing off the Power of Perfection~
P.S. I know procure and hello don't rhyme but for this chapter, make it as if it does.
P.P.S. They are in the same timeline as their own, but at the point where #17 and #18 kills everyone.
As always, read, enjoy, review and until the next one…
Ba-Bye~!!

I kind of treat it like the other timelines. In this one, Gohan and Cell show up but in the other one, they didn't

2025-05-01 21:13:04 +0000 UTCVery nice. Tho if this is the same timeline as their own, would it not overwrite their own timeline? Wonder if Chronoa will show up. Just the normal Xenoverse (games 1 and 2) with none of that DB Heroes stuff unlike in Perfection. Tho I'm guessing Monke King is the closest fic to being finished so far if not?
