Do not engage with a force less than 50 high-ranking Jounin.

“…Oh damn.” Konan whispered with wide eyes as she looked at me and I sighed as I shook my head while pinching the bridge of my nose.

“Yeah, I am officially unable to leave without being hunted down by nearly every bounty hunter in the world. Also, you're not off the hook either.” I said to Pakura and she frowned as she looked at her entry along with the hunters.

Wanted for betraying her village…and stealing a valuable resource…Wanted only alive for….18,000,000 ryo…A-Rank…Oh gods, this is such a pain.” She groaned and I smirked before looking at the other two as Yahiko spoke.

“Okay, so what now? We just going to keep staying here or do we need to go to a new place?” Yahiko asked and I frowned as I looked through the wall, staring at the new dozen chakra signatures that had surrounded our tower the moment we entered.

“Doesn't matter. Hanzo has his men already stationed outside to monitor us. Anywhere we go, they're going to follow.”

“Urgh, okay. Then what do we do?”

“I'm most definitely going to have to lay low and so are the rest of you. Missions are now kept to C-Rank and below. Take only missions that allow us to stay within the range of the village borders. Do not take any missions outside of it as that will cause us to be place in the eyesight of any shinobi that would want to attack you all to get to me.”

“Fine, then what are you going to do?” Konan asked and I smirked before whistling for Sessho to come towards me as I cracked my neck.

“Like I said, I have to lay low and not be seen in public eye. However, I also have to get out of here because if I stay here any longer, Hanzo might come visit us and I need to make sure he doesn't come for you guys.”

“And where are you going to go?” Pakura's question made me smirk as I shrugged, remembering a certain village that I've been wanting to visit ever since I got to this world.

After all, when will I ever get the chance to sneak away and meet my fellow red-heads?

“I've got a few locations in mind. You guys know the protocol for when we need to scatter, right?”

“We understand.” Yahiko and Konan agreed, making Pakura confused as I chuckled at her look and spoke.

“Just follow their lead and you should be fine.”

“Fine. How long are you going to be gone?”

“Truthfully, I think a few months at the very least just to be certain but that can also extend to maybe until the war ends.”

“Then we're coming with.” Yahiko spoke before frowning as I shook my head.

“That's the wrong move right there. The Akatsuki still needs to continue and both you and Pakura have bounties on your head. That would just draw more attention to me which would make it useless for me to hide.”

“Fine then. We're going to have to make sure none of us are put in danger when you're gone.”

“As some sort of revenge?” I asked with a frown and Konan shrugged as Pakura nodded.

“That is what most shinobi would do. If you can't get the big fish, target the smaller fish around him.”

“Urgh, very well. You and Yahiko still know where the old spot is?”

“The cabin?” She asked and I smiled while making a fist, both of their eyes narrowing while Pakura was just confused as they both nodded.

“Good. You still know the jutsu?” I asked as I looked towards Yahiko and he smirked before nodding.

“Of course.”

“Okay, good. Hah, I'm going to go now so the moment I do, get ready and follow afterwards. Make sure you three stay together and use it the moment you hit the ground, understood?”

“Understood./ Understood./ What the hell are we talking about?” Pakura asked with a frown and the others snickered as I smiled and patted her on the shoulder before handing over a scroll to Konan.

“What's this?”

“The rest of the explosive tags.”

“Wait, what do you mean the re-!” With a single hand sign and a pulse of chakra, Konan gave me a bewildered and shocked look as powerful explosions rippled all over the village and both Yahiko and Pakura were surprised as I spun around before taking off at a blistering pace.

“Remember! As soon as you hit the ground! Let's go, Sessho!” Sessho just gave a bark as chakra flooded through his body, which bulked slightly as I weaved a few hand signs and we vanished the moment we stepped outside the door.

All around us, chaos reigned as some of the towers around ours were crumbling down, the rubble falling onto the civilians and a few of the towers still standing.

'Good, they're out.' I thought with a smile as I saw Konan, Yahiko and Pakura racing in the opposite direction, heading towards the hideout near the cabin before I focused as we got to the southern wall.

“Sessho! Get ready!” I shouted as I leapt over the wall and down the opposite end, Sessho doing the same before I quickly weaved through hand signs and dismissed the genjutsu surrounding us.

Earth Style: Hidden Mole

With naught but the sound of rain pouring down around us, both Sessho and I sunk deep into the ground before I wrapped an arm around him and began to swim away from Amegakure as fast as I can.

Time to go see what the Land of Whirlpools is all about.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Hah…goodbye, Land of Rain.” I muttered with a sigh as I rested in a tree, my body and Sessho's fur kept dry thanks to the layer of chakra I made around us both.

It's been a few hours since we left Amegakure behind and by the gods, I have never seen this many shinobi surrounding one village yet never getting too close to be considered a threat.

Suna's shinobi alone sealed off the western, south-western and southern sides of the village's outskirts, with Iwa having taken north-west and north and Konoha having control over the south-eastern and eastern borders.

Just trying to get around the Konoha borders were hell itself because they had only Chunin and Jounin stationed here and all of them were on high alert.

I've seen a few families try to get past and was once again reminded this was not the Konoha I knew when half of the civilians that tried to pass were killed instantly simply on the suspicion of them being shinobi.

These shinobi did not hesitate to end a life and I've come to the realization that I need to stop worrying about killing the wrong person and only worry about surviving.

Who cares if I kill someone like Hiashi or Inoichi or Kakashi or even Minato? The moment they attack me, they become a threat to my well-being and threats need to be eliminated.

“Hah, this is getting more and more exhausting the longer I think about it, Sessho.” I muttered as I looked at the dog resting on the branch before rolling my eyes with a smile as he tilted his head in confusion.

“Don't worry about it. You ready to go?” I asked and he gave a happy bark this time before I stood up, thankful for the fact that I had switched out into a simple dark green shirt with dark grey pants, boots and a long piece of cloth tied around my hair to keep it hidden as I smirked.

The next, the branch cracked as I leapt towards the next one, Sessho keeping up as the two of us slowly made our way around the western border towards my final destination.

Here's to hoping no one intercepts us.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Well, shit.” I muttered as I stood on top of a cliff, looking down at the vast forest in front of me and the sea out beyond it.

Now, one would wonder why I would sound so exasperated when my ticket out of this country was only a few hundred meters away and I could answer that very easily.

'Of course my luck is this shit.' I thought with a frown as I stared at the chubby brown-haired young adult who glared at me along with his spiky-haired friend with a long scar on his face and the familiar blonde guy that had fought against Yahiko who seemed to recognize me as he frowned.

“That's him.”

“That's the guy that attacked you?” Shikaku Nara asked and Inoichi nodded with a frown as Choza twirled his staff.

Of course, my luck is so bad to the point that I encounter the Ino-Shika-Cho trio just moments before I am free to do as I please.

'From the looks of it, they're only…what? 18 or 19 years old now? Should I just leave…? No, if I can, I will, but if they continue to hold me up, I'm taking them out. No more holding back.'

“Don't suppose there's a way where this ends in me leaving peacefully and none of us fighting, is there?”

“You injured our teammate, kid, but we'll be nice. Just surrender and we'll let you go.”

“You guys have read my Bingo Book entry…right?” I asked and raised an eyebrow as Shikaku was the one that nodded.

“Yeah, but we're simply here to stall you until the reinforcements come.” Inoichi spoke and I frowned as I watched him lower his hand from the side of his temple, realizing that he must have communicated telepathically with any Konoha shinobi nearby.

In other words…

“Sessho! Evade and hide!” I barked out as I blitzed forward, Choza immediately jumping in front of his teammate and blocking my heavy punch while Shikaku knelt behind his teammate and Inoichi made a hand seal while jumping back.

Mind Destruction Jutsu

Shadow Strangle Jutsu

Expansion Jutsu

Asura Path! Preta Path! Human Path!

Activating Three Paths was not the right move as I immediately felt the headache sinking in, fighting through it as two arms grew out from my side and grabbed Choza's arm while my original two arms grabbed onto Shikaku's shadow and I began draining chakra from both of them.

Smirking as I felt Inoichi's chakra being drained the moment he tried to control my mind, I grabbed onto Choza's arm tightly before ripping his soul out with the Human Path.

“W-What the hell?” Shikaku muttered in shock as both he and Inoichi quickly cancelled their jutsu and leapt back, to which I simply brought Choza's corpse closer with two hands while still having a tight grip on his soul with the third hand.

“You have five seconds. Call off your reinforcements or your friend dies.”

“Do it. He's not bluffing.” Shikaku spoke as soon as I did and I watched as Inoichi gritted his teeth before making a hand sign.

“It is done.”

Shadow Clone Jutsu

Surprising the both of them as I created a Shadow Clone besides me, the clone nodded as he gripped onto Choza's soul while I dropped the body and smiled at them.

“Don't follow or the clone blows up and takes your friend with him. Goodbye.” With those last words, I dropped down from the large cliff we were all standing on.

Running down the side of it before leaping down into the forest, I grinned as Sessho barked while hopping besides me, smirking as I scratched his head before we continue hopping.

“Good boy. Now, we just need to keep on hopping and we should be able to reach the Land of Whirlpools in a couple of days.”

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Man, this has been a fun trip so far, eh Sessho?” Sessho gave a bark and I chuckled at the slightly tired tone in his voice, not surprised at it considering we've been running for the past two days with only a few hours of sleep in total.

I wanted to sleep more, but Konoha doesn't know how to give up as I've been busy fighting all kinds of pursuers in just the past twenty four hours.

Our opponents had ranged from specialists in the field of assassination, i.e. ANBU Black Ops sent to either cash in the check on my head or make sure a threat to the village was eliminated all the way down to groups of Genin trying to make a name for themselves.

I swear, Konoha not only have quality shinobi, but the damn quantity of them was enough to make me realize that Konoha may be a bit more than I anticipated.

“Not to worries, though. We left them behind and here we are…just a few meters away from our prize.” I muttered as I stood on the ocean water, the surface rippling and shifting from the waves while Sessho's whines made me frown as I nodded.

“I agree, boy. How exactly do we get through this?” The 'this' in question was nothing more than a few large whirlpools the size of a giant boulder spinning rapidly, with each one being a damn near pain to just be near to as it was strong enough to make me stumble slightly.

Me, the one who prioritised being able to balance on raging waters with one toe.

…Not that I can do that yet, but it's the thought that counts.

“We need to get through this and get to that island there. Alright, Sessho! Time for some fireman carry!” I spoke as I lifted the Inuzuka hound up before placing him on my shoulders.

Rolling my eyes at Sessho's happy panting, twin cannons formed at the bottom of my feet before I shot up into the air, boosting myself with another blast and flinging myself over the large whirlpools before I quickly took a deep breath and aimed at the water.

Wind Style: Breakthrough!

It wasn't enough to push all of the water away, but it was enough to break the surface long enough for me to get in as I threw Sessho high into the air, quickly swimming back up and catching the dog with a front flip before shaking my head as he just gave me a happy bark.

“Of course you're happy. Come on, time to go meet some family members.” I spoke as I put him down onto the water, to which he just shook himself dry and we began making our way onto land.

“Over there!”

“Keep attacking!”

“These sealing bastards are dying today!”

'…What in the actual fuck?!' I exclaimed as I stared at the thousands of Kiri and Kumo shinobi all attacking the barrier of the village, even more Kumo and Kiri shinobi lying dead on the outskirts of the barrier along with a few red-haired shinobi.

However, what I was most focused on were the Three-Tailed Turtle, the Six-Tailed Slug, the Two-Tailed Flaming Cat and the Eight-Tailed Ox-Octupus hybrid that were going on a rampaging on the outside of the village itself.

“What the actual fuck?!”

A/N: And we end it off with a cliffhanger~!!

A quick chapter of Nagato just making his way through the lands and trying to see what he can do for fun only to end up being surprised by both Kumo and Kiri trying their best to take out Uzushio.

Alright, enough fun time~!! It's time for the Six Paths of Pain to make their debut…

Just kidding, but am I? Find out next chapter.

As always, read, enjoy, review and until the next one…

Ba-Bye~!!

Comments

Honestly, considering Iwa most likely had the Tsuchikage who would now be occupied elsewhere with the Leaf taking advantage of their losses to push them back and considering the Uzumaki's sealing masters that they most definitely had, I'd give them a solid chance in surviving.

Ethan

All we know from canon is that Uzushio was destroyed during the second Shinobi War, which it currently is

Okita-Chan

Thought uzushio was destroyed at this point? Still, the Naruto timeline is such a mess that this probably isn’t that big a deal. The outcome will be very interesting to see, that’s for sure.

John

do you think the uzumaki would have survived just kumo and kiri(as iwa seem to have been butterflied out of the attempt) without nagato?
