My Dad Is The Strongest?: Ch.11
Added 2025-03-07 21:22:10 +0000 UTCTaking a deep breath, Killua slowly went through his warm-up stretches, thankful for the high roof mansion of his grandparents as that let him do his stretches while bathing in the sun rising upon Kyoto.
It took a few minutes before he did a final toe-stretch, tittering on the edge of the rooftop before smirking as he slowly edged forward and fell off with a spin.
As the ground approached though, he didn't even look worried as he simply spun around and landed with a roll, his cursed energy surging through his body as he leapt up while reaching for the weapon at his side.
With a grunt, Kamutoke sung as it unleashed a burst of powerful lightning in front of him, utterly annihilating the row of straw dummies along with the few trees behind them.
“…Man, I really can't use you for training, can I?” Killua muttered with a sigh as he hooked the weapon onto his belt while looking at the devastation he had caused.
He was a bit miffed at himself for not having brought it along for the fight against Ibaraki-douji as the fight would have been finished a whole lot sooner, but then again, he was still a bit suspicious of Mei Mei at the time.
After that first Special Grade job, he had been escorted by the woman a few more times on the Grade 1 and Semi-Grade 1 jobs he had been given during said time, but all of them were not nearly as difficult as the fight against Ibaraki-douji since he finished off each spirit with just one attack.
'Is this how Dad feels when he's fighting? If so, I can see why the man is bored all the time?' After he had nearly lost against Ibaraki, Killua had seen why the man was labelled 'The Strongest Modern Sorcerer' as Satoru had upped the level of his training tremendously.
The man did not hold back during spars, physical training or even just theoretical work as nothing but perfect was good for the best of the best in the world.
Killua had to admit that the man did remind him somewhat of the gruelling training the boy had to do under Illumi and his father as he had made sure to push Killua above and beyond even the most intensive training.
Unlike his old dad who didn't care whether or not he broke his bones or shredded his muscles, Gojo did at least look a bit regretful for pushing him this hard, but then the man pushed past it and Killua found himself having to break his limits to survive.
'Then again, I didn't need to worry about surviving the night with the Reverse Cursed Technique.' Killua thought with a smirk as he lifted his hand, the pure white aura of positive energy appearing around his hand as he slowly clenched it before dismissing it once more.
He would have taken a second longer before in order to first channel his cursed energy and then shift it into positive energy to heal himself, but Dad's training had made sure he's able to do both processes at the same time.
'The man may have trouble showing his emotions, but he definitely knows how to make someone as strong as they can be.'
“Kil, have you been training with Kamutoke again?” His grandmother's voice spoke up from behind him and the boy winced at that as he turned around before giving a sheepish chuckle as Kanade gave him a frown with her arms crossed.
“Hey, grandma~ How's your morning going?”
“Oh, it was absolutely lovely until my grandson decided to swing a Special-Grade Cursed Tool in our backyard. May I ask why?”
“Oh, I thought I could regulate its output, but I found out this only does really powerful lightning blasts that can eviscerate a building.” He answered with an innocent smile and Kanade rolled her eyes with a smirk.
“That look doesn't work on me, young man.”
“You sure?” He asked as he walked closer before wincing as she smacked him on the head and nodded.
“Fairly sure. Now come. Your grandfather wishes to speak with you on what you're going to be doing for the year.”
“Is there a new Special Grade case?” He asked with an excited smile before grumbling as she raised an eyebrow and shook her head.
“You shouldn't look so excited at the thought of getting to fight a Special Grade, especially after what happened the last time.”
“That was because I didn't know what to expect. Now that I do, the next fight is going to be much easier for me especially after the training I went through.”
“Of course, dear. Also, no, it's not a Special-Grade case. It's more focused on the fact that you have not signed up for a school, especially after the incident with your friend.”
“…Please, tell me you're not going to ask what I think you're going to ask, are you?” He asked before groaning as his grandmother smirked and nodded.
“Indeed. You are going to be joining the Kyoto Jujutsu High school starting today.”
“…I'm not even fifteen yet!”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“I hate this.”
“Oh, don't be like that. You'll get used to it eventually.” Gintoki spoke with a grin as he ruffled his hair, Killua grumbling with crossed arms as he stood in the middle of his grandparents while watching as a woman and an elderly man slowly descended down a long series of stairs.
The woman in question was pretty if Killua had to say so himself and he felt that the large scar on her face actually added to her beauty instead of taking away from it. Combined with her long black hair as well as the traditional miko outfit she had on, the woman actually looked like a traditional exorcist that got rid of evil spirits.
The old man though was a bit creepy as he had an elongated bald head with thick eyebrows that curved down and a goatee. Wearing a light nagajuban with a dark-coloured hakama and a wooden cane, the man would have looked like a traditional priest if not for the fact that he had numerous piercings covering his face.
'If anything, he looks like Old Man Netero if he was trying to act like a young and hip guy…even if his cursed energy is a bit low.' The woman was more or less equal with his grandparents in terms of cursed energy levels and the old man had far more than any of them, but compared to someone like Killua, the man was like a bucket compared to a lake.
'Then again, he probably has a good technique to validate his position as headmaster or he's just that much better than everyone else.' Killua thought with a hum as the old man and the woman came to a stop in front of them.
“…Are you sure that's not Satoru?” The woman asked as she looked at Killua with a surprised look, to which his grandparents simply laughed as Killua raised an eyebrow.
“I thank you for the comparison, but I like to think I look far better than him.”
“And there's the ego. Yep, you're definitely your father's son.” The woman nodded and Killua smiled before turning to the old man as he spoke up.
“The Zen'in Clan have already called ahead and offered a large sum to not accept him.”
“And?” Gintoki asked and the old man smirked before shaking his head.
“What teacher would I be if I didn't allow a former student's grandson to attend the very school he went to?”
“Wait, this is your teacher?” Killua asked with a surprised look a she looked at his grandfather, who chuckled as he nodded.
“He was indeed, though I must admit that I was not the best student.”
“You are also the only one who survived the longest out of the students I have trained. That is better than everyone else.” The principal spoke bluntly and Killua realised that he may like this guy as Gintoki smiled and nodded.
“Is it okay if I…?”
“Of course, you know the way.”
“I'll go with Killua.” Kanade spoke with a smile and Gintoki gave a thankful smile as he made his way up the stairs, Killua watching his grandfather leave before turning his gaze back to the old man as he spoke up.
“While your grandfather go visits his friends, why don't we get you situated at your new home?”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“This is going to be your room for the entirety of your time here.” Principal Gakuganji spoke with a hum as Killua stood in his room, liking the traditional aesthetic and design of the room compared to the modern room he had back at home.
“It's nice. If I can ask, Principal, why exactly did you accept having an 11 year old at a high school?” Killua asked as he looked at the old man, his grandmother and Ms. Utahime staying silent as Gakuganji stroked his beard before answering.
“You are a Special Grade from birth. Kyoto has not had any Special Grade sorcerers in our school so having you as an alumni would boost our reputation immensely, even more since you are also the son of the Strongest Sorcerer of the Modern Era.”
“So, you're using me for my name?” Killua asked with a smirk and Gakuganji nodded, to which the boy hummed and nodded.
“I can understand that. So, what do you usually do for fun around here?”
“That's it? You're not mad?” Utahime asked and Killua shrugged as Kanade giggled while patting her shoulder.
“One thing you'll have to understand is that Killua is like his father, carefree about everything in the world since they feel it doesn't affect them.”
“Is he as arrogant as him?”
“A bit.” Killua answered in turn with a shrug and Utahime simply sighed before nodding.
“A bit is better than what I had to deal with so I'll take it.”
“Ooh~ Do you have stories of my dad when he was a student?”
“A few, especially the ones of him drunk.” She spoke with a grin and Killua matched it as the two older people looked at each other.
“I think he's going to fit in just fine.” Gakuganji spoke with a hum as they watched Utahime lead Killua out of the room with gossip and Kanade smiled softly as she nodded.
“I think he is. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to see if my husband isn't trying to laze around at the graves.”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“And that's the last piece!” Killua grunted as he hopped down from his desk, feeling pleased at the Kakashi poster he had put above his desk before adjusting the Pikachu figurine he had on his desk.
“Nice. Now that looks far better.”
“Killua, are you in there?” He turned to the door as he heard Utahime's voice from behind it, quickly looking around to make sure his room is okay and patting his side to make sure Kamutoke was there before walking over and opening it.
“Hey, Ms. Utahime and…uh, hello.” He spoke while nodding at the teenage boy next to her and the boy simply nodded back with his eyes still closed as Utahime smiled.
“Killua, this is Noritoshi Kamo, the heir to the Kamo Clan and a 2nd year at our school. We have another first year of the Big Three Clans attending our school, but she is currently out on a grade 2 exorcism mission so I thought the two of you would like to chat.”
“…What do you wanna talk about?” Killua asked as he turned to Noritoshi, who simply raised an eyebrow with his eyes still closed while Utahime decided to leave them alone.
“I do not know. What do you wish to talk about?”
“Nothing much. What's your rank?”
“Semi-Grade 1. Yours?”
“Special Grade.” That prompted the boy to open one eye, looking down at Killua as the boy had his arms crossed.
“Are you lying?” He asked and in turn, Killua simply reached into his jacket pocket before taking out his sorcerer ID and handing it over to Noritoshi, who looked at it with a critical eye before it widened slightly as he nodded and slowly handed the card back.
“Apologies for my doubt.”
“Eh, I know it was hard to believe. So, how long have you been a Semi-Grade 1?”
“For two months now. I am to be recommended at the next Goodwill Event, but I do not see a need to put haste in increasing my rank.”
“I have heard about that event, but no one wants to tell me what it is and I also can't find any information on it. What is it exactly?” Killua asked and regretted his request as Noritoshi cleared his throat before speaking.
“Every year in the middle of the school year after the busy season for jujutsu sorcerers, the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College and the Kyoto Prefectural Jujutsu High School hold a competition to see which of the schools is the stronger one.
The competition is held over the span of two days and the events may differ, but the first day is usually a team day and the second an individual battle. The only rule is that no killing is allowed as this is an event to allow jujutsu sorcerers to go all out and only first, second and third years are allowed to compete, but usually first years are not asked to participate since they're usually not strong enough to be able to participate.”
“Ah, I see. Well, then I guess I'll sit this year out.”
“However, since you are a Special-Grade, I do believe that you may be capable of joining this year.”
“I don't think they'll allow me to considering I'm only eleven, but if they do, I'll take part.” Killua answered with a shrug and Noritoshi hummed before the two stood in silence in the room.
“…Would you like to meet the other students on campus?”
“Sure, lead the way.”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Killua, this is Momo Nishimiya, a fellow 2nd Year like me and a Semi-Grade 2 sorcerer.”
“H-Hello.” A young girl dressed in the girls' Jujutsu High outfit waved with a nervous smile, her hair tied up into two pig-tails and a broom floating besides her table as Killua nodded back while not even being surprised at the fact that she was a 2nd year despite looking his age.
After all, he had trained under a woman that was in her fifties but looked twelve.
“Next to her is Kasumi Miwa, a 1st Year like you and a Semi-Grade 2 sorcerer as well.”
“Hi!” Miwa waved with a smile as she was dressed in the formal version of the Jujutsu High's girl's uniform while her long, light blue hair hung freely and extended past her shoulders.
“Finally, this is Aoi Todo, the last of the 2nd Years and a Grade 1 sorcerer.” The last guy was a big, muscular guy and reminded Killua of Knuckles as he was dressed in martial arts pants, a light violet undershirt and a black jacket that was currently hanging from the back of the chair he was sitting on.
The reason he reminded Killua of Knuckle was because of the confident and challenging smirk he had on his face and Killua smirked as the guy leaned forward before speaking.
“What kind of girl is your type?”
“…Is he serious?” The boy asked as he looked at the others who all nodded with sighs as Todo sat back upright while having his arms crossed.
“The kind of girl one likes shows very much of their personality and character.”
“Well, considering I'm eleven, I don't think I can say I have a type.”
“Yet, you understand what the word means with how you use it. Therefore, you know what girl attracts you.”
“The kind of girls that attract my attention are few and far in-between and also, I believe you might end up in a jail cell if I tell you. So, you sure you still want to know?”
“Yes.” Todo nodded instantly and Killua blinked before slowly looking at Noritoshi who gestured for him to speak.
“You either tell him or he's going to keep hounding you until you do.”
“…A girl with a nice figure. As long as the hips look good, I don't mind.” Killua didn't even believe what he was saying to be truthful as he never cared for things like women or the type of women he liked.
So, he just said the one type that he's seen most of the guys in the brothel like.
“With a big ass?”
“Yeah.” Killua nodded with a shrug before being surprised as the man stood up, walked around the cafeteria table they were sharing and hugged him with tears in his eyes.
“Oh, wonderful deities~!! Thank you for this day!!”
“…Anyone want to help?” Killua asked as he looked at the others, to which the girls simply hid their giggles as Noritoshi smirked.
“You seem to be having a grand time so we'll leave you be.”
“Urgh~!”
“Also, his full name is Killua Gojo. He is the son of Satoru Gojo, the next 1st Year at our school and a Special-Grade Sorcerer.”
“What?!”
A/N: And we finally move on to the JJK 0 movie arc as Killua joins the Kyoto school.
He doesn't exactly need school considering he's been trained to his limits, but his grandparents want him to make emotional connections with the others so he doesn't end up like Satoru.
Anyway, next chapter is going to be meeting a Zen'in and a cyborg and facing off against a teleporting Gorilla? Stay tuned for those.
As always, read, enjoy, review and until the next one…
Ba-Bye~!!

Gintoki, yes. The Kanade one I think I just searched up cool Japanese girl names and picked it because it sounded cool. I've searched it up now and I have to admit that it kind of fits the image I had in mind.
