'…' Chad was stunned silent as he stared at the far more descriptive STATUS screen floating in front of him, having just woken up a few moments ago after the enlightening discussion he had with his Inner Hollow.

Wasn't that a surprise in itself? To find that all that Hollow Reiryoku he has been absorbing over the past few months had decided to just go and form into an actual Hollow that now lives inside of him.

“You do realize that I can hear you, right?” El Diablo's voice echoed in his mind and Chad sighed as he stood up, a bit surprised at the fact that his arm had fully restored before he frowned slightly as he saw the magenta tribal markings running across his forearm in an intricate pattern.

'Why does it look like that?'

“Oh, High-Speed Regeneration can heal any cut, bruise or poison, but if the limb is fully cut off, I bring it back with some…added additions. Don't worry, the markings will not be visible on your human body, but I will say that if you keep losing limbs over and over, your soul will one day just stop being human.”

'…That's just fun. Forgetting about that for a brief moment, can we move on to the new skills I just got from you and can you explain them?'

“You could also just click on them and read them.”

'I could…' Chad agreed with a nod as he stretched his body and smirked as the Hollow responded with a snort.

“Fine. Bala is like a weaker Cero that has twenty times its speed but also only about a tenth of its power. Descorrer is your Kumon ability, but you can simply tap the air to open a gateway unlike having to tear it like with Kumon. Pesquisa is your Spiritual Sense ability but strengthened significantly thanks to the heightened senses of the Hollows. Finally, Sonido is like a Shinigami's Flash Step except it's far faster in my humble opinion.”

'Don't you mean biased?' Chad asked as he rolled his shoulders, smirking as he heard Diablo huff.

“No, I mean humble. Anyway, Armadura Malévola del Guardián Demoníaco(Malevolent Armor of the Guardian Devil) is the final form that you will achieve when you master all aspects of your armour. That is why it's labelled as 'Incomplete'.”

'So, I just have to master both Brazo Derecha el Gigante and Brazo Izquierda del Diablo and I'd be able to use it, right?'

“Nope, you'd still have to fight and defeat me in order to truly gain it.”

'And I'm guessing you won't be willing to simply surrender?' Chad asked before shaking his head as he heard Diablo chuckling, beginning his trek down the sewer pathway while keeping his senses stretched out for any Shinigami that might come his way.

“So, where are you off to now?”

'I now know where Rukia is located so I'm going to head over there and then I'm going to see if I can't get her away. Ichigo should have finished his first fight as well.'

“Our friend in question has been busy training continuously for the time that you've been unconscious considering his Reiatsu has been fluctuating between its lowest point and its peak non-stop.”

'…Yeah, that sounds like Ichigo. I'm guessing he fought against someone and lost?'

“A captain from the looks of it, but then again, there were two there so it would make sense for him to lose considering we struggled against just one.”

'We didn't struggle. Struggle means that we actually put up a fight. He had not even released his Shikai and he was already too much for us to handle.' Chad spoke with a slight frown as he arrived at a ladder, hearing Diablo scoff as he slowly climbed up to the surface.

“You're not lying there. However, just because we lost against one captain doesn't mean we'll lose against them all. From what I could feel, he was probably the fifth or sixth strongest Shinigami in this place so it would make more sense for Ichigo to have fought him than us.”

'Really? Well, I guess we really were in over our heads in thinking that we would be able to beat them at all.' Chad thought as he lifted the manhole cover blocking his ascension with one hand, slowly looking out only to see nothing but the ground being cracked and shattered everywhere.

'I feel some residue…Uryu's and…Tatsuki's?'

“Ah, right! Those two fought against a captain and his lieutenant last night. They both won so you don't have to worry about either being in trouble.”

'How long ago has that been?' Chad asked as he climbed out of the sewer and looked around, frowning as he saw Uryu's Reiatsu nearly being at its all-time low while Tatsuki's was slowly regenerating with Orihime's right besides her.

“About ten or so minutes ago.” Diablo answered and Chad nodded as he activated both Fullbring and Sonido, surprised at the sound of static echoing behind him as the ground bent like rubbe and shot him forward with every step.

'Wow…And I thought Fullbring on its own was fast.'

“Like I said, I think Sonido is faster than Flash Step.” Chad found it hard to disagree with the Hollow when he covered the distance between him and Uryu in the same timespan that it would have taken him to cover half of the distance with just Fullbring.

He most definitely surprised his ally when he wrapped his arms around him and leapt to the side, but Chad muffled him and focused on shifting the reishi around them to match that of the surroundings just as a dark-skinned captain walked down the stairs.

Uryu looked surprised as the captain slowly approached them, giving Chad a begrudgingly thankful look as the teen simply smiled and nodded.

“Just keep calm and let him pass.” Diablo spoke as Chad calmed his breathing, watching as the captain came to a standstill before he slowly turned his head from side to side.

“Hah, I felt them, but it appears they have someone that can hide them even from my senses. Lord Aizen will not be pleased.”

'This Lord Aizen must be the guy in charge.' Chad thought as he watched the captain turning and walking away, waiting for a few more minutes just in case someone was hiding or the captain was coming back before dispersing the invisibility bubble around them.

“You were lucky…That captain was blind…or else he would have seen us…” Uryu gritted out as he slowly slid down the pillar, Chad helping him sit down before looking around to see if there were any enemies nearby.

'None whatsoever. We got lucky.'

“We did indeed. Now, pick him up and get him to that one that has the crush on Ichigo to let her heal him.”

'Her name is Orihime.'

“Eh, you humans all look the same to me.” Diablo answered in response and Chad rolled his eyes as he picked up Uryu with both arms, making sure his friend was secure before raising an eyebrow at the embarrassed glare he was given.

“Either I help you or you can be left here to suffer?”

“…I do not like this one bit.” Uryu grumbled, but he settled down and Chad crouched, shattering the ground with his first step as he ducked in between the pathways whilst making his way to where he was staring at Orihime's energy.

Hopefully, she still had some to help out Uryu.

“Wait, you fought against a captain?” Tatsuki asked with a surprised look as she and Chad sat at the entrance to an alleyway, the teen shaking his head while taking a glance back to where Orihime was busy healing Uryu's wounds.

“No, I escaped from a captain. I did win against a lieutenant and escaped from a 3rd Seat, but the captain felt far too strong for me to win against.”

“Still, that's quite the achievement. I only got to fight a lieutenant and she was very annoying to fight considering she was filled to the brim with weaponry.”

“Is that why he was so injured?” He asked and Tatsuki frowned as she nodded while resting her head against the wall behind her.

“Yeah, I wasn't there to see most of their fight because Orihime and I had to lead the lieutenant away, but in our attempt to escape, he had to take an attack from the captain so that most likely led to the injuries he has.”

“And you're blaming yourself for that?” Chad asked as he saw the frown on her face, sighing as she gritted her teeth and nodded.

“Yeah, I'm…I'm supposed to be on the same level as you all, but right now, it feels like even Hime is doing more work than me.”

“Well, that's because you're comparing yourself to Ichigo, Uyru and I. We've been doing this for far longer than you have so of course, we'd be better at it than you are. Also, Orihime specializes in support and healing while you're more of an offensive fighter so you can't compare yourself to her.”

“I know, I know. I…I guess I'm just always going to compare myself to others. It's a bad trait of mine.”

“Actually, it's a good one. If there is no one better than you at what you do, then you would never feel the need to get stronger so you can surpass them.” Chad answered with a smile with a fist raised and Tatsuki smirked as she bumped his first with hers whilst nodding.

“You're right. Hah, you know…you're a lot more calm than one would expect from a member of Karakura High's biggest delinquent duo.”

“Please don't make me remember that nickname.”

“All done!” Orihime spoke up in a happy yet tired tone and Chad turned his head to see her sitting happily, Uryu looking thankful as his wounds were all gone.

“Nice work, Hime. You make sure to rest now.”

“Uwah~ A nap…does sound nice…” She whispered as she laid down and Chad smirked while Tatsuki rolled her eyes as she stood up and walked over to her friend.

“So, what now? From what I can sense, there are numerous Shinigami running everywhere and I can't feel neither Kurosaki's nor that cat's Reiatsu so I don't know where to go.” Uryu spoke and Chad frowned as he focused while looking out into the distance.

With a thought, the ribbons of spiritual energy were quickly and swiftly replaced by the information bars of everyone within his sight, Chad focusing his Pesquisa before smirking as he caught sight of Ichigo's energy.

“I know where he is. Let's go.”

“Woah~ There's another underground training ground~?” Orihime asked in awe as they all dropped down, looking around at it while Chad, Uryu and Tatsuki watched as Ichigo faced off against a cloaked man while hundreds of swords were stabbed into the ground around them.

Watching as Ichigo and the cloaked man moved rapidly across the battlefield while Ichigo pulled out and shattered a sword the moment he landed a hit, Chad turned his gaze before raising an eyebrow at the sight of Yoruichi sitting on a boulder in her human form.

“Who is that?” Uryu asked as he looked at the woman and Chad decided to stay silent as Orihime answered happily.

“Oh, that's Yoruichi! Yoruichi~ Over here~!!” The girl waved excitedly while walking closer, Chad and Tatsuki amused at the shocked look on Uryu's face while Yoruichi turned with a smirk when she saw the teens walking towards her.

“Nice work out there, especially to Chad and Uryu for facing the foes that they did. Orihime, good work on making sure everyone was protected and Tatsuki, nice work on making sure we didn't lose the most important aspect of our team.”

“O-Oh, it was no worries.” Tatsuki said with a slight blush and a pleased smile, glaring at Chad as he nudged her with his elbow and a smirk.

“Who is Kurosaki facing off against?” Uryu asked and Yoruichi smirked as he turned back to where Ichigo just blocked a slash, the clash sending another shockwave rippling through the air.

“That is Zangetsu, his Zanpakuto. What we're doing is getting Ichigo to achieve his Bankai.”

“Is that a level above Shikai?” Chad asked and Yoruichi nodded with a hum as they watched Ichigo get knocked back, the teen quickly dropping his broken sword and picking up another one right as Zangetsu charged.

“It is. Whereas Shikai allows a Shinigami to summon their sword's true form, Bankai boosts that true power by a factor of five to ten times or perhaps even greater depending on how strong the Shinigami themselves are.”

“And I'm guessing most captains have this?” Chad asked before letting out a soft sigh as Yoruichi nodded.

“Try all of them. To become a captain, a Shinigami must train to unlock their Bankai.”

“That was what he used.” Chad heard Uryu whisper to himself but decided to stay quiet about it as he sat down besides Yoruichi while watching his best friend train.

“How long do we have before the execution now?”

“We have today and tomorrow to get ready. The day after tomorrow, however, is when the execution is taking place so we have to prepare to attack the moment it takes place.”

“Hmm, I see. However, I have noticed that the Shinigami have gotten more erratic over the past two days.”

“I noticed that too. Perhaps something happened that doesn't involve us?” Tatsuki proposed with a frown and Uryu looked conflicted before looking at Chad as he spoke up.

“Yoruichi, is Aizen the lead captain in charge of everything?”

“Not in the slightest. The head captain's name is Yamamoto.” Yoruichi answered and Chad frowned as he and Uryu looked at each other.

“When Sado here came to fetch me, we almost got caught by a dark-skinned captain. He spoke of how this Lord Aizen would not be pleased at the fact that he couldn't catch us.”

“Hmm, that…that is quite intriguing.” Yoruichi muttered with a slight frown and the teenagers simply looked at her before looking up just in time to see Ichigo get sent flying through a boulder.

“Hah, looks like he's not getting it today.” The woman muttered as she stood up, dropping down from the boulder while Chad and the others watched as Zangetsu turned back into some kind of white doll-like figure and the swords vanished.

“Well, since we got two days before the execution, you wanna train together?” Tatsuki asked Chad with a smirk and he looked at her before shrugging as he stood up.

“Sure. Normal rules?”

“Yep, no spiritual energy.” She said as they dropped down, Chad stretching his arms as Tatsuki rolled her shoulders as they walked away before putting a few meters between each other.

“You ready?” Tatsuki asked as she went into her opening kata, to which Chad nodded as he raised his right fist to his head while holding his left arm parallel to the ground.

“Ready…” Tatsuki trailed off as she dug her feet into the ground, lowering her centre of gravity as she took a deep slow breath.

“Set…” Chad continued as he clenched and unclenched his fists, rolling his shoulders as he tensed his legs.

“Go!”

A/N: I'm so sorry for the late upload!! Power outage for the past three hours got me pissed off because I wanted to take a break today for the morning to recharge before I wrote, but when I started at 16:00, I only wrote up to 2000 words at 17:00 before the power was cut off.

Anyway, enough of the real life. Chad has gotten a new system update(which will not update until the TYBW arc so no need to worry about that) and he has also gotten a look of what he can achieve in the future.

Also, the team is now slowly unravelling the mystery that's happening in the Soul Society and learning what is truly happening behind the scenes.

However, we'll have to wait until next week to find out who is going to face off against who.
