109)True Form I
Added 2025-01-01 13:26:50 +0000 UTC”Excuse me, could you please repeat that?” Meredith asked as they all stepped back when Ingvild floated out, the girl frowning at their actions before nodding.
“I am Ingvild Leviathan and I have come here to warn Isaiah Azathoth of a grave danger that is to befall upon him and his loved ones.”
“W-What kind of danger are we talking here?” Everyone was confused as they heard Saji of all people stutter slightly as he spoke, Ingvild simply giving him a smile before answering.
“I'm a former member of a magician's organization known as the Wizards of Oz with our base being in the Dimensional Gap. Recently, our leader has been talking expanding upon our reach and this morning, we found out that he rescued and have allied himself with Rizevim Livan Lucifer as well as the Evil Dragons under his command.”
“I see. Can I ask that you disable whatever your ability you're using to dull their senses, please? It would help us trust you more.” Valerie asked and Ingvild looked surprised as she nodded before they watched as the glazed looks in Issei's and Saji's eyes faded away.
The moment it did, they were surprised by both Pawns leaping back and away from Ingvild, Issei staring at her with wide eyes while Saji fell to a knee and gasping for air.
“What's wrong with them?” Meredith asked as she glared at Ingvild, who quickly raised her hands and shook her head.
“I-I do not know! Ever since I woke up from the coma I was in for the past century, I found out that dragons enjoy being in my presence.”
“…Issei, did it feel like you're with Asia right now?” Samson asked as he turned to Issei, frowning as the teen gave a slow nod while staring warily at Ingvild.
“Y-Yeah, but worse. With Asia, it feels warm and comforting, but with her, it…it felt as if I was stuck underwater and I was unable to do anything but watch my body move as she wanted.”
“You two have any ideas?” Samson asked out loud while glancing at the two girls, to which Meredith looked at Valerie as the girls' eyes was focused on the nervous Ingvild.
“I have never read of House Leviathan having the ability to control dragons and that means a lot since I've read every book on the 72 Pillars and the Satan Clans that the Underworld has to offer.”
“I'm half-human, half-devil if that helps.” Ingvild added and Valerie's eyes lit up as she hummed.
“That explains it. A Sacred Gear that can compel and command dragons is not far-fetched considering that it may have been made from the soul fragments of many dragons fused into one, but for it to get to the level that it can control the possessors of a Heavenly Dragon and a Dragon King, that would put it on the level of a Longinus Gear.”
“…We have to wake our lord up, don't we?” Samson muttered with a sigh, which Meredith mimicked as she nodded and looked up at where Isaiah's room was.
“Yep. Oh, the ladies are not going to be happy about this.”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I hummed softly as I looked up at the rooftop, the different fragrances of the girls' perfume wafting throughout the room before my eye glanced at the room door as it opened and Valerie peeked in.
“Problem. Satan descendant with Longinus Sacred Gear.” She whispered in a soft tone and I frowned in confusion at that as I whispered back
“Vali?”
“No, someone called Ingvild Leviathan.” She answered with a shake of her head at my question, to which my confusion simply grew even more before I looked down at the girls only to give a sheepish smile at the four stares aimed at me.
“You know your voice is too deep to whisper, right?” Tsubaki asked with a raised eyebrow and I smirked while nodding before sitting up with the four of them still latched on to me.
“Val, tell her to come up. I'll talk to her here.”
“Ooh~ Nice loophole to get to work while still relaxing.” Serafall spoke with a smile as she spun around and laid with her head on my left thigh while Tsubaki sat on my right, Akeno and Kuroka wrapping an arm around their shoulders right as Valerie nodded and walked back out.
“So, what do you think a Satan descendant wants with their biggest headache?” Akeno asked as she looked at me and I frowned as I slowly shook my head while 'watching' as Valerie along with Samson and Meredith lead a girl that looked to be the age of Akeno and Tsubaki closer to the room.
“I don't know, but if they're going through all of this trouble to meet me, they're either very suicidal or they don't believe in what Rizevim is preaching to them anymore.”
“Which means that this is a potential opportunity for us to get some vital information on how Rizevim and his group works. Guess it's time for Satan Leviathan to work.” Serafall groaned as she sat up and I rolled my eyes as she tried on my left thigh only for Akeno to quickly switch their spots with a smirk.
“Oh, that's not fair.”
“Life isn't fair. Besides, I'm the fiancée here.” She said with a smug smirk while flashing her ring and I decided to stay silent and say nothing as I left the four of them to argue with each other.
However, as the door opened, the four of them quieted down as Valerie walked in, a rather beautiful girl with long purple hair following in after her with Meredith walking in after before Samson closed the door behind him.
“So, I hear you're looking for me, Ms. Leviathan.” I began as I gave her a comforting smile to show her we meant no harm, which seemed to help as she relaxed and nodded.
“Y-Yes, I have come to warn you of an attack that will happen within the following day or two.”
“And why would you do that? If you are indeed telling the truth by wanting to reveal this plan to us, you would just be betraying your friends and allies in the organization you are in.” Serafall continued and Ingvild bit her lip slightly as she looked hesitant before nodding.
“I am, but the organization that was incredible to me and the organization that it is now are two different things, especially with the fact that our leader has allied himself with Rizevim and his Evil Dragons.”
“Firstly, let us start from the beginning. This organization you speak of…what is its name?”
“They are called the Wizards of Oz, a group of rogue mages from the different magician organizations around the world that want to push the ethical boundaries of what can be done to find out how the world works.”
“Never heard of them. The name sounds familiar, though.” Serafall whispered in my ear and I gave a subtle nod as I looked at Ingvild before noting how her eyes constantly flickered towards the Satan in question.
“From the way you're looking at Serafall, I'm guessing you know of her, correct?”
“Yes, my full name is Ingvild Leviathan and no, I do not know what my father's connection was to the original Leviathan. I am also not a full-blooded devil, but a devil-human hybrid that have been hidden away by my family for the past century as I fell into a coma before waking up only a year ago. That was when the leader of our organization found me and recruited me into his organization.” She answered and I blinked before slowly turning to the shocked Serafall besides me.
“I feel like you need to take this one over.”
“Hah, you're right. Ingvild, can I ask what the name of your leader is?”
“Ozwald the Devourer of Hope.” She said and everyone turned before being surprised by the shocked and pale look on Serafall's face as the Satan took a deep breath.
“Sera?” I asked and she looked at me, surprising me by the urgent tone in her voice and the panic in her eyes.
“I-If she's talking about who I'm thinking of, we all NEED to go back to the Underworld right now.”
“Wait, what? Who exactly is this Ozwald?”
“The only human that achieved immortality by stealing it from one of the oldest devils still alive, MephistoPheles. The man has mastered and invented spells that most could not comprehend and for him to be actively helping someone like Rizevim, we…we can't stay here on Earth.”
“You and me. What would happen if he fought against us?” I asked and she simply scoffed as she crossed her arms and shook her head.
“Oh, either of us could kill him with ease, but that would either just be a body double of a fission clone made from parts of his soul. The man doesn't play fair as while we would be fighting his clone, he would be sacrificing the entirety of Kuoh Town for a mass-suicide nuclear spell that could wipe Japan from the map.”
“…Oh, we're dealing with a more psychotic Loki, huh?” I asked with wide eyes and Serafall nodded before turning to a frowning Ingvild.
“When was the last time you saw Ozwald?”
“Uh, this morning. He had just finished explaining his plan to Rizevim and has something Rizevim wants in exchange for someone that he wants.”
“And who would that be?” Meredith spoke up before we all raised an eyebrow as Ingvild turned and pointed a finger at the aforementioned girl.
“You.”
“Because she's a witch?” Tsubaki asked and Ingvild nodded as she turned back to look at me.
“Because she's a witch with one of the Holy Relics that has been trained by Rudeus Mathers and has the purest concentration of magical energy amongst the royal family. To any magician, the blood of someone like that will fuel powerful spells and if one can take their souls, it would be a massive boost to their own magical powers as well.”
“So, basically, he wants to use her as a battery?” Kuroka asked before snorting as Ingvild nodded in agreement with a frown.
“Yes, that is correct.”
“Well, it's too bad for him because he's going to have to go through the entirety of the Azathoth peerage to get her.” I spoke up with a grin, Meredith giving me a thankful smile before looking at Akeno and Tsubaki as the two of them spoke up.
“Don't forget the Gremory peerage. / And the Sitri peerage as well.”
“Well, that's good and all, but our best option is to run, relay this information to the other leaders and make a plan with them. Not to mention, you're not allowed to be fighting at all.” Serafall spoke while poking me in the chest and I winced at the harsh poke before nodding with a smile.
“Don't worry, I've learned my lesson on being hard-headed and thinking we can win every battle we take on.” I answered and she gave a thankful smile before I turned to the rest of my peerage.
“Sam, go get Issei and Saji and bring them to my room. Mere, you stay here and start activating the security and safety runes we have placed across Kuoh. Val, while she's busy with that, you need to activate the other runic patterns underground in case we need them.” I knew my wording confused everyone who didn't know what I was talking about, but Val's eyes widened slightly before she smirked and nodded.
“Yes, Lord Azathoth!” All three chorused in unison with a bow before leaving the room, to which I smiled before looking at the two girls on my lap.
“Akeno, Tsubaki, I'm going to need you two to go to your Kings and inform them that there's going to be an attack on Kuoh Town and we need everyone to go back to the Underworld. Don't worry, Kuroka will make sure that we all make it back home safe.”
“Fine, but this time, no fighting, okay?” Akeno whispered and I smiled as I gave each of them a soft kiss on the lips, watching as they teleported away before turning to Serafall right as she frowned.
“I'm guessing since Kuroka is the only one taking you back, I need to do something too.”
“Yeah, you need to go to the Underworld and tell everyone that we need as many of the leaders here to make sure that everyone makes it back. We don't know if it's just going to be a group of mages that Ozwald will send or if it's going to be Rizevim and the Evil Dragons. Therefore, we need as much help as possible.” I explained and she stared at me before nodding as she gave me a quick kiss, teleporting away right as I smiled and stood up along with a serious Kuroka while pulling and sheathing Gram at my side once more.
“Boss! We're back!” Issei shouted as he burst through the door, but I was both surprised and amused as both he and Saji quickly hid behind Samson the moment they saw Ingvild waiting for them.
“She's like Asia but far more powerful. We think it's a Sacred Gear that has possibly evolved into a Longinus like Meredith's.” He explained as I looked at him and I simply hummed before nodding.
“I see. Well, we don't have much time to worry about that now. Issei, Saji, you two prepared to teleport?” I asked and watched with exasperated amusement as the two quickly stood straight and nodded.
“Yes, Boss!”
“Good! Now, all we need is Meredith and Valerie to ge-!”
“Right here!” Meredith spoke happily as she entered the room, Valerie floating in alongside her as I smiled before creating a large teleportation crest below us all.
“Good. Then, let's head back!” Activating the crest, it glowed brightly and whisked us away from the mansion, but my eyes widened as it cracked before shattering, the room around us still here as they all looked at me in confusion and concern.
“Someone's interfering.”
“Apologies, Isaiah.” My eyes widened as I heard that, slowly turning to Ingvild right as I watched a dark silver crest on her chest flash and shatter.
The next moment, the world around me warped before I found myself standing in the middle of a barren field with rocky outcroppings and dozens of demonic-looking monsters roaming about, my surroundings looking far too familiar before I spun as I heard a yelp behind me.
“Meredith! Where are the others?!” I asked as the girl stood up and she winced before shaking her head as she looked at me.
“Still where we were. Kuroka had Ingvild sealed in one of her spacial cubes, but she was teleported away before we could ask her and then the same silver crest appeared under me before taking me away as well. Actually, where is here?”
“The Devil's Bermuda.” I answered her question as I looked around at my surroundings, the layout of it far too familiar as we looked to be in Agrukk's territory.
However, there were far fewer monsters around and the few that were had already ran away the moment they saw us.
“Hello there!” I frowned as I turned around at the familiar voice, glaring at the sight of Ladon, Nidhoggr and Azi Dahaka walking towards me with amused and gleeful smirks.
“Should have known it would be you bastards!”
“Now, is that any way to speak to the guys that took care of you for three days for free, might I add? I see some of our 'love' is still present on you, eh Isaiah? How's the missing eye?” Azi Dahaka asked and I chuckled as I unsheathed Gram from my side, each of them giving it a quick glance before looking back at me.
“I, who is about to awaken, am the Unholy Lycan who has devoured the Treasures of the Morning Star.” As soon as I began my chant, both Ladon and Nidhoggr were at my sides with their swords out, a wall of Holy-Demonic blades shooting out from the ground and stalling their attack for a brief second right as I unleashed a blast of demonic energy from Gram with a swing to cancel out the shadow bomb Azi Dahaka threw at me.
“Evil loathes my presence and good renounces my very being. Having stolen over a Thousand Treasures, these hands know not the Beginning nor the End.” However, the bomb was nothing more than a feint as numerous screaming souls exploded from it and raced towards me, to which I frowned as each soul transformed into me with their own version of Gram sealed at their sides.
“As the accursed crawls upon the known realms, I awake from my cursed dreams to shine the golden dawn of hope upon the living. Let all bear witness to the one known as the Sword Nephilim.” However, as they went to attack, I felt myself being pulled through space and time right as Meredith left a holy spell in my place, the clones all impacting the bomb right as it expanded and grew out to nearly ten times its size.
“Dance, dance, dance for thy hatred fuels the rage of the Demonic Emperor. So, as I pray, may the Void have mercy on your souls.” Nodding in thanks, she simply nodded back as she activated her Balance Breaker, the signature staff, dress and hat of Fantasia of the Forgetful Princess forming around her right as I stabbed Gram into the ground in front of me and unleashed a pillar of scarlet energy that pierced the clouds above.
“Abyss Side Balance Breaker: True Form Activation- Sword of Rupture, Ea!” Instead of summoning the world of Blacksmith's Playground, I instead activated my True Form as the pillar of energy around me vanished, every bit of clothing on my upper body burning to cinders as scarlet red streak tattoos appeared on my chest, the sides of my abdomen and my back and shoulders.
Gram on the other had taken on a drastic change as its blade had turned into a cylindrical, drill-shaped pillar with dull edges that was divided in three independently rotating segments engraved with crimson runic patterns from every runic language that I have learned and mastered.
Looking at how the middle section was slowly spinning clockwise while the top and bottom section was spinning counterclockwise, I looked at the wary yet surprised faces of the dragons before raising the blade above my head and as the drills began to pick up more and more speed until they sounded like high-pitched wails echoing across the landscape, I smirked as I grasped the sword with both hands before bringing it down with a single yet powerful chant.
“Enuma! Elish!”
