103)Dimensional Warfare I

“Five hundred years ago, we fought in a bloody war that scarred the Underworld and eradicated half the members of our species. It took us decades to assure the populace of our strength before they finally felt safe to walk through the streets of our cities.” Sirzechs spoke as he looked out at the armies gathering in front of the capital city Lilith, Ajuka humming as Serafall & Falbium sat in silence.

“And now, we must fight another war to protect the peace that we worked so hard for.”

“Hah, yes. I just wish we didn't have to let the children fight. This isn't their battle.”

“I apologize for not informing you all earlier, but I do know that children are very temperamental when it comes to rescuing their friends from the enemies.” Falbium spoke while looking at Serafall, who grumbled as Sirzechs smirked & Ajuka chuckled.

“I said sorry for that centuries ago.”

“Still your fault for charging head first into the Asmodeus camp when I got captured.

“And you're still alive right now because I did so you're welcome.”

“Hmm, I suppose I am.”

“…I'm still mad at you for letting So-tan take part.” Serafall muttered, the three men sharing exasperated looks before they all turned to the door as it opened, Sirzechs smiling while the other three whistled as they saw Grayfia walking in while dressed in a silver chest plate, gauntlets & boots with a battle skirt covering her lower body.

“Oh wow~ That's the first time I've seen you in your battle outfit since I kicked your ass all those years ago.” Serafall said with a teasing grin as Grayfia stopped besides Sirzechs, who chuckled as his wife rolled her eyes.

“Now, now, Sera. Let's leave Fia alone since she's not used to her outfit. Now, what brings you here, love?”

“Lord Odin & Lord Zeus have arrived with their armies at the north-eastern gate. Also, Lord Indra has decided to join Lord Ra & Lord Rudeus at their position near the north-western gate.”

“Are you certain we can trust Indra, Fal?” Ajuka asked while turning to Falbium, who sighed as he rubbed the back of his head while Sirzechs gave his wife a nod of thanks.

“Truthfully, every calculation I made for us to win this upcoming battle all leads to us either drawing with the enemy or suffering more losses if we don't have him at our side. Besides, he does seem to want to stop Rizevim out of some self-interest so we know that he won't attack us.”

“I hope so. Now then, let's go and-!” Sirzechs blinked as a deafening roar echoed through the sky, three of the Satans & Grayfia looking out the large window before being surprised at the azure blue western dragon & green eastern dragon flying down with two figures being seen sitting on the eastern one.

“Is…is that who I think it is?” Sirzechs asked while turning to Ajuka, who smirked & nodded.

“Yep, I called them and said we might need a bit of extra help in getting Isaiah back.”

“A bit? That's more than just a bit.” Sirzechs answered while looking back at the two dragons touching down, the two figures leaping from the second dragon's back as Ajuka shrugged.

“Hey, at least this way, we know Rizevim is definitely not going to try something.”

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Well, isn't this a surprise?” Odin spoke with a raised eyebrow as he watched two majestic dragons touching down, the eastern one looking a bit tired while the western dragon simply gave Odin a curious look.

Is there a reason my presence here would be a surprise to you, Odin?”

“And I see you're still as standoffish as always. Glad to see you haven't changed, Tiamat.” The god spoke with a smirk and Tiamat scoffed as her body was obscured with an azure glow, shrinking down drastically until it was about the same height as everyone else before it faded away.

“When you no longer owe me a chest of Dwarven craftsmanship filled to the brim with Elven gold, I'll start being nice to you.” The beautiful blue-haired woman spoke with a frown as she crossed her arms under her ample bosom, dressed in a dark blue robe that showed off her cleavage & a hooded cloak thrown over her shoulders & head that made her sky blue eyes glow from under it.

“…Didn't that happen like six millennia ago?” Thor whispered to his father, who simply nodded while pinching the bridge of his nose as he looked at the frowning dragon.

“Yes, it did. Hah, I suppose a woman never forgets when you slighted her once. Anyway, what are you doing here, Yu-Long? I half-expected you to still be gallivanting across the Eastern side of the Human World right now.”

I kinda was, but then these two idiots came & forced me to come with them for a battle of some kind.” Yu-Long said while nodding his head upwards, to which Odin narrowed his eyes before they widened slightly as Wukong & Buddha dropped down and landed with a soft thud in front of him.

“…Am I seeing this right or has Buddha finally left his little abode where he looks down on us all?” Zeus asked with wide eyes as Buddha stood up, to which the green-haired being simply rolled his eyes while chewing on the piece of red liquorice in his mouth.

“And? Is that a problem to you idiots or what?”

“N-Not at all, Lord Budda. It's just surprising to see you here.” Odin said with a slightly nervous smirk and Buddha just rolled his eyes whilst looking around at the shocked army around him.

“Spartans & Einherjar…No, not just Spartans. The 300. Not bad there, Zeus.” Buddha spoke with a smirk as he looked at the gathered men behind Zeus that had the signature red-plume helmets on their heads & the scarlet capes swaying in the wind behind them.

“Hehe~Not bad, indeed. Also, I can feel Ra & his Radiant Novas gathered to our left along with Rudeus & his Golden Dawn.” Wukong said with a smirk and Buddha hummed as he sensed in that direction before raising an eyebrow at the energy he felt there.

“Well, well~ Isn't that a surprise?” The being muttered as he felt Indra's energy, knowing that the divine has felt his as well as Buddha took a single step forward & stopped right in front of a nervous dark-skinned man with a low-cut and dressed in a blue Hawaiian shirt, white shorts & white flip-flops.

“Uh, hey, Lord Buddha~”

“Hello, Indra. I see you couldn't keep your Royal Vajra away from the battle, huh?” Buddha spoke while looking around at the nervous armored men around him, each carrying an urumi in their grasp that was sparking with electricity.

“Of course! You know, just wanted to show a good team spirit & all.”

“Cut the crap, Indra. I don't know why you're here and quite frankly, I don't care, so I'll just say this. I have grown a slight fondness for the little idiot we're about to save so if anything happens and I find that you were a part of this, I will come to your palace & I will kill every single member of your pantheon. Whether they knew of your plan or not, I don't care. Either Isaiah is coming home today or the entire Hindu Pantheon is going to cease to exist, understood?” Buddha said with a bored look, but Indra didn't mistake that for simple disinterest as he saw the power burning behind the boredom.

“O-Of course, Lord Buddha.”

“Good. I'll see you on the battlefield, then.” Budda nodded before he turned & stepped back, appearing next to an amused Wukong as the other gods & Tiamat flinched slightly to feel the man appearing next to them.

“Uh, what was that?”

“Nothing much. Just went & told Indra to be a team player or I'm destroying the Hindu Pantheon. I don't have to say the same to you guys too, right?” He asked before smirking as they all quickly shook their heads.

“Wonderful. Yu, time for you to earn your keep at my palace.”

“It's bad enough you gave my room to Azathoth, but overworking me is where I draw the line.”

“Yeah, yeah.” Buddha spoke with a snort as he leapt up onto Yu-Long's face, Wukong snickering as he did the same while Yu groaned as he slowly began rising up from the ground.

“…Did we really need him?” Odin asked while turning to Tiamat, who snorted while shrugging.

“I was asked by Ajuka to bring him here so I did. What happens after is none of my business.”

“Of course, it isn't.”

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As Sirzechs & the other leaders floated out of the teleportation crest that Ajuka had created, the Satan was quick to coat his body in his dense demonic energy as he felt the corrosive energy of the Dimensional Gap instantly to eat away at them.

Watching as the other leaders did the same, he nodded towards Azazel, who nodded as he took a bracelet from his jacket before putting it on his wrist.

Taking a deep breath, the Governor-General closed his eyes before dismissing his aura, everyone waiting a minute as Azazel slowly opened his eyes before grinning in triumph as he wiped the sweat on his brow.

"The energy shields work! Told you guys I knew what I was doing!" He declared with a smug grin, the gods & devils rolling their eyes as they took out their own bracelets and put them on.

"It wouldn't have mattered much if they didn't." Rudeus said and Azazel gave the leader of the Golden Dawn a shocked look as everyone hummed in agreement while Falbium held a hand to his temple.

"Everyone, remember to put on & activate the Energy Conversion Bracelets we gave you all."

"It's a good thing Valerie told us about the Energy Conversion Runes that Buddha had helped Isaiah perfect or who knows how long it would have taken us to get here." Zeus said and they all nodded while floating up skywards, most of the leaders watching as their men made it safely through & marched forward while Sirzechs frowned as he looked straight.

'Almost. We're almost there, Isaiah. Just hang on.'

“Is everyone ready?” Sirzechs asked as he took a deep breath, Ajuka humming as he scanned the entire army gathered at the edge of a monstrous island that floated in the middle of a vast void filled with a kaleidoscope of colours.

“The last of the army has arrived. You are ready to go.”

“Right. Ahem! Everyone, this is Sirzechs Lucifer, the leader of the Devils!” Sirzechs' voice echoed across the battlefield as he fuelled demonic energy to it, everyone paying attention as the man cleared his throat.

I did not think that we would get this many people to help, but I want to thank you all for risking your life to aid me in this battle.

As I'm sure you all know, the young man known as Isaiah Azathoth has been taken by the group known as the Khaos Brigade/ Qlippoth. This group is led by none other than the Infinity Dragon God Ophis herself. Truthfully, if that makes you want to turn around & head back, I will not blame you.” Sirzechs spoke and waited a few moments if anyone wanted to leave, smiling as not a single person moved.

Thank you. I am not good with speeches as I'm sure some of you have figured out, but let me just say one thing before we head into the battle of our lives.

Most of you may only have heard tales of Isaiah and think he is nothing more than an arrogant young devil that fought someone over his head, but to be honest, Isaiah is not like that at all. He is a young man with aspirations & dreams and he's the one that's been working the hardest to make sure that peace is achieved between our races.

From fighting Cadres to defeating gods, Isaiah has gone above & beyond what is needed of him and I am ashamed that I let him do all of that instead of enjoying his life as a young man like he should.

However! I now have the chance to save him from the clutches of a vile man and return him back to those that miss & adore him, but I can't do it alone, as strong as I might be.

That is why I plead with you all today! Not to throw your lives away for me or your leaders or the alliance but to help me save this one young man that I know can change the world for a better future!

It is foolish of me to think that everyone would throw their lives down for such a selfish reason, I know that, but today, I stand in front of you not as Sirzechs Lucifer, the leader of the devils! I stand with you on the battlefield as a soldier, an ally and a friend!

Now, all I can do is hope that you will do the same! Are you willing to put your life on the line today to help me achieve this foolish goal?!

Yes sir!”

Are you willing to do whatever it takes to bring this young man home and be assured knowing that the future will change to be better for your children & your descendants to come?!”

Yes Sir!”

Then, as we ride into battle, know that I stand by your side, men! Now, let's show this Brigade bastards what it means to be a protector of peace & prosperity!!”

FOR THE ALLIANCE!” Falbium roared and many more deafening roars followed his as the army began to march forward, Sirzechs smiling as he watched Spartans, Devils, Angels, Fallen Angels, Einherjar, Royal Vajra, Radiant Novas, Dwarves, Light Elves & Giants walking side by side to battle.

“Didn't think this day would come, did you?” Ajuka spoke with a smirk as he floated at his friend's side, Grayfia smiling slightly as she saw the slight tears in her husband's eyes.

“The day that we would be fighting alongside our enemies? I had dreamed of it, but I never expected it to come true. It…it's a beautiful sight.”

“It is, indeed, and it's all thanks to Azathoth. So, let's make sure he's there to see it too.” Zeus spoke with a smirk and Sirzechs chuckled, wiping away a stray tear before nodding with a determined smile as he looked at the base in the distance, which was also the only object on the island's surface.

“We shall, indeed. However, are you actually going to help, Lord Buddha?” Sirzechs asked as he turned to the green-haired man that floated on his staff and Buddha turned to look at the young devil before snorting as he shook his head.

“No, I'm just here to make sure everything goes smoothly, that Indra behaves and that the brat goes back home.”

“Wait, aren't you here to save Isa?” Serafall asked with a frown and Buddha simply smirked as he looked at her with a bored gaze.

“Yes, but only when you idiots are unable to do so. Besides, Isaiah is just one of the few apprentices I've grown an inkling to like so if he dies, I'll just either revive him or let him die.”

“Then, if I may ask, why are you here, Lord Buddha?” Rudeus asked while floating besides the divine being, who shrugged before digging into his ear with his pinky.

“Eh, boredom, mostly. It gets boring having to look down on you idiots so coming down & fighting a bit helps entertain me for a few centuries until I need it again.”

“Hah, of course. I suppose the textbooks we have on your are not wrong, after all.”

“If anything, I'm worse! Hehehehe!” Buddha cackled as he flew after the army, the gods & devils shaking their heads as Wukong smirked.

“Is he serious?” Serafall asked while looking at Wukong, who snickered & nodded.

“Oh, definitely. He's the definition of 'Do what I want' and if he decides he's just here to have fun, there's nothing anyone can do about it.”

“And what if Isaiah does die?” Sirzechs asked and Wukong hummed before shrugging.

“Like Lord Buddha said, he'll be okay with it. I'll help out as much as I can since I've come to like the little idiot, but my help might not be enough.”

“We thank you all the same. Hah, I suppose it's time for us to get ready for a battle.”

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“Hmm, not a bad army. And is that Yu-Long AND Tiamat? Whew, they're going all out.” Rizevim spoke with an impressed look as he watched the army marching towards their base, which was the only thing on the dusty island's surface since they didn't want anything to obscure their vision.

“Not just them. Upper left.” Azi Dahaka spoke with a nervous look in his eyes and everyone looked in the direction he said before freezing at the sight of a green-haired man looking bored yet intrigued as he floated closer towards their base.

“…Ladon, go to Isaiah. If it seems like we're about to lose, make sure you kill him & get away.”

“Right.” Ladon nodded at Rizevim's orders as he quickly turned & walked away, the other Evil Dragons now on full alert as Rizevim unfurled twelve tattered, bat-like wings from his back before he began to float upwards.

Snapping his fingers, hundreds of silver demonic crests appeared around the battlefield before thousands upon thousands of monsters from all supernatural origin walked out of them, each snarling & growling while glaring at the army marching towards them.

Not done yet, he nodded at Azi Dahaka and the dragon nodded as he raised his hands to the sky, to which hundreds of pitch black magic sigils with violet highlights blocked out the sky behind them.

Moments later, each shimmered as thousands of devils, Fallen Angels & human mages floated out of them, a few dozen more sigils appearing on the ground before rogue exorcists began to walk out of them as well.

Sirzechs! I see you finally grew the balls to come & face me, eh?!” Rizevim's amplified voice echoed across the battlefield before smirking as the army marching towards them stopped in their tracks when Falbium raised a hand.

I see your crass language has just gotten worse over the past five centuries!”

It has! Want to see if my power did as well?! I'd be happy to show you! Or your wife, if you want to! I still need to punish the silver-haired bitch for betraying her masters!” Rizevim said with a mocking grin, cackling as he felt Grayfia's demonic energy spark at his words.

Careful of what you say, Rizevim! Also, just because you can't get a woman to actually love you doesn't mean you can just take the wives of others! Does that mean it's true that your own mother threw you away because of how ugly you are?!” Rizevim frowned as he heard Sirzechs' words before turning to glare at his army as he heard a few snickers coming from them.

Ooh~! It appears even your men don't respect you that much, Rize. Are you sure you're the leader of this army?!”

I am! However, I see Falby has decided to take over for you! How does it feel knowing that your friend overtook the position of leader from you?!”

Considering I still have my friends here while all your fellow descendants are rotting six feet under, pretty good.” Sirzechs said with a shrug, smirking as he saw Rizevim glare at him before his face grew serious.

Now, because you're a devil and because I wish to avoid losing innocent lives, I'm going to give you & your men this one opportunity to throw down your weapons & surrender peacefully!”

Funny! I was about to say the same to you except I don't want you to surrender peacefully! Throw down your weapon and I can promise that we will make your deaths half as painful as they were going to be!” Rizevim shouted back, readying himself as he saw Sirzechs sigh before raising his hand to the sky as he saw Falbium do the same.

MEN! ON THE READY!” Falbium shouted, the army below him all moving to get ready and Rizevim grinned maniacally as he watched his snarling army do the same.

We take no prisoners! Show them no mercy!” Rizevim shouted at his men and both he & Falbium looked at each other before dropping their hands.

ATTACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

A/N: And the battle is underway!!!

I wanted to start it this chapter, but I decided to leave it to start on the next one.
