Assassin's Creed Valhalla photomode mod v1.0.24
Added 2021-03-26 13:28:01 +0000 UTC
Camera version: v1.0.24
Released on: 05-jul-2022
Compatible with: AC Valhalla v1.5.3+, UPlay / UPlay+ / Steam / EGS versions
Documentation: https://opm.fransbouma.com/Cameras/acvalhalla.htm
NOTE: If you're using BitDefender anti-virus it's likely its AI will flag the normal zip with a false positive, so I've also added a debug build of the same code which it doesn't flag as 'bad'. Neither are bad, but BitDefender's AI is too stupid to understand that.
Features:
- Full, unlimited camera control (gameplay, cutscenes, photomode)
- Controller or mouse/keyboard control over the camera
- Field of view (FoV) control
- Tilt
- Game pause / framestep / Gamespeed control
- Camera paths
- HUD toggle
- Time of Day control
- Fog control
- Hotsampling (resize the game window to any resolution)
- Cutscene DOF removal
- Pillarbox/letterbox removal in custom aspect ratios
- Wind control
- Make Eivor invulnerable
- Wetness control
- Higher Level of Detail selection
- Hide cloud shadows
- Higher resolution for shadow maps
- TAA jitter fix so no more blurry foliage when pausing the game
- Photomode range removal
- Configurable input interpolation for smooth camera movement/rotation/fov zoom in/out
Changelog:
v1.0.24: Fixed: Gamespeed was still broken since 1.5.3. Should be fixed now
v1.0.23: Fixed: The previous update didn't anticipate on the 'is paused' flag being in another location since v1.5.3 of the game so unpausing the game after pausing it didn't work.
v1.0.22: Fixed: Updated for game version 1.5.3.
Added: Camera movement/rotation/fov interpolation factors. These factors can be used to make the camera movement/rotation/fov be interpolated over multiple frames so you can get smooth camera movement, rotation and fov zoom in/out for videos without the need for camera paths.
Added: Support for the IGCS Connector so you can create automated horizontal panoramas and lightfield screenshots.
v1.0.21: Fixed: Updated for game version 1.5 and the release now includes all files. Sorry about that!
v1.0.20: Fixed: Updated for game version 1.4.1
v1.0.19: Fixed: Updated for game version 1.3.0.
v1.0.18: Fixed: Updated for game version 1.2.2.
Changed: Added faster, and better scanner for AOBs.
v1.0.17: Changed: Updated the playback / camera movement to be in sync with the framerate so it's now as smooth as it can get.
Changed: Updated the byte scanner with a newer version so it should be more reliable
v1.0.16: Changed: Internal system now runs on a faster loop so playback/camera control should be smoother. You might want to fine-tune the configuration of the camera a bit
Fixed: Resolution calculations for the hotsampling resolution tree now always fit on the monitor for the 1x variants.
v1.0.15: Added: Constant speed path playback.
Added: Ease in for controller input so it's more smooth and easy to control in live recordings
Added: Ease in/out for path playback is now optional
Added: Hotkey support for replace / insert new node on path.
Added: When a playback parameter is changed in the camera path window, the value is now send to the dll so it's also used when starting the playback with the keyboard/controller (except the 3 second delay).
Added: When the camera path playback is stopped, the 'active' node is now the last node passed.
Fixed: 90 degrees tilt rotation / reset through the keyboard.
v1.0.14: Added: Start delay for playback, unpause game at playback start, gamespeed control for path playback, double click sliders now resets them to their default value.
Removed: Gamespeed recording per path node.
v1.0.13: Added: Option to play back camera paths relative to the player location.
Added: 0.75x resolutions to all aspect ratios in the hotsampling resolution tree
v1.0.12: Fixed: Various fixes in camera paths

2024-07-21 12:53:38 +0000 UTCIt's at the top of the post, it's teh debug build for the people who have the AI of their virusscanners think the dll contains a virus (which is a false positive but what can you do... :( ). These ML driven scanners don't trip over debug builds for some reason

2023-11-12 14:29:06 +0000 UTCWhat's the difference between the regular one and the "d" one? I can't find it in the notes anywhere.

2023-04-11 15:26:27 +0000 UTCI've attached a debug build which isn't flagged by bitdefender's braindead AI, same code, same machine. Keep in mind tho that the tools are 1) injected into another process and 2) alter executable code in the running process. This is usually a red flag for 'real time protection' AV's and they'll remove the exe/dll's which does that. Excluding it works, but that's up to you

2023-02-07 12:18:58 +0000 UTCdownloaded it, but once i unzipped, boom. your far cry 6 too. yup BitDefender, strange thing is that after i delete it, made another scan and found it injected in one of my brave cache files.

2023-02-06 22:46:56 +0000 UTCLet me guess, BitDefender anti virus? ... Their 'AI' pattern scanner thinks it's malware but if I pull it through virustotal, 10% flags it but all different things and 90% finds it ok, so they're false positives. Fun thing is, if I build a debug build of the same code and upload that it's fine. Same code, same machine. It's cumbersome, I've sent false positive matches to BitDefender, they remove them for a while and then they pop up again. Virusscanners with AI pattern scanning think it's malware because it injects into a process and alters the executable in memory (it has to, it has to hook itself in the game exe) and to do so I have to call windows' own functions but malware (and debuggers too for that matter) use the same functions, so AI powered virusscanners flag these files as 'malicious' no matter what. You could download the file tho? If not, I'll upload a debug build tomorrow

2022-06-29 20:42:49 +0000 UTCYour camera mod runs like a charm, it deserves definitely his price, good work! Add only a weather control and invisible option ( it can be pretty messy in cities if guards notice you...) and it's perfect.

2021-05-12 16:29:51 +0000 UTChehe :D Thanks, yeah they drove me crazy as well! Waiting for the right cloud shadows, then it starts to rain or other things go bezerk and the moment is gone... Glad I rechecked that memory block to see if I could find them

2021-04-03 20:13:26 +0000 UTCHey, I just wanted to thank you for actually being able to remove the cloud shadows because THEY DROVE ME CRAZY each time I tried taking photos. You're a legend!
