For Cyberpunk v2.2, you need tools v1.0.44 and CyberLit v1.0.11
For Cyberpunk v2.3+, you need tools v1.0.45 and CyberLit v1.0.11
For CyberLit v1.0.10+ you need ReShade v6.0 or higher.

Older stuff is no longer available.
NOTE: Starting with 1.0.33, the CyberLit functionality is no longer available in the tools, you always have to use the CyberLit Reshade addon as with game release 2.0 the built-in cyberlit functionality in the tools always crashed the game.

- Changed: (IGCS, Hotsampling) Added a way to specify new aspect ratios and delete aspect ratios for the hotsampling resolution tree. The resulting list of aspect ratios is persisted per client.
- Fixed: (IGCS, Client, Hotsampling tab) The controls were configured wrong so the Refresh button wasn't properly aligned, causing wasted space next to the splitter bar
- Fixed: (IGCS, Client, Hotsampling tab) It could be the Hotsampling tab didn't have the default aspect ratios displayed so only the native monitor aspect ratio was added by default.
- Fixed: Tools updated for gamepatch 2.3

v1.0.44:
- Fixed: In a camera path it could be the tilt/roll angle of the camera outside the camera path was kept while playing, causing the wrong angles to be used.
- Fixed: When the camera was rolled/tilted in a camera path it could be the actual angle used was wrong

Hi! Thank you for amazing tools! I have one problem - I can't change FoV... I can move and tilt the camera, but changing FoV doesn't work (either with numpad and gamepad). I run the game in windowed borderless mode. I would greately appreciate any help.

I was wondering how to stop something happening inside of CP with the IGCS Depth of Field, I´ve used this in FF7 Rebirth and it´s been perfect! but for some reason in CP it seems to go around in a circle shape around my subject and the zoom isn´t appearing either, any help would be great, thanks man!

so im so stumped everytime i enable the camera instad of being able to move the camera itself it controls Vs headless body and the camera just stays in place.

It used to be that you could switch on the head using AMM. but I saw that indeed the feature is no longer available. Not sure if that's a temporary issue or that it's been removed forever. Wrt key input: if you enable the camera and have camera device set to 'both' or kb/mouse, the keyboard input is blocked, try to enable it (briefly) with numpad . Then you can press any key on the kb and it'll reach the game. Might want to lock the camera first with home.

hey, when I use V for stealth, (take download, like when she's chocking someone), normally in photomode (default), you can switch the camera, and now if I use your tool, there is no head, but in your FAQ you said I can use AMM to get the head back. So how can we do this? can you tell me the sequence please. Also I use your camera tool, I can no longer use AMM (the shotcut key wont work as if your camera tool)

If you're using frame generation, that might be the cause. With 2.3, and ray reconstruction, dlss quality and no frame generation, I can use fast 2-3 and sometimes fast 4. However in your setup it might be that the engine needs multiple frames to get a stable frame, so in that case you need to use classic 2-3 or maybe higher, try to set it 1 higher than when you get a vague veil when you start rendering.

Question about IGCS connector for 2077 - I have my Number of frames to wait set to 4 (I've tried others as well), and I still can't get a clean/crisp focus on my focus point. When set at 4, it's close, but still slightly blurred after a render. Is there another setting I'm missing to land that proper focus?

Please check if you have FSR enabled, if so, please disable that, as some users have reported that disabling that will stop the game from crashing during hotsampling.

Tested this on two setups: The game crashes when hotsampling on an Intel Arc A750 (even 0.75 sometimes; it's some gpu crash). NVIDIA card works fine. Any ideas? (Steam version, started via exe)

Keep in mind, no matter the device I choose on the config screen, Gamepad/Keyboard/Both this is still the case.

Hey Frans, I know I am late to the party. I tried searching to see if anyone had this issue but couldn't find anything. I am running 2077 on Steam, XBox controller. Is there a trick to getting the gamepad to move the camera? Gamepad is working to move the character but the minute I press INSERT and the camera is activated; gamepad continues to move character but not the camera. Turn off the Camera and it works normal again. I am sure I am missing something here. Help an old man out?

Please check if you have 'performance mode' enabled in reshade, it's a setting at the right bottom of the reshade window. It has to be off

Hi there! I'm trying to render with Reshade/Otis, but when I try to adjust bokeh, it just completely moves the camera after the camera is enabled and placed, as well as the secondary DOF image does not show up on my screen. Any suggestions/do you happen to know a fix? Also the Magnifier does not show up even when IGCSDOF is the only shader active. I've tried to clear the cache, uninstall/reinstall and restart my game, reshade, Otis tools, and my computer yet it still will not properly set up for rendering. Thank you in advance!

That's sadly something I can't fix :( the camera paths are relative to the player coordinates but these are kept in sync with the camera by the game so there's a catch-up action going on that I can't fix... :(

Yes it does work with the latest version, I keep it up to date. If you're using the GOG version of the game, be sure to disable the GOG galaxy overlay

Hey im having a bit of trouble with the hotsampling. Game is set to windowed borderless, hotsampling working (game turns black then goes into new resolution so yes its all good). But when i actually go to take a screenshot, it goes to any 1080p adjacent resolution. Aspect ratio only seems to apply as whatever i set it to inside the game itself in PM, and its always a 1080p resolution no matter what I pick. As a sidenote i run the game at 3440x1440 so it shouldnt be lowering the resolution in any case unless DLSS (Quality) is possibly an issue. (I pick 2.5x and sometimes 3x for shots and I have an RTX4070ti if that helps)

I recently moved my mods from my other computer to one that I swapped out my 3090 for a 4090. The game was technically(lol) freshly installed on this computer. Game crashes after I inject DLL all the time now. I managed to get it to work a couple of times before. Any ideas?

I recon you use the mouse? Could you change the mouse sensitivity factor on the configuration tab in the igcsclient to see if that changes things?

Yes. I saw I hadn't updated the description in the list of which tools to use. So for the game version 2.2+ you need 1.0.44 which is the latest

If steam runs as admin, and you run the game through steam, it will spawn the process as admin I think. If you run the game from the exe in the folder it won't be running as admin. BUt if the game runs as admin, then the tools have to run as admin as well. You don't need to run the game as admin however. Not sure why steam runs as admin in your case. In windows task manager -> details tab -> right click headers -> Select columns -> Check 'Elevated'. If it shows 'yes', then the exe runs as admin. If that's your game then the tools need to run as admin as well. (but again, just run the exe from the bin\x64 folder should not run it as admin) It's best to avoid running things as admin if it's not needed :)

ack i spoke too soon lol. It's not detecting that the game is running and it's not letting me look through my C drive for the game. it's only showing me a couple processes that are open (vlc, firefox, and some textinputhost). What did I do wrong? EDIT: ended up having to run it in admin mode, even though my game isn't set to run on it. Steam is, but not the game. So I'll leave this comment here in case anyone has the same issue. I'm slowly learning it's best to run just about every recreational program as admin.

I honestly don't know how the HDR feature works in reshade 6.4. Reshade 6.4 is the first with HDR features, but I haven't tried them. A HDR screenshot can't be of type jpg or png but has a different format/file extension. I don't know if Reshade 6.4 even can do that tbh...

Hello sir! Would installation of IGCS Depth of Field and its connectivity to Reshade 6.X allow me to screenshot in the hotsampled resolution and retain depth of field and HDR information? I've got IGCS running fine however when I use Reshade to try to capture screenshots the photos will appear washed out to the extreme and not capturing HDR effects at all. If you hotsample to a lower res it works? Please check if you run out of vram. hotsampling in CP is basically the tools telling the game to resize the window to the given resolution, and it might be that's too high for your GPU to handle. Additionally, the way this is done might be that it skips over some actions the game itself performs when you change the resolution in the menu. At least that's my assumption with the latest version of the game and the latest nvidia additions: it's become more unstable with hotsampling than it was before...

Updated to the latest 1043. Everytime I try to hot sample to 2.25x, my game crashes. It never did this before nor had any issues when the game was in update version 2.13. So, can you tell me what the hell is happening? Re-installed IGCS, re-installed the game, made sure the game was in windowed borderless. It would only work one time, and then I try to hot sample again, it just stays on the black screen for over a minute then crashes. It NEVER did this before. So what's going on?

Hi there. 2 problems since upgrading my game from 2.13 to the newest version and installing the newest version of your tools (Also having the newest Reshade-version installed): 1) For some reason the Reshade-settings don't get saved anymore per path-node. Before I could do a camera flyover and have different settings say with CinematicDOF at point A and at point B. Now it doesn't save anything anymore and I get only one current state of Reshade effects. 2) For some reason the camera perspective that's saved per node is always tilted like 30° to the right. I keep correcting it by pressing NUMPAD-2 and overwriting the saved node-state with CTRL-F10 but when I return to it it's tilted again... Any ideas? Anyway, thanks 1000 times for your work!

Run the game in a window (with a title bar), so not fullscreen, then hotsample to any window you want, e.g. to get a fullscreen window to play, click 'Fake fullscreen' on the hotsample tab

Hey I'm running into an issue which is that when I use hotsampling ever since the 2.2 update the window gets resized to 1080p. It's on windowed and everything, any clue what I'm doing wrong or what might cause this?

Sadly that's an issue with reshade: 6.3 and higher don't display the cursor, reshade 6.2 does. It's an incompatibility with the API which currently doesn't offer a way to force a cursor to show up on custom windows... To download reshade 6.2, change the version in the download URL for the latest reshade to 6.2

I’m encountering an issue with the CyberLit add-on window when opening it using F3. The cursor doesn’t appear on top of the CyberLit window unless I first open another overlay like Appearance Menu Mod or Cyber Engine Tweaks. However, I have to keep those other overlays open for the cursor to remain visible on the CyberLit window, which makes the screen very cluttered. Is there a fix or workaround to ensure the cursor appears properly on the CyberLit window without needing other overlays? Thanks in advance for your help!

You can use it inside the PM or outside, whatever you like :) Cyberpunk is pretty memory hungry. With all bells/whistles enabled it can eat up 24GB of vram pretty quickly, even though it makes little sense e.g. because you increased the resolution just a bit. It crashes always in the PM even with 1.25x?

Thank you, I was able to get this to work with 1.25x and 1.50x, just not any higher. Pretty cool mod! Can I still use photo mode in game or is the intention with tool created to replace photomode? This seems to be where I crash.

Even on a 4090, going to 8K might be too much. Try to go to a 1.25x resolution first and see if that works. Keep an eye on vram usage in windows task manager (performance tab, gpu at the bottom).

Hello, I'm having some issues hopefully will help me to be able to solve? I'm running CyberLitAddon V1011 and CameraTools v 1043, Cyberpunk game version 2.2. I've disabled all overlays(Steam, Xbox, Discord, even Afterburner), tried launching the client as administrator, tried launching from both Steam and Vortex and getting crashes when "hotsampling". I've followed the directions, running in windowed mode and was successfully able to inject the .dll into the game. When I change my resolution from 4K to 8K (I've also tried resolutions in between in 16:9), within about 10-12 seconds the game will lock up, I can't use my controller or keyboard and the game will crash. I am running also another Reshade mod with DOF enabled, native 4K resolution(no DLSS enabled) PQ and HDR. Current specs are 9800x3d, 4090, 64GB DDR5. Any thoughts on what I can try to address?

I found a solution! Reinstalling DSX and its drivers—Nefarius Virtual Pad Runtime and HidHide—resolved the issue. Gamepad input can now be blocked while using the camera, and everything is working as intended!

sorry about the not blocking stuff. Perhaps you can disable the controller in steam? (if you have the game through steam) ? (it should still pick it up through xinput via ds4windows)

ds4windows should block it, but if that's not working, then there's little I can do, I'm afraid. There's no difference in the code blocking the gamepad in 1.0.42 and 1.0.43...

Thank you for this incredible mod. it’s become an essential tool for my Cyberpunk 2077 screenshots! I’m running Cyberpunk 2077 (v2.2) with your mod (v1.0.43) and noticed an issue where gamepad input to the game isn’t being blocked. This causes the in-game photomode menu to register input while controlling the camera, making it difficult to use. When I tested Cyberpunk 2.13 with the same mod version (v1.0.43), the gamepad input was blocked as expected. I also tried the previous mod version (v1.0.42) with Cyberpunk 2.2, but the issue persisted. For context, I use a DualSense controller with DSX to emulate a gamepad and the HidHide driver to prevent double input. The issue remains even with no other mods installed. It seems specific to Cyberpunk 2.2. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for this fantastic mod!

Hello! I'm on the 2.2 version of the game, and using the latest version of IGCS. For some reason, when I turn on IGCS via the Add On menu and play with the Max. bokeh size, the camera only slides left to right (without the "dragged" lines like before whenever the bokeh size increased) and when I hit render, the subject just moves around, and the image doesn't look rendered at all. I'm not sure what to do!

Certainly was a one-trick pony scenario for me. Managed to do one 2.5x screenshot a couple months back with reshade turned on. Despite having everything psycho overridden on 4k, the game does run fine. The 7900 XTX on a Ryzen 7 5800-X with 32 GB of Ram can take a beating and dish it out back, even if the 7900 XTX isn't exactly built for RT/PT. Though it can handle it without upscaling (RP esp. when i'm mainly doing VP, PT is a different story because of course.) We'll see after i rebuild my pc if ICGS will have the same issues. Update: I tried to do the MPO strategy and remove reshade and it still fucks.

They work independently, install reshade with addon support, then copy the cyberlit addon file in the bin\x64 folder where the game exe is too.

I'm maybe a bit dum, or didn't read enough, but I don't really understand how to install cyberlit reshade addon. do I still need to use the whole camera tools system to install it in Reshade? I didn't really wanted to rest of of the tool. just more lights options with reshade. sorry if I missed it.

No idea, works fine here. Might be a mod tho, e.g. CET, or other. Also check if you don't run out of memory on your GPU. So try to hotsample a tiny step up, e.g. 1.25x or a bit smaller and see if that works.

Hi, after update 2.2 there is a problem with hotstamping. regardless of the resolution the game can crash, in the logs the error looks like this: ‘Gpu Crash for unknown reasons! Callstack here is probably irrelevant. Check if Breadcrumbs or Aftermath logged anything useful.’ I don't use any overlays, the game is only in windowed mode and all my mods are updated. without mods the same situation. before the 2.2 update everything worked fine and i never had any problems. what can i do about this problem?

In 6.2 things work fine, in 6.3.3 it indeed doesn't show the mousepointer. Will check with Crosire if this is something I need to fix or if reshade has a small bug. To work around it, open the reshade window

I’ve downloaded the latest camera tools and cyberlit files, but when I initialise cyberlit, I can bring it up but I can’t see the cursor. Therefore, I can’t select the option to create a light.

Full screen mode in windows enforces its window to be on top of everything, so that's indeed not possible

Hi. Have you ever encountered an issue in photomod where illumination decreases over time, if so how do you fix it? I'm not quite sure in what order it happens, but for example, if the camera is pointed at one place for a long time and there are light sources in the room added with the Charli mod, the level of illumination can drop by about half, it also sometimes happens when some ReShade effects are enabled.

Do you see an error in the log tab related to pause/timestop? Also, it might be a mod conflicts and intercepts the code the tools intercept. I don't think that's the case with CET + AMM tho.

Hey Otis First of all, thank you for your hard work with these tools! They're freaking amazing! :) Second of all, for some reason, when using the latest Cyberpunk tool with the latest game version and I freeze the game it doesn't work even though it says "game paused" at the top left Sometimes entering photo mode and freezing fixes it but also guarantees a crash, so I was wondering if there's a possible fix?

Please adjust the frame wait number to a different number (e.g. 1 more or less) to see if that fixes it. Sometimes a higher resolution makes the engine keep more frames in the pipeline

the IGCS DoF breaks whenever i hotsample anywhere past native res and blurs the entire image instead of focusing on one area..... DoF works perfectly fine in native res though. am i doing something wrong? havent had this issue until the latest patch (2.13)

Oh cool. Thanks for the tip. This tool makes taking photos so much easier. The orbit cam and low mouse sensitivity while holding the move button made the vanilla photo mode such a chore for me.

Sadly the game will auto-put its own window on top always, so I cant' fix that. Notifications for path nodes... noted, tho in general people really don't want more notifications, if anything they want less :) You could open the camera path window tho, and it'll show you if a node is added, what the current node is etc.

Thanks for the reply. The problem with the numpad seems to have fixed itself. I ran the program again for another screenshot and didn't have any trouble selecting weapons when I tried it after getting my pic. As for the ahk script triggering pause, yeah, I don't get it either. One other small issue I'm having now is that the "keep window on top" feature isn't working. It will keep the program on top of every window except the game, which I'm assuming is what it's meant to do, so we can see and adjust options while setting up scenes. I do not run my game in administrator, but I'll try running the program with it to see if that'll fix it. On an another note, if I could add a suggestion, it would be nice if there was a notification when adding paths and nodes and such, like we get when we get for performing other actions, such as activate/deactivate the camera. It would just be nice to have that feedback.

You can rebind keys in the keybindings, so you won't have double bindings on the numpad. For the script/mousewheel... that's weird. the tools look for the key that's bound to pause game in the igcsclient keybindings, which is by default numpad 0. You changed that to caps lock, and I don't see how a mousewheel up/down event can send a capslock event

I'd like to start out by saying WOW. Awesome job with this! This is a very powerful and useful tool and I am very impressed with it. However, I am having a few keybinding issues that are preventing me from keeping it running while I play. The first one is pause game. I have it set to capslock, but for whatever reason, mouse scroll pauses the game too if I do it long enough. It's actually a mouse scroll script I use for autohotkey, since I'm on a laptop. This is the script: *[::send {wheeldown} *]::send {wheelup} And the second is the camera control keys. The issue is that I have a lot of my custom keybinds for the camera controls set to various keys on my numpad, but I also have game keys set there too. Specifically, numpad 4, 7, 8 and 9 are used to equip my four weapons (including fists). But with the program running I have to press any of them multiple times, or do a long press, for them to actually produce the weapon I'm after. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Hello, with the newest version (v1.0.42 for Cyberpunk v2.13) the control for increase/decrease FOV (Numpad +/- default) is extremely slow. It works, but takes a very long time to zoom. I didn't have this problem with the previous version. Can you take a look at that?

Please run the game in a window. A black screen can be caused by many things... the tools just change the resolution values in memory, the resizing is then done by the engine itself, so if that results in a black screen, it sadly isn't fixable. For me it is black for a couple of seconds sometimes, and depending on framerate

When I enable the camera, my controller makes my character run around. I have it set to both M&K and Controller moves camera. Ive tried other settings and its still like this. Its frustrating because it used to work correctly. I dont know if I clicked some setting somewhere and cant find it or if something keeps breaking it in my game. Ive disabled mods (only have 2 any way) but doesnt fix. Maybe you know what Im doing wrong?

It should work in the photomode tho. Enable the camera when the photomode is enabled and you can move the camera using the tools. Using the photomode menu is a bit challenging as the kb is blocked, so you have to press Numpad . to enable input to the game.

Hi. I finally figure out the problem here. Your mod doesn't work when in photo-mode in cyberpunk. I was assuming I had to be in photomode (sorry if I didn't see the instructions for that), but once I tried it outside of photomode, then it works with keyboard. Still doesn't work with ds4windows and game controller, but that's ok for now.

And you configured ds4windows properly (you run it with the game)? Usual troubleshooting: you don't see any errors in the log tab of the igcsclient? If you use the mouse or numeric keypad (numlock on) the camera moves? (assuming you didn't change the camera device in the configuration tab)

Sorry but it appears your mod doesn't work with Cyberpunk 2.12. I tried your suggestion and installed ds4windows. Made no difference whatsoever. When I enable the camera, it stays fixed and the controller moves my headless character around in the scene. Will you be able to fix this? It's the only reason I sub'd here.

If I suggest you need ds4windows otherwise it won't work, then chances are, you need ds4windows otherwise it won't work :P (steam communicates with the controller and the game, but my tools communicate with windows and its xinput system, which doesn't communicate with native ps4/5 controllers)

If you use a playstation controller, you need ds4windows/hidhide (from the same maker, free tools) to make the controller appear in windows as an xbox controller, because the tools work with xinput (the system in windows for gamepads).

I tried this and it doesn't quite work. I selected to use gamepad to control the camera. Injected the DLL properly and use keyboard key to turn on camera and saw the little in-game message. But when I use controller, my headless V runs around and camera doesn't move.

Ok. If you have reshade installed, it crashes with whatever resolution you hotsample, but if you don't have reshade installed, it hotsamples ok? That's a bit unclear to me from your posts 24GB should be enough to go to 5K. Tho with everything at max in the game settings it can still be very memory hungry when going a lot higher.

Well even trying 5k or lower than 3k crashes my game. It handled 2.5x hotsampling with before. the 7900xtx has 24 gb of vram.

It works fine here and on other people's machines, so not sure what to tell you only that hotsampling too high crashes the game. Try a slight higher res than what you use for playing and check how much vram is in use.

I don't use Afterburner at all. I have a 7900 XTX and managed to hotsample once to 8-9K from a 4K monitor. Though i am aware that either Reshade works and Otis doesn't and the other way around

v1.0.41, as the latest version of the game requires the latest version of the tool. I added older ones for the people who didn't upgrade their game because of mods. For cyberlit you need reshade with addon support as it is an addon for reshade. :) Be sure to download the reshade version with addon support (it's the bottom download button on the reshade site, see the documentation. https://opm.fransbouma.com/Cameras/cyberpunk2077.htm)

It's a first person game, so a head has to be inserted with a mod. I can't do that for you. AMM can in some occasions, (even in gameplay) but that's not 100% guaranteed either.

Disable the GoG overlay in the game, that'll prevent teh crashes. You can start the game from teh gog galaxy client.

Hiya! I'm trying to use the camera mod for Cyberpunk, but it seems like I am unable to use it. I've had issues with the game crashing when I used to launch it via GOG after installing ReShade - however, I was able to find a way to start the game via the Cyberpunk2077.exe in Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64, but it seems like the camera mod is unable to pick up the .exe. I tried manually injecting it from active processes, but it doesn't appear in the list even though the came is running. Everything is installed, shader toggler, igcs, etc. (it's installed where I am starting the exe from... e.g. when I did this with BG3, it wasn't an issue, the camera mod worked fine), but the camera mod itself, when I try to use it, is unable to pick the game up no matter what I do. Pressing spacebar I think will still take the screenshot. It has been quite buggy tho, with or without the tools, taking a screenshot with the pm either didn't save the shot for me or sometimes in the wrong place... I'd use reshade instead for taking screenshots, you also get a lot of effects with that which are better than the in-game pm ones (e.g. dof)

during the romance cutscenes I can't seem to move the camera, unless I press numpad 0 to pause the game, is there any way to move it as usual while the cutscene and game is playing? I know there's an Unlocked Cameras mod on nexusmods but it actually forces the camera to be free no matter what, I want to be able to toggle it on/off

Ah that is because there has to be a focus value, otherwise all shots taken by the addon will all be the same and no dof is going to work out. Max bokeh size should have a value > 0 (sorry I said 1, but > 0)

It's weird - shader is at bottom of list as always, I configure the DOF (frame wait 4 and 'slower' render) and click Start Render then black screen. I think I might have narrowed it down, though - if I don't set any focusing value (i.e. it stays at '0', bokeh value 0.0001) I get black screen. If I focus on anything in picture with no changes to bokeh value then all is good. I just have a memory of sometimes just rendering without changing focusing value and things worked - maybe I was wrong. Anyway, I can get a render now so all good - just got to try some hotsampling .... thx for your reply

Loving the igcs add on. For some reason today, every time I start the render the screen goes black and there's no screenshot to capture. Checked the DisplayDepth fx and it looks like the right buffer is being used but I'm at a loss. Any ideas?

If the effects use the depth buffer, it might be reshade picks a different depth buffer after hotsampling (this happens sometimes) and as it's the wrong one, the effects won't work. perhaps that's it?

Works fine here, I can't reproduce it. Could you double check you have the latest tools version ? Also, try without any mods to see if a mod perhaps causes it to fail. hotsampling up to 3x is a bit extreme tho, especially if you have everything enabled in-game. Try 1.2x or so first to see that the hotsampling at least works ok

On the new 2.12 update whenever I try to hotsample the game changes for a second goes black and crashes, I don't have GOG and all my other ReShade, Connector, Tools ect are up to date would this be something with the update maybe since I never had this issue even up to 3x hotsample and previous updates.

Hmm, might be the game's trickery with the game window... E.g. you can have the game window's title bar as active and also another window in windows... it likely does that. The top most window is part of my system I built the cameras with and it usually works ok, tho if it doesn't work, there's little I can do (as ... the window is the top most window. But if the game also sets its window as top most window when it's focused, there's nothing I can do really... )

be sure to have the latest version of teh game and the latest version of cyberlit. If you use an older version of the game through GoG because of mods, you need to be sure you have the right cyberlit version. Also, the latest version of Cyberlit relies on Reshade v6.0+, so if you have an older version of reshade installed, it won't work.

That's by design, you can't hotsample with a lower -res dof result. you have to render the shot in the higher resolution (which might take more time). So set it up on the lower res, cancel, hotsample, start session and render it (might need to readjust the focusing a little bit at times).

Hey, I have a inconvenient problem with hotsampling and your IGCS Connector! Basically, I setup my DoF and render, then I hotsample to say 4K but my game turned black. I can open ReShade, deactivate the shader and screen is as it should be. But I have to rerender the DoF. It does that anytime, any idea why that might be?

You have to run the game windowed (so in a window, not borderless windowed), and then use the hotsampling resolutions (and 'fake fullscreen' to play) to resize the window.

Not sure why but hotsampling does not work for me in this newest update. If i switch to 4k and then screenshot, it will still be a 1440P photo the exact same before hotsampling. It is only stretching a 1440p video compared to making the game actually look 4K. Do you know what may be the issue?

To reiterate, I can use the PM Lookat controls you have in v1.0.35 in CP v2.1; they DO work on NPCs. I just can't hotsample without your later versions. I do want to emphasize I wasn't asking you to revert the revamp you have placed. I understand you are wanting to ensure that control for PM users and I agree with having that change. All I was asking was just for an alternative version file where I have the hotsampling control from your latest versions, but the old PM control code was in place, regardless if it's broken within Cyberpunk's Photo Mode. Hence why I offered to chat with you offline and test it out. If testing this route isn't an option you're willing to go down at all.... I understand.

Sadly it's not possible since 2.0 to use the old lookat system for npc's.... I wished it was the case, but the overrides I made don't work anymore so I had to build new ones from scratch. As I could only make them work with V and the nibbles replacer I shipped that as it's at least something.

Dang. So long story short, I just was lucky that whomever I locked target with in AMM and activated their "look at target" controls, your Camera Tool for PM Lookat also locked in. (Been using this method long before Phantom Liberty dropped but never knew I just lucked out.) So if I still want that control in 2.1, I'm stuck with v.1.0.35 but lose out on your high rez... and the reverse is true if I go with v1.0.39; I get high rez but lose out on those PM Lookat controls I love so much. T_T (I've used both version in 2.1 to confirm this all true.) Well, I get why you revamped for the Nibbles replacer, and that I'm probably the odd one out for wishing to have your old PM controls back, but do you think it's possible to be able to just take the PM controls from v35 and have that in v39 instead of the revamp? I'm willing to chat offline about it (I'm in the AMM Discord Community too) and even help quality test it. I have lots of reasons why I switched from Cyberpunks Photomode and only use Director Cameras now, but I think the biggest is group shooting. I could spawn the whole SAMURAI family and pose each one of them for a group photo without the limitation of PM or worry I would accidently exit PM and lose all my work.

If you don't use the Nibbles replacer, then the lookat controls in teh tools only work on V. if they did work on an NPC that was ... luck :) In the patches (e.g. 2.0) CDPR changed things so this doesnt' work anymore. I got introduced to the Nibbles replacer to replace nibbles with an NPC (which one is controllable through AMM) and you can with the tools control the lookat of that NPC.

I did not install the Nibbles replacer nor have I ever installed it previously. I just use AMM spawns and Scene Packs for my VP. I did however try to enter Photomode and play around just to see if I could kick it active, but to no avail.

You did install the amm addon for the nibbles replacer? (or whatever it's called) so you can choose an additional character for nibbles in the pm? If you did, it still might glitch sometimes, i.e. you might enable lookat in the pm for the replacer (and V) and then use the tools sliders but the eyes might not work, disable and enable lookat in the PM should fix it.

Hello! I'm not sure if this was asked already, but wondering if there are instructions on how to use PM Lookat with Active AMM Spawns, or if it's even possible anymore. In previous versions, before the PM revamp, I was able to use the Lookat controls on spawns through AMM's Target Tools after activating the Current Target "look at" controls. However now with the revamp in v1.0.39, I can't get it to activate at all on the target, no matter what order of operations I do, and all the documentation you have point to it being for Photomode (only?).

What the game does when you hotsample is something CDPR has to fix, I only change the resolution of the game and the game then reacts by resizing the viewport. They added more features to the raytracing in the game and that is more heavy than before. To be honest 2x is quite a step, I don't even hotsample 2x on m 4090 in this game

Hello! I've also been having issues with hot-sampling on 1.0.39 that I wasn't having on previous versions. Prior to this update (game & cam), I used 2x with no problem, maybe a little stutter sometimes, but nothing too disruptive. Now even hot-sampling to 1.5x takes a much longer time to load and the game is basically a slideshow once it does. I've tried it on GOG and Steam versions of the game, with and without mods or Reshade, and the result is the same across the board. I'm on an RTX 3070 Ti with a native res of 1080, if that info is of any use.

Ty for the quick response yea after tinkering with the settings a bit so far 2x (which is only 5120x2880 on a 4090, was hoping to reach at least 3x but that causes crashes) seems to be stable and the issue with my black screens was my 2nd monitor that wasn't even powered on at that time (but plugged into my card) but seemed to cause these glitches and turning it on fixed it and also solved the issue of my window not properly scaling to my main monitor.

The black screen is the game, you have to wait a bit. On my system it usually is 5 seconds or so, but it depends on the framerate at the higher resolution. try to hotsample first to 1.5x or so max, and see if that works for you

Hello, whenever I try to hotsample the game to a higher resolution my game screen just turns black but nothing else happens, so I have to click fake fullscreen again to get it back to normal. Also whenever I try to run it on a higher resolution the game also occasionally crashes, no idea what the issue is. Everything else works perfectly fine.

Hello! When I try to install Cyberlit (Reshade Gui>Addons tab>CyberLit node>Initialize CyberLit) the following message appears: "This Cyberlit add-on is incompatible with your game version! Stuttering is sadly not something I can fix, the camera runs in-sync with the main thread, but the game might have a delay between image on screen and camera movement, which could be out of sync with the character data I'm reading for the camera path placement. (so the camera plays catch-up every time which causes these stutters). The loop not working is odd. If you have the game paused and play the loop does it work? Be sure to start the path using the Play button tho, not the keyboard shortcut, as the 'loop' setting is passed to the dll from the window, the keyboard shortcut is handled by the dll and it doesn't know about what's in the path window

I got it to work!! Thank you! Now, the only other issue I have is that while driving the car and having the camera path playback, the car movement is jittery. Pause the game, setup the camera path around the car, play it, see if it indeed follows the path you want, then open the camera path window, you'll see a checkbox at the top 'relative to the player'. Also enable playback in a loop. Then play the path and unpause the game

I read through the documentation that you linked on here but I just have trouble understanding the setup and was looking for more of a visual aid. I'm trying to do that type of camera pathing in Cyberpunk with V driving a car.

I dont know if I am doing something wrong but when I try to take a picture with the camera enabled in photo mode the screen gets distorted and the game and camera crashes. I get a gpu error. Is there a different way I am supposed to take the picture? Hope you can help me. I am also not using Cyberlit at the moment.

haha I have no idea! :) Well, if you want to prevent the camera from moving, press the HOME key to lock the camera from moving. If you have an xbox gamepad (or ps4/5 with ds4windows), use that for camera movement (set 'camera device' on the configuration tab to 'gamepad') so using the mouse doesn't move the camera.

Oh dang I had it bugged for years and now it works as intended 🤣 what did I do?? Ok I guess I will get used to it, would always set up the shot first but could always shift slightly if it was off cuz of the slowness

It should never have 'snapped' back to monitor size :) Hotsampling is really resizing the window to a massive window that doesn't fit your screen. That's why I described to first setup the shot in a resolution that fits your monitor, then when everything's ok, hotsample to a bigger resolution to take the shot, once the window is rendered and you see an image (as CP tends to first show a black screen for a few seconds), take the shot and you're done. As hotsampling causes the game to slow down a lot, it's not advisable to setup the shot in the hotsampled resolution.

It used to hotsample zoom in and resize itself to fit my screen, so when it rendered my screen and shot would look the same and I could see what it was going to do. Now it just zooms in. And it’s always done that for years. Now it isn’t resizing to my screen and if it’s made my camera jump I don’t know what I’m taking a screen of

You set up your shot in the normal gameplay resolution (or a window that is fully visible on screen), then hotsample to a resolution bigger than that, e.g. 2x. This gives a window with the game rendered much bigger than your monitor and it will looked zoomed in (as you see just a part of the window). Then take the shot when it's fully rendered, and then go back by clicking 'fake fullscreen' again in the hotsample tab. I don't know what it is you're experiencing tbh. If you press spacebar in the photomode to take a shot, that is currently broken. Also tools older than 1.0.38 won't hotsample properly on game version 2.1, you need 1.0.38

sorry I edited it but it didn’t save, the more it hotsamples the more it zooms and gets stuck, but not zooming back out again like it used too, it can also make my camera jump. Basically my screen and my screenshot will look nothing alike anymore. (I take screens with steam) are you saying the bug was when it would zoom back out and show accurately what I’m taking a screen of? Rather than zooming in?

yes that's the goal of hotsampling: it creates a massive window that doesn't fit your screen, it will have a big resolution so taking a shot at taht moment gives a shot with high resolution (taking a shot with reshade that is, using the pm is broken atm, hopefully fixed today) 4x is pretty big tho. I never go beyond 2x on my 4090 :)

Yep, that's a known issue I hope to address today. To work around it, press Numpad 0 to unpause the game (as the game is paused and that's causing the issue)

Camera Tools break "skip time" in game, patch 2.1 / tools 1.0.38. After injecting hooks if you skip time using normal in-game menu, camera stays in "blurred" mode, game is paused and you can't move . Does not happen if Camera Tools are not injected.

Yeah ones lower than 4x work but I used it always use 4x maybe not working with new resolution settings. The camera zooms in a lot though when it hotsamples which is never used to do and the UI is massive only can see a quarter of it on screen and the screens I take arnt what I see on my screen all zoomed in it’s zoomed out

ah the on top might fight with the on top setting for the game window as they are doing something weird with that (only with cyberpunk you can have 2 active windows on screen... it's weird). The hair shadow... might be related to modded hair, as far as I know modded hair might not cast proper shadows still.

Oh it’s not in the hotsampling section it’s at the bottom bar. Think maybe it’s certain areas of the fps gets a little low. Thanks for the quick answer. Also this has been a long time thing but I was wondering, what is with the floating hair shadow that happens in cyberlit when enabling shadows. Turn off shadows it disappears but why does the hair shadow float away from the head (I know it’s not your mod it’s the game, but it only shows with cyberlit. And wondering if there has a way to fix the floating hair shadow bug I haven’t found)

Might be due to conflicts with other mods or e.g. CharLi, I only had crashes when using CharLi. The lookat stuff can be a bit awkward, it's sadly not doable to make it better, as it's not possible to determine what is what. Top button for hotsampling is moving the top of the window to the top of the screen, it's not an 'always on top' button :)

Also controlling the eyes can get a bit wonky not pointing where I need them too. is there a way for OTIS to sit on top on the cyberpunk game screen rather than tabbing in and out? the top window button isn't doing it

I do have charli installed, but indeed when I used it it also crashed the game... Re: reshade, be sure you download teh reshade with addon support. On the reshade download page you see 2 buttons, pick the bottom one which says 'with addon support'. :) The top one doesn't support addons

Thank you for your response so I knew it was just a ME problem and not a general issue. Based on that I did some extensive testing. It appears to have been related to using CharLi. Setting the CharLi lights BEFORE pausing and unpausing seems to MOSTLY prevent the crashing. Doesn't guarantee it is the SOURCE, because well, mods are so entangled, but it fixes it for me at least. Unfortunately I have not been able to get the CyberLit add-on to work through Reshade how it is set up now. It just always tells me my version of Reshade doesn't support it, even though I have the latest Reshade installed. I'm sure it is user error of some kind, or maybe the Reshade .ini config that I use. I intend on trying to figure that out this weekend! Thanks again so very much.

Is anyone else having the experience of having the game crash to desktop on trying to use the "pause game" function while in camera mode in the latest update? It's happening to me every time I press the button and that didn't happen before. (Of course, so many things have been updated around the same time...)

Thanks so much, someone in the AMM Discord helped me figure out how to do it now. You have to enable Experimental Fun Stuff under Experimental Settings, then Toggle V Head, then put in photo mode - you don't have to pose or anything, just put it in photo mode, then hide photo mode UI, then enable your camera and viola - V Head shows up in gameplay scenarios, sitting, etc. Just seems to be a little bit more complicated than it used to be. But thank you so much for trying to help. Your photo tools are BOSS.

From what I know I think after patch 2.0 it's no longer possible to get V's head back in gameplay scenarios with AMM. You need to open the pm and use poses

Hey y'all. So question because my brain is swiss cheese and I should really write things down... At some point I figured out how to get V's head to show - using the AMM function - when she was sitting take pictures of this using Otis_Inf camera but for the life of me I can't seem to figure out how I was doing that and all I get is headless V. ok so i did what you said and even took it a step further just to make sure i dont have any traces of whatever was causing this and i removed everything, verified game files, reinstalled the cam mod and cyberlit and now it works. my only explanation is that maybe there was something wrong with my game update, cause i checked and double checked and tripple checked and there was really no trace of the old cyberlit file -.- thanks a lot once again for all your help, i'm sooo happy it works again

In reshade's addon tab, at the top there's a folder, the 'addon's search path'. Could you check if that's set to the cp's bin\x64 folder? So you know for sure *that's* the folder reshade will be looking for .addon files. Then make sure you copy the right file into that folder. (you might want to remove the cyberlit.addon file first, then start the game to see no cyberlit.addon file is present). I double checked, the 1.0.9 zip file does contain the 1.0.9 addon

hey again :) ok so i checked and you are right, i have the 1.0.8 installed. problem is, i actually downloaded and installed 1.0.9, so i don't get it... i redownloaded today just to make sure i didn't i dunno, click on the wrong version, i checked and the file says 1.0.9 yet when i start the game, it tells me i have the old version. i deleted the old version when i unpacked the new one and i checked several times, it really is gone so i don't understand what i'm doing wrong :(

1.0.9 is compatible with 2.0.2, please check if you have indeed 1.0.9 installed and not an older version. if it isn't compatible it will give a list of things that didn't match in the reshade addon tab

just updated to 2.02 today and when i use cyberlit my game crashes. i checked in the addon tab of the reshade and it says cyberlit is not compatible with 2.02. i use camtools v. 1037 and cyberlit 109 the camera works fine, it's just cyberlit that is giving me a headache...

Thanks for the feedback! :) It's strange tho that you couldn't swap the id's to make it work... Rehook xinput isn't related to this. That's setting the hooks in xinput dlls again. This is sometimes needed if the game delay-loads the dll's (e.g. only after it detected a controller). As the dll's weren't in memory in that case when the camera tools were injected, no hooks were set and no gamepad input is blocked. But that's not the issue you were having.

Yeah, I found the problem and wanted to put together an explnation for others having the same problem and didn't have the time yesterday. Basically, I use a gamepad for Razor which is also considered as a "controller" in windows because of analog input possibility. This makes windows considering this gamepad as the default one even when set up differently in joy.cpl or changing the IDs of the gamepads with a soft like JoyIDs. I got the Xbox controller to work by: - Unpluging the Razor gamepad - Pluging the Xbox controller with a cable - Rebooting the PC - Restarting the game & your software Still trying to figure out a way to make the two devices work when plugged together. I will update if I find a solution. I checked multiple times the camera device in the preferences of igsclient. I also tryed the "Rehook Xinput" button, I suppose makes the software to update the connexion with Xinput or something similar ? Anyway, the problem is not caused by your software :)

You deleted your post? In any case, the tools work with the first controller defined in windows, but any xinput controller will do. Also please check to make sure in the igcsclient, configuration tab, the camera device is set to 'both' or 'gamepad'

If you're using a ps4/5 controller, you have to use ds4windows and hide it for windows (it's a setting in ds4windows), so it's used as an xinput controller. the tools work with xinput which is the default controller api for windows.

It's likely the GOG Galaxy in-game overlay. It also causes crashes inother gog games. Please disable that overlay in the gog galaxy settings

Wondered if it's the steam or gog overlay, because the previous tool doesn't support the steam taking a screenshot(nor v moving around without her head during the camera enabled), I tried to run the .exe without overlays and it still crashes.

Sorry for the confusion, I had a little bit more time to test this, and its not just your tool that is causing this behaviour, changing ingame settings can cause this too, not only resolution, pretty much anything else graphics wise.

Hey, i am getting a driver timeout / black screen everytime i am trying to hotsample a window to a different resolution. This doesnt happen when i change window size from ingame settings menu. I know it might usually point to AMD notoriously bad drivers, but while it does happen everytime on newest ones, resizing windows on older drivers (i.e 23.5.2) would give a crash occasionally and not always.I am not having these kind of issues in different games while using your tools (Horizon Zero Dawn works perfectly). Any chance you could help?

I (maybe?) found a way to force it but the game definitely struggles to figure out whats going on as it tends to crash when trying to do anything else afterwards. But I use the pause gameplay function of IGCS while in third person, then switch to first person using the default 'Q', THEN enable the IGCS camera. But, as you can see in the linked example screen, there's.... problems.... lol. This is a problem with how the game uses the same code for head eyes and torso, so i have to guess which memory block is which. This sometimes goes wrong. To fix it disable lookat controls in the client and re-enable it, the eyes now work

That’s currently not possible indeed, 3rd person view on/in vehicles uses a different camera layout and although that’s easy to do, it’s a bit hard to determine for the code when these are used. So long that’s not solved I can’t add support for it

Yeah when you have the camera in 3rd person mode for car/bike, the camera structure in memory is entirely different. I know where it is, but I didn't find a way to detect if it's used or not, so I skipped that for now. (if it's not used I can't bluntly write to it as it might be used for something else, causing the game to crash )

thank you for the reply. so it turns out the problem really was me. if i inject while being in a car, the camera doesn't get enabled. it gets enabled the moment i leave the car tho. and in order to use the camera while in a car i need to activate the in game photo mode, which is something i didn't know til now. it was maybe written somewhere and i missed it :) sorry for posting without testing more first :) and thank you for your constant amazing work <3

I have the gog version but know many people playing the steam version and they have no problems. Be sure to use the latest version of the tools (so there shouldn't be any errors in the log tab) Also I inject when the game is loading or has loaded a save

So… using the mods and it’s totally awesome. Using it to create battlemaps for my cyberpunk vtt rpg. Now I want to take it inside the building but have come across issues with the ceiling making it impossible to get good top down shoots. Anyone has any ideas/suggestions/mods to solve this?

hmm. Could you check if windows blocked it? right click the addon file in file explorer -> properties -> general tab, see if there's an unblock checkbox. Also, the log tab in reshade might show if it has loaded the addon but removed it, could you check that please?

You enabled the camera with Insert (next to backspace) and it enables but you can't move the camera? If you move the mouse, does it rotate? Don't leave a key unbound btw. If you left click + move the mouse, does it move?

I tried following the steps on the documentation to move the camera (I dont have a keyboard with numbpads so I rebinded them to other keys), but for some reason it wont move. Yes, it saves a settings ini file in the folder where the igcsclient.exe is. However that folder must be writable. it might be you have placed the igcsclient.exe + dlls in the game folder, so if you place it in a folder in mydocuments for example it should save these settings when the client is closed.

Is there a way to save the camera configurations in the IGCSClient? I have to set all the camera movements and my preferred keybind every time I launch the tool. Trying to save time. Is it possible?

The Hide DS4 Controller doesn't work. I use HidHide instead, and my problem is solved. Before this, my PC was seeing the original PS4 input and the virtual Xbox input at the same time. Now HidHide hides the original PS4 input, so only the virtual Xbox input is seen by CP2077. You mod works normally now. Thank you for your info!

In ds4windows, did you check the checkbox to 'hide' the controller? I think the ps4 controller is picked up by gog and passed on as-is to the game, I can't block that, I can block xinput data (the controller data windows provides to games). ds4windows makes a ps4/5 controller act like an xbox controller so data is routed through xinput (and thus I can block it) but the controller has to be hidden as a ps4 controller as well...

My "blocking input to game" doesn't seem to work. No matter it's enabled or disabled, my kb/mouse (or set to gamepad - PS4 controller via DS4Windows) can always control the game and camera at the same time. I'm using v1.0.35 with CP2077 2.0 GOG version. What did I miss in setting up the tool or any suggestions? Thx!

I think you have the GoG version? If so, go to settings in the GoG Galaxy client and disable the overlay (I think it's the bottom option in the last menu). This causes the crashes.

You have to enable numlock. Camera movement is locked by the Home key, did you bind that to another key perhaps? (See keybindings in the IGCSClient)

Since the new update I seem to be having an issue where the second I toggle the camera it spams "Camera movement is locked Camera movement is unlocked" where it lets me move the camera for like 2 seconds, locks in place, lets me move again, this might have something to do with the intro, which is where im trying this.

It's a first person game, there's no head on V in teh game unless you open the in-game photomode (and then enable the tools' camera) or use Appearance Menu Mod which is still being ported to 2.0. If there's no head in photomode then something else is going on and perhaps a mod you have installed conflicts?

So, while another user was missing V's head in a particular situation, I'm missing V's head all the time. I've tried in various locations and scenarios, updated from 1.32 to 1.33, and yet, she still has no head any time I go into your photomode.

I started using your camera mode when meeting the president, when you open the door and she attacks you with her gun, I simply get a blanck screen of color. I totally understand, and the DLC was released yesterday. There isn't any rush at all. I was only wondering if I did something wrong when using the mod. Thank you for answering!

I can't reproduce the corrupt save files (I made quite a few and they load fine...), and I tested the changes in the cutscene at the start of the game. There was a non-critical issue with the screenshot taken by the game saved with the save (these look corrupt) which will be fixed in the next build. Which cutscene are you referring at exactly?

Hello!! I wanted to say firstly that I love your camera tools!! It's absolutely amazing and it allows me to take amazing images. My question is, I downloaded your latest version of Camera tools and Cyberlit, however, the camera mode doesn't work in the cutscenes, and it seems to corrupt the save files, as in I can only load a save file that I had before opening the camera tool. Otherwise the game will crash. I wonder if it's something I did or if anyone else has the same issue. Thank you for your time!!

The DOF is IGCS DOF you mean? please set the number of frames to wait to at least 5 if you enable all dlss features in the game.

hey, absolutely love this tool so far... just having a small problem with some scenes in it... when i activate it and run the DOF settings, i get drastic ghosting and fringing around the focused model... i thought this was just part of the camera moving around at first, but it stayed there constantly and ended up with a grey 'shadow' or fringe around V even once the render had finished. any tips on avoiding this, or is there a setting somewhere that i've missed and messed something up lol any help would be appreciated :D

I have installed CyberLitAddon (Redshade) and the Camera tools as shown in the documentation above and in their corresponding Readme files. However, once I run the game and I inject the IGCSClient the game always crashes. I get a notification that a camera has been found on top left corner, and right after, it crashes. Anybody else with this issue? IGCSClient also crashes at the same time.

HUD toggle in v1.0.32 seems to disable some of the advertisements and other elements like street curb notices, some vending machines and arcade cabinets.

I use reshade as that also comes with nice effects (and runs the cyberlit addon if you have a 40x0 card!). In the tools I did implement code which forces the game to take a shot in the photomode at the resolution of the screen (instead of its default 1080p), if nothing helps, that might be an option

So, this probably isn't directly related to this tool but, I'm running the GoG version of the game and am wondering if there's another way to actually take the screenshot without using the Windows Game Bar? My Windows has insisted on saving all screenshots to a system temp folder (C:\Users\dwils\AppData\Local\Temp) and in Microsoft's infinite wisdom the only way I can choose a different folder is by moving that one to where I want it, which, of course, I can't do because it's a temp folder that always has active files in it so it won't allow it to be moved. Thanks.

See if you have any errors in the log tab, make sure you use an official release of the game, not a pirated version, the latest version of the game and not an earlier version and the latest tools version.

Might be windows defender removes it or locks it because the client injects a dll into another process. Try to exclude the game folder from windows defender and also the folder into which you unpack the tools' zip file

Be sure to unpack the tools' zip file in a separate folder, e.g. in my documents or on your desktop. Running the client from the zip file won't work. Maybe that's it?

Yes, I select the process I have an official game it’s not pirated and I’m not running the game as admin. It works for sometime and then after a little while when I go to inject the DLL, it refuses to connect basically as if it’s not registering that I have cyberpunk open even though it’s selected. I tried a fresh install cyberpunk, and even that didn’t work. The only thing that worked was re subbing again to re-download the tool which I’ve had to do three times now😭

Thanks - I'm aware of this for general gameplay, but what mean is when you are in conversation. E.g. when speaking to Dexter DeShawn in the cab. Enabling PM then cam still shows no head. Does AMM fix this?

Cyberlit addon doesn't have these controls, as I couldn't get them to work with the imgui from reshade. Use attach to camera to move the light

I've heard the same from one other AMD GPU user, and he too couldn't find a solution. I don't have an AMD GPU so can't advice things what to do, other than perhaps check if Hardware GPU scheduling is enabled in windows (it causes problems with this game on Nvidia GPUs sometimes). What I have learned from the other user is that it started going wrong after a certain driver update but going back to a driver before that one didn't fix it for some odd reason.. I wish I had more info to help you... :(

Hotsampling CTD the game, and I don't understand why it's happening. I have a AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX, Steam overlay is off, and I don't use MSI Afterburner. I'm on the latest patch 1.62 and using CameraTools_v1030. Everything seems fine, (Hotsampling system: All interception offsets found) the camera is installed with no errors on the log. But when I use and change the resolution in Hotsampling, it crashes. Any advise?

okay what i found out is. The Camera is found when i start IGS in the main menu directly after the start. Than loading in to a save, i can deactivate the hud with del, but i can not switch to cam-mode like always. Since 1.0.19 is showing the same issiue now, there might be some problem with one of the cp2077-mods which were updated recently. Seems i have to look which one is the problem, maybe codeware, photomodeunlocker, red4text or whatever

Odd indeed... you're in the game tho, as in: load a save, and you walk around, then inject the camera, it should find the camera correctly (it does here, latest version from GoG)

I don't distribute older versions. If you have the GoG version, disable the GoG overlay in the galaxy client of GoG. Also, if you use a 40x0 card, use the cyberlit addon for reshade and don't open it in the tools, it crashes the game at the moment due to a weird issue in the engine.

Ah I see, well thank you for considering the idea anyway! :) I do feel like it wouldn't necessarily need anymore code from the game but I'm a very amateur coder and I might not have explained it too well Another way to think of it is if you wanted to be able to switch between PM V looking left or right. Your Look At controls have values that run from -6 to 6 for each component (Torso rotation, head up/down, etc.) So in this scenario one set of values for V looking left would include say -6 for Head left/right. Then another set for V looking to the right might be 4.5. But then you may also have adjusted the values for the other components too (for example, maybe "V looking right" also has their torso turned right to a value of 1.3) which is where it gets more complicated So my idea was having saveable configurations, kind of like the camera's 3 save slots (the ones defaulted to the F6, F7, F8 keys) so that you can swap between each set of values that correspond to V looking a different direction. Save state/Config 1 for V looking left might be something like (Torso left/right=0.00, Torso up/down=0.5, Head left/right=-6, etc) whereas save state/config 2 for V looking right might be (Torso left/right=0.5, Torso up/down=-0.5, Head left/right=6, etc) but the values for each would be saved so you don't have to adjust them manually each time you want V to look left or right Where this would be much more useful though is when you have multiple characters involved, since your tools also work with NPCs through AMM (as long as they're targeted and have AMM's look at feature activated in Target Tools.) Then, for example, if you're trying to get PM V and a spawned NPC to hug through a set of poses, it's much easier to tweak the values of each since they would have their own individual save states, rather than relying on only one set of values. Right now you can do it, but you have to write down or remember the values you used for one while you adjust the other, since one set of values that work well with one character won't for another one when you're trying to sync up their poses And of course, since the Look At controls still affect PM V while you're adjusting the values for an NPC (since they rely on the same bit of code from the game) the workaround presently is to use AMM's Freeze Target on one character while you're adjusting the other, which works perfectly fine for this purpose and like I said before would probably come naturally for anyone combining the features of your camera tools and AMM like this Kind of a niche feature I know, and I may also just be misunderstanding if it would even be possible. Plus you have a lot of other games you're working with, so I totally understand if this idea's a "pass." Again, I appreciate you considering the idea and maintaining support for the tools so far after the game's launch! I use your camera tools all the time :)

Oh your Look At controls do already work on NPCs as long as they're targeted with AMM and have AMM's Look At feature activated! It's really handy! It even works through some animations

I have no idea how to do that as the controls I use are for V only through the photomode code. there's no code in the game that makes you control other characters' eyes/torsos etc.

I've been thinking about how this could be implemented in a way that doesn't involve getting tangled in another mod's code, and I was thinking maybe the best workaround could be different Look At configurations? Something like being able to save 2 or 3 different sets of the Look At values and the user loads them in manually depending on the NPC they're trying to pose. So for example, you might pose V with a certain set of values, then you'd be able to create a save state for those values so that when you go to pose another NPC or a Nibbles replacer, that character could have their own set of Look At values on a separate save state of their own. Then, if you needed to adjust V again, you could load back in "Save State 1" or "Config 1" to tweak those values without changing up what you set up for the other character. Of course, you'd still use AMM's Freeze Target to adjust them separately from one another, but I think that'd be intuitive for someone who would be using a feature like this

Hi Otis! I was just wondering if it's possible/not too difficult to implement separate PM Look At controls for Nibbles replacers? It'd be very useful with xBaebsae's new add-on for AMM, but currently the tools retain the same Look At values for both V and the replacer, which makes it a bit difficult to tweak poses for each. You can use AMM's Freeze Target to isolate one or the other, but trying to sync the two is a bit of a challenge if you have to go back and forth between V and the replacer. Love the tools though, and thank you for continuing to support them so far after launch!

If you have a 40x0 card, then you have to use the cyberlit addon, as there's a bug in CP that makes the tools crash when I render an ImGui overlay. See the camera docs, it's linked in the description

Hi Otis! Seems like 1.62 is still wonky with latest 1.0.24 - as soon as you hook the camera streets become shiny like wetness is cranked to the max - it is not even enabled. If you enable wetness options, wetness becomes 0 and wetness slider does not have any effect (while puddle size slider still works). If I then disable wetness options, game goes back to 100 perfectly wet roads, until I close the tools.

Glad you fixed it! :) F2 is the key to open cyberlit in the tools (you can rebind it of course), and that crashes the game (hence the need for an addon version for 40x0 card users). I truly hope CDPR will fix this issue in their next update

Hi Otis! Great tool, thanks for doing this and keeping it updated :) Just got a 4070 Ti and installed the most recent version of your mod, plus ReShade 5.8.0 as well as the 5.8.0 Addon. Followed the instructions in your Read Me files, verified that the dxgi.dll file is in the x64 folder - good to go - and added the CyberLitAddon.addon file to the x64 folder as well. Followed all the instructions for the Addon tab in ReShade, but game still crashes when I launch the camera. Any suggestions? **Edit/update** OPE goodness, welp the keybind to launch the camera is the Insert key; I previously had it bound to F2 (Cyberlit with F3) and F2 definitely is NOT the key to bind! I went back to insert and it works fine. Leaving this up in case anyone else has a gonk moment as well :)

that's because you're using a camera version that's not compatible with the game you're running. get the latest game version from gog/steam/epic (1.61 dlss3) and use the latest camera version

Make sure you have the right game version with the right camera tools version. They messed up their versioning, as there are two 1.61 versions. that said, if you download the latest game version from steam or gog, you have the 1.61 dlss3 update and you should use tools version 1.0.22. Also, if you're using cp on windows 7 then it's not supported, you have to use windows 10 or 11. The other thing to check is if you use MSI Afterburner/RTSS please close that before injecting. Also the GoG overlay tends to cause problems, no idea if you accidentally have that enabled.

The game just instantly crashes every single time I inject the DLL. Doesn't matter when i try it, menu, in game or where ever, the game crashes. Issue has only appeared after the game and your mod got updated. I have no other camera mods installed, nothing that affects the camera in game either. I have no other overlays active either so i am currently at a loss

Could be, but you have to try. 360 degrees video is a merge of multiple videos in a given format but there are multiple formats to choose from. Picking a 360 degree fov sounds like one of them, but I have no experience with them, so you have to try yourself ... :)

It's a first person game, so there's no head in the game. To see it, you need to enable the photomode and then the camera. Or use a mod which re-instates the head on V (I think AMM can)

Please don't use afterburner with the tools as they might interfere when hotsampling as a lot of the (older) versions of afterburner have crappy hooking code which crashes when hotsampling. Hotsampling requires you to run the game in windowed mode. So go into the settings of CP, and then select windowed mode (not borderless windowed!). So you have a window with a window bar. Then click 'Fake fullscreen' on the tools' hotsampling tab to resize the window to your monitor's size without window bar etc. You should now be able to resize the window through the hotsample tab.

I was a little confused about the hotsampling feature-- I'm having the same problem as someone else I saw in this thread, where changing the resolution causes my game to zoom in drastically. I've tried running the game without mods and playing with settings in reshade, Nvidia control panel, and Afterburner, but I'm still having issues.

When you unpause the game in the pm you mean (and repause it)? There are indeed some situations where it doesn't work as expected. it's sadly a complicated affair and not how most other game engines use gamespeed/pause settings. So it can run into the situation where it can't detect if it has set the pause setting manually or not. (at least I couldn't figure out how to fix that :D ). Luckily there's an easy workaround indeed. :)

Not really a big deal but when you go in to photomode and exit the game is still paused so you have to toggle pause/unpause to unpause gameplay.

Yeah I can't do much about it, sadly. Virusscanners use patterns to find obvious things that malware/viruses use, and the dead giveaway is usually using code that hooks into a process, writes memory etc. which is what I do as otherwise I can't hook into the game. It's usually ok, but sometimes they're flagged as malware (in various forms by different virusscanners, which is kind of hilarious). So I preemptively scan them with virusstotal.com, check if the important ones flag it and then try to move code around to avoid the false positive. this usually works. No idea why operagx (never heard of it) flags it, none of the virusscanners used by virustotal (over 60!) flag it. Thanks for reporting tho. :)

I will trust it is a false positive then. OperaGX blocks v1019 when trying to download with the msg: Download Interrupted: Virus Detected. All the others seem okay with no warnings. This is why it was a flag for me and why I posted.

with what virusscanner? I pulled it through virustotal, just 1 had a false positive, all others were clean? Checking the zip file again, shows 0 virusscanners marking it as infected.

If you're using a ps4 controller, use DS4windows to register the gamepad with windows. You might want to use the option within ds4windows to 'hide' the ps4 controller but you have to test that.

it should, yes. So check if you use any mods that prevent this, e.g. test without mods and then see if it works. Run the game in windowed mode (from the game's menu) and then use the hotsampling tab's fake fullscreen button to run it full screen

Hey FB, I love your mod, but I feel like I'm doing something wrong with the Hot sampling. Isn't it supposed to resize the window to that ratio? I have my game on windowed/borderless yet whenever I pick an aspect ratio it stays Fullscreen, and it is just zoomed in all the way. Maybe that's how it supposed to be and I'm just dumb, but any help will be appreciated. Keep up the great work!

Any idea why I can't get the spotlight to soften/diffuse in Cyberlit? It used to work fine and now none of the sliders seem to affect it? I can't figure it out and it's driving me bananas. I can only make a hard edge circle light. 🤔

After you've clicked 'Inject dll', the log tab in the igcs client should give information about what it did and if there are errors. If it's completely clear something else is going on and I don't know what. Try to remove all mods and see if it works then. Maybe a mod conflicts, but I don't know how that would be.

Hello, thank you for creating such a great mod! I've been having some problems using this mod and I can't figure out why. I ran the tool, clicked on inject DLL, and it seemed to work just fine - but then I realized that the "camera found" notif never popped up / everything except hotsampling doesn't work. No notifs saying an error occured. Any idea on how to fix this? I saw some comments on msi afterburner conflicting with this mod so I disabled that but it doesn't seem like doing so changed anything.

Looks like I just had to enable "Use extended aspect ratio heuristics" in Reshade. Just found this option by accident, read something about "DLSS" and gave it a try. All is well!

Started playing Cyberpunk today and have some weird problem, although I'm not sure if it is with your tool or Reshade (or a combination of both). When using Hotsampling via your tool and a depth-based shader (tested with CinematicDOF and Display Depth) the whole picture is blurry, but...only when I use 2x resolutions or above. Up until 1.75x there is no issue. I have the latest Cyberpunk and IGCS version. Google tells me of issues with CPs deph buffer, no idea if that might be the problem here as well. Not a huge deal, of course, but it would be nice to take shots in higher resolutions.

storing camera position/fov can be done by creating a camera path and add a node, you can then move back to that node by simply going to that node on the camera path. I do that when I setup the shot, and then setup a light for instance, first add the camera pos as a node then move to where I want the light, set that as node, add the light and move back/forth between the nodes Saving camera locations to disk/lists is cumbersome as they're tied to a game location, so to use them again, you have to be in the same spot

Hey hey, I wonder if I could make a feature request (unless it already exists and I'm just missing it). I obviously have no idea how possible this is, nor how much work it might be, but it would be nice to have a Shot List available where it would save camera positions, settings, character pose, etc. and to be able to cycle through them at will. As an example scenario, I've just set up a fairly nice shot but noticed that V's hand is clipping through the brim of her cap. Currently my only option is quit out of everything, remove the cap, then go back in a re-set-up the entire shot. Saving my shot set-up before backing out and being able to reselect it once back in would be super handy. Or having separate lists, one strictly for cameras so those camera settings can be used for any shot, and another list including character posing. Anyway, that's just my thought. This tool is still amazing! and even though I should be learning how to 3D model humans, I'm just having too much fun with this!

I made a typo :) It's *not* related to my tools, mods which change the resolution on the fly have the same thing, so I think the game introduces the black frames when the internal resolution is changed (which resizes the frame buffer), but where that happens is anyone's guess....

the black screen after hotsampling disappears after 60 frames or so, but if you hotsample to a high res with 2fps, then it takes a long time. I haven't found a solution tho, nor what causes it. The mod which changes res on the fly has teh same problem, so it's NOT related to my tools (I just set the res and the game does the rest)

Hello. Am I the only one who has a problem when I change the screen size with this program, I get a black screen for a long time? When updating the game and your application, now I constantly wait up to a minute until the black screen disappears. This also happens when I go back to my screen size.

Heya FB. Just tried the new Cyberpunk v1016 tools with the newly updated 1.5 version of the game and I can't get the camera to activate in game. I run tool and inject DLL as per usual, pop up confirms camera found, but in game I press insert and nothing happens. Only button I can get to work is Numpad 0 to pause game. Anything you can recommend? Thx in advance.

The pmhacks are a way to control the head and body in the photomode with the sliders in the photomode, so the sliders go further and you can lock e.g. the body in place while V looksat the camera. It's very arcane and I think the AMM mod nowadays has the same functionality. The pmhacks also require cheat engine

What did you specify as 'camera device' in the Configuration tab of the client? If you didn't touch that, it should work with either kb/mouse or gamepad. So kb/mouse nor gamepad works, if you are in-game and enable the camera? Please check if you're using the latest game version (1.3.1) and the latest tools (v1.0.15). There are two versions attached to this post, one is for 1.23 for people who use an older version of the game for mods.

No, V's face isn't available when you enable the camera, as it's a 1st person game. To enable the head you need another mod, or first start the photomode which enables the head, then enable the camera

I can't reproduce it, works fine here. Try to inject the camera when you have loaded a save, and see if there are any errors in the Log tab of the client. Also disable MSI Afterburner/RTSS if you run that. Also, check if you have the latest version of the game (1.3.1) and if you're on Windows 7, you're out of luck, it's not supported. If you can't get it working, send me a msg over patreon (not as a comment here).

I meant by lockup where I have to use the task manager to close the game. I used the ins to the right of backspace and it repeated the freeze up. I tried just pulling up the lighting menu, the game froze to where I need to Task Manager. However, the pause and unpause command on 0's Ins will show " Game paused" and then second time "Game Unpaused" but still freezes and shows "Unresponsive" on task manager. I apologize, the injection process works.

You have the latest version of the game, v1.3.1? If you're using the "Ins" key on the numeric keyboard for enabling the camera, please use the Insert key on the right side of the Backspace key on your keyboard instead. the 0 key on the numeric keypad (which has 'Ins' on it) is for pausing / unpausing the game. Not sure if you mean that with 'locks the game'.

Hello, This mod I have kept my eyes on, finally saved a bit to get it, I have the folder sitting in the cyberpunk folder, I run the igsc as admin, process found, then injected dll, then ingame says camera found, however upon using the enable key wherever it immediately locks the game to where I'm Task managing. As stated in the table, it's a bit cumbersome. it also doesn't always work it seems. There are two values which are sometimes swapped (hence it depends on what works on head or body), so the table can't figure out 'this is the head' and 'this is the body'. Do make sure you have the latest game version and table version tho (so the latest table version doesn't work with the 1.23 version of the game)

It might be MSI Afterburner / RTSS, if you use that. That hooks into everything that renders and sadly it makes the game crash when the tools are used as the tools render a layer on top of the game. If you disable the RTSS overlay (the counters) in MSI Afterburner, hotsampling shouldn't crash.

I think it's Cyberlit's code that's now integrated into the tools (since a couple of versions) and which doesn't play well with the D3d12on7 library used to run dx12 games on windows 7. I'm sorry. I'll make a note that it doesn't run on windows 7

press its exe. when cp77 is already on ( Don't run cyberpunk as Admin). Point it to cp77 exe from CameraTools menu. Then in bottom lower box, search for camera tools Cyberpunk2077CameraTools.dll. select it. then press inject button. then press "Insert" keyboard key; when in game.to start the cam ( or whatever you bind it to ).

Not sure what you mean with 'blocking AMM from working' as it works fine here. AMM has to toggle the head, so if you use AMM to toggle the head, then enable the camera it should be fine. If amm can't toggle the head then it won't work.

Oh, but that is all i want, to make your mod work with AMM to make V's head re-appear in cut scenes. But like I said, your camera mod seems to block AMM from working. Can you run your mod together with AMM, and if so, how? AMM has a function called "toggle V head", which is what I'm trying to use. Oh, wait a minute, you're telling me that this function is only to make the head re-appear AFTER a cut scene has been played out? There is absolutely no way to make it work DURING a cut scene?

Heh :) I wish there was a way. But other than AMM or other mods which make the head reappear, there's no way to show it. During gameplay the game goes back to a model without a head (as the camera is at that spot). So I don't know of a way to make V's head reappear other than the methods offered by e.g. AMM.

Hi, love your camera mod, but one thing i don't understand is your suggestion that it's possible to see V's head in cut-scenes, if you use your mod together with Appearance Menu Mod. I have managed to make the head visible in still-images from a cut-scene, but never when the scene plays normally., Whenever I un-pause the scene, the camera moves back into V's head. The Appearance mod won't even work together with your mod. Can't open its' menu or use its' shortcuts when your camera mod is enabled. Can you please describe in detail how to make V's head show in cut-scenes. I'd be eternally grateful1 :)

This crash occurs when unpausing in the photomode, correct? That crash is something I can't fix, as it occurs inside the engine and is caused by unpausing during photomode where the engine expects things to be paused. I've looked into this for a long time but I can't see how I can prevent these crashes, as all I do is unpause the game, but apparently the engine is in a mode that doesn't expect this.

Having and issue with the pause and unpause function where it only sporadically works without crashing the game. A lot of the time pause will cause an instant crash.

cant get screenshots to work with this mod on steam or on nividia. as soon as i enable the camera steam screenshots dont work and nivida just takes a screnshot of my desktop behind the game but only when the camera is active. whats gone wrong?

Glad you like it! Sadly I couldn't find the cutscene dof enable setting, at least not a reliable one (it sometimes works) so the only way to get rid of it is to disable the dof in the game settings. (and Otis_Inf is my nickname ;) not the name of the mods :P )

I love this mod, love your work, happy to be here and THANK YOU! This week I brought Otis_Inf into CP77 cutscenes. Been at it for a week trying to figure out how to focus the camera. See no other posts about loss of focus in cutscenes and all attempts to bring in the in-game camera controls are ignored. Everything is blurry unless I'm inches from a character. The camera is getting info from somewhere about focal distance. How can I have a say here? Thanks!

I have already finished the game so it's a bit hard to trigger a cutscene, but I'll see what I can do. It sounds like there's a write to the camera coordinates in memory that are only used in a cutscene, which previously wasn't there. (e.g. introduced in a patch).

If you move too far away from your character, the game engine will indeed go into low detail mode. I haven't noticed a yellowish tint but then again I haven't gone too far away from my character.

Yeah the official steam version, but I'll try messing with my mods next time I'm on. EDIT: still has the flickering although i know this mod was meant more for pictures so it might not work for this or if it does im stumped. I was trying to get some footage of a cutscene from different angles as it was playing but while i can move the camera where i want to set it, when I unpause the gametime it flickers between my cameras spot and the first person camera from the cutscene, might try rolling back some of my amd drivers because im getting the notorious green screen occasionally too but thats more my end Edit 2: I can kind of work around this with post by just spamming the frame skip key while recording and then edit out the bad frames and since im relatively experienced with vegas, i did a test run that came out pretty good just gonna take some time

I might be doing something wrong here but during CUTSCENES, when i enable the camera my screen flickers between the cameras view and the first person view rapidly so i cant get any shots rly maybe i have a mod conflict? not sure, edit:I do have AMM and am using it during my session(will try a reinstall next time I play) also, it seems to work fine when I freeze the in-game cutscene time, but when I let it play at normal speed, it flickers

Hello, firstly i'm very pleased with your tool as it work very well because it's well made and quite easy to use. But there is one issue related to the game that annoys me and I wanted to ask if you can think about a work around on your end. So basically in Cyberpunk 2077, while the player is in first person the game will not display his head, the posture and animations of the players will also looks very scuffed. The lights are created in the engine and are consisting of 2 parts: the engine part and the part wrapping it that's used in cyberlit. the engine can remove these lights if they're e.g. no longer visible and doesn't notify cyberlit (there's no way to do that) that part of the light that's in the engine has been removed. Cyberlit does some checks to see if the part has been removed but these aren't always successful and it sadly crashes the game. Newer camera versions do this better tho, so if you're not using 1.0.10, please do. Removing the lights simply removes the cyberlit part of the light so you can't interact with it anymore (and run into a crash). The engine doesn't offer a way to remove lights once created. To avoid crashes: use the latest tool version and every new scene or load, start with fresh lights, don't reuse lights you created before you loaded a save or created on the other side of the map or an hour ago

Hey, sorry if it was already answered. But game crashes if you stick light source to the camera and then load a save file. Also sometimes it randomly crashes when creating a light source. Also removing the light source doesn't seem to be working for me. It disappears from the list, but light stays in the world. But thank you anyway for this tool.

The loading screen is something I sadly can't control, the engine sees the assets it has in memory are for a location 'out of zone' and will unload the and stream in new assets. So it's something the engine does and I can't fix that. The jumping of the camera might be a bug (it has to calculate the angles back from the look quaternion it is currently on). This should work as expected but might be in some situations it doesn't. I have to look into the math to see if I can reproduce that. The constant speed is coming soon. I just finished implementing that (was harder to do than I expected) and also options to switch off ease in / out at start/stop so you can fully control the speed of the camera on the path.

First of all, thank you for this amazing software! I guess at this point I spent more time making photos with its help than played the game content, lol. I want to report a bug-ish behavior in camera Paths feature: if you place points in path far apart that it triggers game loading screen, camera controls at point becomes detached from the direction of the camera. Here I recorded a demo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1ei2NYAqvg - fly through a long path between two points, second point has turned camera - go to first point, try to move forward (with [Numpad 8]), it moves as expected - go to second point in path - camera direction is correctly saved, but when trying to move forward camera resets to default (?) direction - reset to second point again and try to turn camera with mouse - camera direction jumps. That's a pretty minor issue, but makes editing long paths a bit frustrating. Also, it would be very nice for camera to have linear speed, as opposed to current behavior: ease-in/ease-out at the start and end of path and time between points in path split equally. If there would be an option to specify camera speed, instead of total time on path...

Not sure if this helps but the Fling Trainer app lets you have infinite double jump so you can essentially fly onto high buildings and over fences to move closer to areas

Does the latest version of the mod work with CP 1.06? I used to be able to get the camera tools working but uninstalled it at one point and then got the new camera tools version. I can turn off the HUD and pause the game but not turn on the free camera.

I can't reproduce it. CP 1.2.1, tools v1.0.8, light created (spot) works fine like before. Are you in a bright area? As lights don't work that well in bright areas as the environment light overrules the lights created (which was the case before too btw). Nothing has changed in cyberlit in v1.0.8 btw, so it should work as before. In my test I was outside, in the shade. Light was visible properly but not super bright (as it was sunny). WHen I moved time of day slider to e.g. midnight, there wasn't a lot of ambient light of course and the light was rendered way brighter. This is what the game does. I don't know if that changed in 1.21 of the game.

No idea if it's just me (again, sorry!), but I think that CyberLit doesn't work as well as it did in 1.0.7. No matter the colour or intensity the light is barely visible now.

It appeared the CET mod broke and caused problems, once I'd updated that one to the latest version things work as expected with 1.0.8, so I've reuploaded that one. Enjoy!

I hope I've ironed out most of the pause/gamespeed issues in v1.0.8. There still might be some conflicting things wrt to pause + gamespeed usage at the same time, this is sadly unavoidable as the game uses the same value for time dilation (gamespeed) and pause but uses a different value for photomode pause... This might sound simple at first but the # of different situations one can run into is quite high. (edit) right after I uploaded this, CP got updated, and it's creating a crash in a certain situation. Will re-upload 1.0.8 once I've fixed that

Yeah, I do use AMM as well... Removing and restoring the mod didn't help me but I noticed that pausing prior to opening the photo mode makes the pause work at least for most of the times.

I've seen the same thing, when I open Appearance menu mod. For some reason it makes it fail. I saw it yesterday and thought there was a bug, but when I remove AMM, and run the game, everything works, pause works fine. Then I restored AMM, started the game again, and things worked ok too. I have no idea why this is tho...

Not sure if anyone encountered the same problem, but I'm having issues with pausing back the game while in photo mode. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, while previous versions used to unpause and pause the game in it with no problems.

I found the issue, I included by accident my own .ini file in the zip so it uses my settings/bindings instead of your own. I use a gamepad so the gamepad is the 'camera device' in these settings. To fix it, please change this to keyboard/mouse on the configuration tab. If you made other setting changes like keybindings, please reconfigure these too. My apologies for this dumb mistake from my part. I've reuploaded the zip without the settings file.

I've uploaded v1.0.7b which is the same as 1.0.7 but now doesn't contain my own settings file for the client. I'm sorry for this mistake which caused some confusion. For the people who have downloaded 1.0.7 and wonder why things are different now: please reconfigure the settings you had/bindings you had, as they've been overwritten as I accidentally included my own settings file in the zip.

Numlock and Numpad work fine made sure that it did still not responding to keybindings and it doesnt respond to the mouse movements either but the hide ui and Camera enabled and Disable work so no idea

It might, but frankly it's unlikely. The engine has a small buffer for loading detailed data when the camera is moved. E.g. when you move the camera 100m away and then go back it often already needs to load textures again.

I see. Could be there be a way to have the player character attached to the camera position at a set distance, so that it would be possible to noclip/flyover without those limitations? I've just got into your Patreon this week mainly for the Cyberpunk camera but will be exploring the others soon.

The engine has a certain range around where the player character is, where it loads elements of a certain detail. If you move the camera away from that, the engine won't load higher detail elements around where the camera is, the player is still at the same location. So that's sadly something of the engine. It's common in open world games btw. You see the same thing happening in HZD, AC games etc.

Thanks for the hard work on this! I'm trying to control the camera throughout Night City for some cinematic shots not featuring V. Once the camera moves a certain distance away, the colors start to fade and objects like cars turn 2D. Is there a way to keep the player character 'bound' to the camera position to avoid this happening. I've tried mods, god mode and whatnot but nothing seems to solve this issue. Any idea how to make it work?

Could you try v1.0.6 I released an hour ago? It has cyberlit integrated (so you don't need to inject that anymore) and it's likely it solves your problem.

I just tried it and I can't reproduce it. I had the game run as windowed (so hotsampling would work). then minimized that window, then ran the cyberlit injector, it popped up the dialog with the info that dx12 was hooked etc. and then I clicked the icon on the task bar to bring back the game, which it did, window showed properly. Could inject the tools after that, no problems. You use windows 7 perhaps? DX12onWindows7 isn't always working properly. You're sure you use the latest game version + cyberlit/ tools release? Could you try with the game run windowed and not minimize it?

Ah, sorry for not sounding very clear. I meant maximizing it back from the taskbar. I tried it with different settings of the game window too (borderless/fullscreen) but it doesn't seem to make any difference. I get the pop-out window that the dll loaded correctly but I am stuck 'cause the game itself doesn't want to come back from its minimized state.

Be sure to download v1.0.5, and not v1.0.4 of the camera tools. If you downloaded v1.0.4 earlier today it contains a bug that hotsampling doesn't work. Cyberlit doesn't affect the game's window rendering, so it's a bit odd that you can't maximize the window after injecting it. What exactly do you mean with 'maximizing the game window', in the settings of the game you mean?

I run into a similar issue with Cyberlit, except it doesn't matter whether I run it first or second or solo without the Tools, for whatever reason I still can't maximise the game window after injecting Cyberlit's dll.

What exactly do you mean with 'open the game up'? Is it minimized and you want to see the window again? Also, (and I make this mistake sometimes too), if you first inject cyberlit and then the tools, the tools might pick the cyberlit window as the main window and you'll get that as main window. So in order to make it work, first inject the tools then cyberlit. (oh and you need CP 2077 v1.2.0 of course)

Yes, as it can't find the Photomode struct (see the 'log' tab in the client). This is fixable tho, but will take some time, as Cyberlit is also broken (haven't tested the ce table for the pm enhancements but I recon it's broken too). The PM struct is needed to determine which hud to hide. Stay tuned. (but will likely be tomorrow (wednesday) at the soonest)

When you create a light (spotlight or area light with spot characteristics is preferred) and it's a sunny day, it has to be set to a high strength to be visible. You created a spotlight close to e.g. a character and it was dark and nothing changed?

pmhacks is precisely for that :) You first enable lookat camera in the photomode, then you press F7 when the body is positioned properly, then you press Shift-F7 to enable head move (move the photomode camera, not the tools camera, as the lookat feature works with the photomode camera only, sadly), then when you think the head is in the right position, press Ctrl-Shift-F7. The eyes should now move but the body is fixed, when you move the camera. When you have the eyes at the right spot, press F8. It's a bit cumbersome, and with an NPC in the neighborhood (e.g. judy) head moving isn't working as the code I intercept also works for these npcs all of a sudden :(. You want to disable F8 and F7 again when continue playing btw :) Video: nice! :D

In cutscenes you're out of luck, there's no way to get the head back. In gameplay you can open the photomode and that will bring back the 3rd person view with head, then use the camera to properly move whereever you want. It's the only way at the moment

Thanks for the camera! It blows my mind. The only problem is that the head of the main character disappears when you use it during cutscenes, and even third person view mod doesn't help. So if anybody here gave me a clue on how to load the head back, I would be very grateful <3

Updated CyberLit to v1.0.6d, it now has a better checker for finding the right entity to tie a light to so the game should crash less when you click 'create'.

The issue is resolved by unplugging the USB cable from my PS4 controller. I've been using it with the cable. Now it works perfectly via the Bluetooth connection.

There's a workaround: CyberLit has a way to block all input in the engine. you could bring up the cyberlit Gui, and that'll block the input to the engine. I haven't ported that to the tools yet, as in general the xinput block is good enough... Another alternative is to use mouse/kb for camera movement, as that input is blocked.

Unless you use ds4windows which adds the ps4 controller as an xbox controller to windows and disable it in steam, (i think you use steam), steam will offer the controller directly to the game, and my system uses xinput, the system used by windows and xbox controllers. I can block input in xinput, but not the input rerouted through steam.

Gears 4 isn't possible, I'm afraid, as it uses UWP and creating tools for UWP wrapped games is a no-go. I did create tools for Gears Tactics, but with a dump of the memory of a running game, so I don't have the game myself, and therefore can't support it if it breaks, hence I haven't released it.

There isn't a screenshot button, but you can use Alt-F1 (if you have a geforce card), or reshade (preferable, https://reshade.me, which also comes with nice effects like depth of field, color grading and more, or you could use MSI afterburner (start it as last with Cyberlit as it otherwise makes the game crash).

When I use my gamepad (PS4 controller), it still moves the player and the camera at the same time after I block the input and change Game Control Device to gamepad. Any idea why I can't move the camera only with my gamepad?

Oh that thingy. Yeah that's ok, the lights created are new lights with their own color/aspects, they're not affected by this mod (but haven't tested, i don't use it). Just try to see what works for you.
