Important Update on Wallpaper Releases!
Added 2025-03-04 10:37:26 +0000 UTCLately, Iβve been completely overwhelmed with wallpapers π±π. I started with just one swatch per file, but then I wanted to offer more varietyβgoing from one to nine swatches per file, including complementary plain colours, as well as versions with wainscoting and crown mouldings.
While this makes wallpapers more versatile, it also massively increases the workloadβnot just for the wallpaper file itself, but also for the previews π΅βπ«. I have to create multiple preview formats to showcase all the variations for my website, CurseForge, and Instagram (which, of course, just changed its formatβ¦ as if I didnβt already have enough to do! π).
With all this extra work, Iβm spending way too much time on a single wallpaper file, which means:
Slower progress on my projects
Fewer uploads per week for you
Less time to create new furniture and decor
So, Iβve decided to change my workflow!
Instead of creating everything in one go, Iβll first make separate files for:
βοΈ Pattern only
βοΈ Complementary plain colours
βοΈ Pattern + crown moulding
βοΈ Pattern + wainscoting
βοΈ Colours + crown moulding
βοΈ Colours + wainscoting
βοΈ Etcβ¦
And only after all these variations are done, Iβll combine them into a single .package file for those who prefer having everything in one place.
π‘ This is the general idea of how Iβll be structuring wallpapers moving forward. Hopefully, this will help me keep up with releases, reduce both file management and preview workload, and bring you more furniture and decor CC alongside wallpapers.
Thank you for your patience and support! β€οΈ
With love,

Thank you so much for your understanding! β€οΈ I totally agreeβmerged files can slow down the game, which is why I never use them either. What I actually meant was grouping all the swatches I create into a single .package file instead of having separate files for each variation. That way, everything stays organized without impacting load times for those who prefer this way! π That being said, for my own gameplay, I actually prefer when each wallpaper swatch is in its own file rather than all variations being in one, just because you only see one custom thumbnail at a time in the build/buy catalog. And I donβt know, my brain just refuses to register that there might be other swatches inside when Iβm looking for a specific one ππ

2025-03-05 11:32:55 +0000 UTCI completely understand! Work smarter, not harder, right? I do request a non-merged file when files are merged, if possible. Merged files do increase game load time and with, uh, a "lot" of CC my game takes too long to load as it is lol. So I use S4Studio to unmerge everything and try to simplify my folder trees/paths to be as short as possible, too. IE only 3 folders deep instead of 5 where possible, etc. As always, love your work!!! <3
