The amount of trauma Satya has been through is insane, but the thing is that she had no choice but to keep going through it all and keep it together. She was the eldest child, protector for her brother and the parent.
The reason Satya was extremely protective for her brother is because she knew that they had only each other. Everyone else is happy to use you as per convenience and pretend like they're there for you until things go left and then there will be no one to hold your hand. She had to save her brother because he wasn't wrong to begin with. It is justice all the way!
Vedang aka Ankur reminded me of young Ranveer Singh. The resemblance is crazy. Poor guy got into the worst situation because of another person's mistake. But he was blessed with a sister like no other.
The Bachchan references were well used in the film. Also, in India there is a festival where the sister ties a sacred thread on the brother's wrist which is them promising to protect the sister. But I liked how they reserved it for the story, and we hear Satya tell her brother that you wear my rakhi so you're under my protection.
It is a good film but I don't know why it felt like it lacked something big. I was expecting it to be maybe little more elevated but still not bad.

I can confirm the same! I absolutely loved Laal Singh Chaddha and it's music in my opinion is the most beautiful album in recent times. Even if it won't work at the box-office, it still won hearts and many people regret that they didn't watch it in the cinemas after it was on OTT.

Oh about the Aamir Khan Foresst Gump movie, it's adapted but is very different in it's overall storytelling & setting, and Aamir Khan portrays the character with such innocence. Other people who love Foresst Gump as well have been able to lovee Laal Singh Chaddha on it's own, it's a very fresh take 😊
